Also, i'm kind of really confused.

Was i supposed to be level 24-27 when I killed the steel gym? The lake of rage event was way weaker than the gym. =/ Am I leveling wrong? I'm taking the ice gym with quilava at 29.

scream Yes, Bugsy is finally beaten! That Scyther of his was a real pain... It took out all of my team with either U-Turn or Quick Attack. It literally had FIVE critical hit KOs in a row until it hit my Staryu...

Even it wasn't enough to stop it, though. It got stuck in a Harden / Leer stalemate, as I tried to brace against upcoming attacks. Alas, even an extra X-Defend I had lying in my rucksack wasn't enough... A single Quick Attack was enough to take it down.

Fortunately I managed to sacrifice my Chikorita ( crying ) to revive my Onix and it managed to KO it in a single Rock Throw... granted it was already weakened from going through most of the team.

That bad, huh? Maybe you should try training your team in the other cartridge that way you get the boost from traded pokemon and it isn't as cheap...

That bad, huh? Maybe you should try training your team in the other cartridge that way you get the boost from traded pokemon and it isn't as cheap...

I don't have another DS, plus I started a new game on the other cartridge.

I also have Platinum, Diamond, Emerald, Gold as you know, and yellow but its ROM got corruted, i give soul or heart a try when i actually have money and time
