When the island hit the water, Nikolai nearly fell off the building, it wasn't a soft landing, and he doubted the foundations of the island were very stable at the moment. He watched as the fighting led away from where he was and towards the edge of the island. When the fighting had left the immediate area, Nikolai sighed and stood up, gripping the railing and leaning over the side, he looked down a the ground, everything was a wreck, cars bodies debris, so much for a haven for Owls, someone wanted to take down paradise. Nik doubted that he and Anya would be staying very much longer, so he simply sighed and walked over to the unconscious woman. He picked her up and threw her over his shoulder, stepped up on the rail and hopped off the side, only to shift and stick to the side of the building. Unseen by the naked eye, a small cloud of solid shadow particles covered him and the woman, so it looked like he was defying gravity, when he was just holding himself up with shadows. When he reach the ground, Nik hopped off the building and landed softly on thee ground. Looking around, he asked, loudly, "Anyone else alive around here? Anyone injured and need a doctor? Anyone mortally wounded and need an undertaker?" Sighing again, he looked at the woman on his shoulder; he couldn't just go carrying her around, she was obviously with those people who were fighting that magma guy. He sighed and thought about what to do. He should find the people she was with and give her to them, but he was really worried about Anya, he wanted to make sure she was okay as well. In the end, Nik decided to do neither and simply walked over to a nearby car, setting the woman down and sitting up on the hood, waiting for something to happen. Nik's music was still playing loudly through his headphones but he didn't quite care enough to shut it off. He looked around for anyone that was alive and hummed lightly, tapping his foot silently against the car.

After that magma guy got away, Anya had managed to somehow find Nikolai once again. He had been seated on the hood of a car watching over Roulin's unconscious companion (Cecilia), listening to his music. They had then decided to take Cecilia to a hospital along with Roulin. Well, that was more Nikolai's idea than Anya's. She didn't really care what happened to them so much now anyway. She was no longer a member of the UNS so she didn't really care what went on between the Night Owls and the UNS now. She just wanted to live her life in peace now.

"I can't believe I let you talk me into bringing those two to a hospital!" Anya muttered aloud to Nikolai as they sat in the waiting room of the hospital, waiting to hear word about Roulin and Cecilia.

Solaris Beauty
The jet continued to fly over the international waters and soon came to a landing. The jet had stopped and Noel had awoken. She stood up looking at the few who had volunteered for the assignment. "I'm going to need a 150% cooperation and teamwork when it comes to this mission" she told them. They unboarded the plane to see the destruction and chaos going on.

Erin sat in her seat during the entire flight from Tokyo to Brazil. While she was curious to know what had happened in her homeland after she and her sister had left, Erin wasn't exactly thrilled to be going back there. Truth be told, she was a little frightened. Noel had said they were going to there because some sort of destruction was happening. Once the plane landed, Erin followed Noel and her sister off the plane. "What exactly are we going to do now, Noel? I know you said that something happened here, but what was it?"

Ana's eyes looked at the city one last time, knowing that she needed to leave. Fire glowed brightly, screams of fright echoing into the streets. Her face stayed placid as she ran out of the city, her face guarded from all emotions. The blood on her neck was dry, small crimson flakes flying off her pale skin. Her body moved quickly, dodging cars and bodies of the departed, a small pray on her lips as she passed. Ana's hair flew wildly around her, her dress snapping in the wind as she made her way to safety.

"Don't sell yourself short. You were more help than you know." Roulin replied assuringly while he watched the show Cecilia put on with her snake-like sword. After it wrapped itself around her, he nodded to with raised brow. If she could do that, than in any fight, big or small, she was of much use. Right now, he needed to gather his shirt, tie and coat. Apparently the medical staff saw it fit to remove them so that they could attach every useless object they could find to him. A peturbed sigh escaped the detective as he hastily turned to the door. "Please. Give me a second...alright. Do you have everything?" Roulin was redressed and positioned so that he was entering the room once again. Super speed was the culprit behind the enigma. The papers strewn about the hallway was proof of this. "If so, then please. Let's get the hell out of here."

