Anubis smiled, still looking at the coin. "It's really old too." he mumbled, taking it back. "It's actually pure gold."

Aud grinned. "Really? That's cool...." she said. She remembered the moment where she had found a silver coin and thought it was very special. Aud smiled a bit, remebering that time. She blinked, takng herself out of thought. "So all egyptian coins used to be made outta gold?" she asked, not entirely sure why she was asking questions about money.

Anubis tried to remember if all Egyptian money was made of gold, he didn't think so, so that'd be his answer. "I don't think so, just drawing up a blink at the moment." he explained.

Aud nodded. "Oh...Still cool though." She said with a small smirk. "So...um..." She trailed off, not really having any questions to ask the guy.

Anubis shrugged. "I'm a bit surprised I even have any right now" he admitted, putting the coin on the table.

Aud raised an eyebrow. "Haven't you been in the Duat or something? Shouldn't you have lots?" she asked, not really understanding the whole concept of the Duat.

Anubis blinked. "Well, yeah, but I don't get paid for doing my job in hell... Maybe my evil me accepted a few bribes." He said, absentmindedly.

Aud blinked. She didn't really get it, but didn't feel like asking more questions. "Okay..." She said, shrugging. "Anyways..." Aud sighed. They had pretty much talked about everything. Even Egyptian coins.

Anubis watched as the woman came by. She seemed curious about the coin, but she took it as currency and was going to let them leave. "I figured that'd work." he mumbled to himself.

Aud snickered. "Anyone will take gold." She said as she watched the waitress leave their table.

Anubis smiled. "I guess so... I still don't understand why it's so valuable." He admitted.

Aud shrugged. "Me neither. It's just a mineral, anyways." She said, yawning softly. "But it's rare." Aud smirked slightly. "People don't tend to carry gold too much these days, hm?" she asked, glancing at Anubis for a second.

Anubis smiled slightly. "Egyptians used it a lot, actually." The very top of a pyramid was pure gold... How they even got that much was a mystery to him. "I think someone stole it though."

Aud nodded. She had at least learned that people would steal from pyramids. "That would make sense." She said, not really sure of what else to say. "I mean, isn't that one of the most ancient cultures or something?"

Anubis shrugged. "I suppose, it's not too strange that people have to steal stuff from the things that can't protect themselves." Obviously he didn't like graverobbers... It just pissed him off to mess with his domain.