Nikolai bobbed lightly to his music as he sat next to Anya in the waiting room. He turned and looked at her when she mumbled something to him. He continued to bob lightly and smiled before saying, "Well, didn't they used to be your friends and coworkers or something? It's nice to be nice to those who may or may not have been so nice. Besides, I only talked you into bringing them here, I never said we had to stay. We can leave now if you like. Oh, by the way, you may need a fake name that we can call you if we don't want the UNS to recognize you. How about... Lisa? No... I'm no good with names... what about... Rain? Nikita maybe? What about Iris?" Nik wasn't very good with coming up with names, so obviously they weren't terribly creative. But they needed something plausible to call her so no one questioned who she was. He sighed and contemplated more names silently as he bobbed lightly to his music. He wasn't sure why they decided to stay in the hospital, it had been his plan to just leave after bringing the two to the hospital, but for some reason they just sat down in the waiting room and waited. Nikolai wasn't a fan of hospitals, too symmetrical and clean for his tastes, everything was so bright and fluorescent, too much so in Nik's opinion.

"Oh I won't," Che replied almost in the same moment she ended her statement. At this point, it was hard to accept anything from Kate as genuine. Torn by duties, family and responsibility, it was hard to judge anything said by her as "truth" or "factual." Those angry at the world tended to recount things slightly different and when the truth was told, knowledge of their dispostion always skewed the emotions of the listener. This is what Che thought. He too was damaged. After explaining his life to another person, they viewed him differently too. Most wounds healed. Those of Kate's, he hoped, would heal soon. "I don't think you've experienced what life truly has to offer. Laughter is just one of the niceties handed out by it and myself," said the tiring owl. "In all honesty, I don't think you deserve this position...not to say you're not cut out for it. My thoughts may not matter, but I think ough to have better. Or at least a break from your job. Your boss is a real a** for not giving yearlies or monthlies."

Kate was wounded in the sense that she had physically wounded herself to attempt suicide. But she was also wounded in the emotional sense because she felt her parents didn't care too much about her. Her father had thought only about himself when he left her with her mother. And her mother only cared about her job and where to get her next drink and fling. Just the thought of her mother made Kate change her train of thought. She never wanted to think about that awful woman again.

"I know you are only joking about my being compensated for my work with monetary substance, but I was never given payment to take on this position to begin with. It was forced upon me." Kate answered simply. "There are no breaks from what I do. It is a full time job in the extreme meaning of the word...."

Dwyte/Mail the Separated Owl

Mail walked ahead of Kojiro, ignoring all the loud screams as people scrambled. He knew where to go, knowing that the elevators would be useless as Kojiro destroyed everything. So he took the alternative, heading to the stairwell he headed down at a small pace, some people pushing by him, Mail becoming annoyed as he shoved them back, some people falling back down the stairs, not caring if they were alive or dead. Finally down in the basement, Mail spotted the back up generators, where some workers were desperately trying to get everything up and working. Smiling he held up his hand the machines all becoming frozen in an instant in a sheet of white and blue. Some people gasped, others screamed as they looked at the strange insane man. "What are you doing?" A security man yell as he lounged at Mail. Turning, and in a flash Mail pulled out one of the twin swords, stabbing the man, he fell back in a gasp, looking down on him, Mail gave a 'humff' noise, not wanting to deal with the humans anymore.

Turning he continued to freeze all the machines, unlike Kojiro, his specialty did not come with the power of ice. His went more along of breaking the ice that he formed. Blades in hand he shoved his right blade deep into one of the frozen machines listening to the grinding noise, until he sparked up through the ice. Continuing with all of the machines he rolled his eyes, as humans ran from the room in terror, someone carrying the security guard that was already good as dead.

"As silly of a question as it may be, do you want to be paid? If it'll make you feel any better, I'll pay you out of my pocket when I get my job back from Lucien." Che replied to Kate's explaination. Ripping someone from such a responsibility was never easy for anyone. Making the experience a bit better sometimes was. Possibly because Che didn't know the full extent of Kate's job, he could offer all that he wanted. Perhaps once he understood the real effort behind the job could he truly speak with her on even terms. "Worker's right's honey. You have to fight for them sometimes," said Che with a snap of his fingers. "One day, when I'm not sleepy, show me what you do on this job alright? I'm gonna catch some--zzz...."

Cecilia watched, impressed as he quickly redressed due to super speed. Now if only she could learn that kind of trick. Sure, she was fast, but it didn't work out so well for her when she tried to get dressed that way. Luckily, the doctors had seen fit to leave her clothes on. They were a little torn in various places, but other than that, there wasn't much damage. She checked herself over. She had her weapon, all of her limbs were still intact, she hadn't suffered from massive brain damage, and she was still alive as far as she knew unless she was having some out of body experience at the moment, but because Roulin felt too real when she hugged him, she doubted it. "Yes, I'm ready," she said wondering curiously where they would be heading next.

Nicko1421
Luca stepped into the Japanese UNS head quarters, his gun slung over his shoulder he looked up to see some of the more famous members of the UNs and a few members already there. "Looks like I'm a little late." He said as he stepped in. He took a seat looking at Will De Scythe, the infamous Satan Owl. He began thinking about the files he was given about the Satan Owl.
'Name: William De Scythe, aka: Satan Owl
Owl Manifestation: Corrosive black lightning, highly deadly avoid at all costs.
Typical fighting style: Cold and sharp, however he enjoys playing with the people he fights rather than killing them right away. Very characteristic of the stories of Satan.
Family: None known, Dante was his successor, however was killed by Thomas aka: Death Owl.'

He reached into his pocket and pulled out a coin, he flicked it in the air, caught it and repeated the process. The soft chiming sound rang in his ears. He watched Will tap Torok on the shoulder and mention somethnig to him, but Luca didn't have superhuman hearing so he had no idea what they were talking about. He looked around at the other two, the information on them was less abundant mostly because they were new members, just like himself. But he preferred to stay out of the spotlight, he liked being the best at what he did, not the most well known.

((UNS - Will - No problem, Nicko. I'll just assume Luca sat down on a rock, if that's okay with you.))

Will nodded to acknowledge Luca's presence as Luca arrived and took a seat. After he whispered to Torok, he glanced over at the Chain Gun Owl. "I trust the prison watch went well?" Though it was in a form of a question, the Satan Owl did not really mean it as a question. It was spoken more as a statement. However, at that moment, Vincent decided to raise his voice for absolutely no reason.

Solaris Beauty
Vincent looked at William with a blankstare. He couldn't believe that Daryle had greeted Will like that. He looked at Will before he would take off once again for Tokyo. "Why do you treat people who work for you so bad?" he asked bluntly. He wasn't afraid of Will, in fact Vincent had developed fear of no man or woman.

"Why do you treat people who work for you so bad?" Why indeed? Now, where had Vincent gotten that? Even if Vincent had heard what Will whispered so softly to Torok, it didn't mean that Vincent knew exactly what Will meant....unless Vincent has heard what Will had said to Itachi before Vincent and Daryle arrived. Either way, it didn't really make sense. Will had just literally offered them room and board as well as entertainment. Clearly, that was "treating people bad." The Satan Owl ignored Vincent as Torok began the assault on Daryle and the whole room was effected.

hunter-the wanderer
Stuff that happened between Torok and Haka's Daryle

Torok's ability did not truly affect Will. The Satan Owl instilled fear in others, not fear in himself. As such, there was no reaction from Will besides a smirk. It was a good little lesson for the UNS members. He could feel the smile on Torok's face and how the man seemed to enjoy "tormenting" others. Daryle's reaction was quite the entertainment as the Breezy Owl acted seriously as if his own life was on the line. Rather, it was something he considered even more important than his life. From his reactions and what Will knew of Daryle, it could only mean his child and his child's mother.

Amaya in the meantime was beginning to feel fear as one of Torok's side effects. She began to shiver slightly and made a move to clutch Itachi's arm, not realizing that he could be going through one of his fears and nightmares too. However, she did not end up making contact with him as she faltered slightly and managed to regain her balance.

It was a good thing that they were outside. If this were actually in the UNS Tokyo headquarters building, Daryle's ability may have torn the room apart and caused some rubble to fall. That wind, as strong as a hurricane, crashed toward Torok. Because it was wind and a hurricane, the other people in the room had to be affected. Will was standing by Torok, so he was blown back slightly. Torok, for some reason, seemed fine, but perhaps that was because Daryle regained his senses and lightened the hurricane to a soft breeze relatively quickly....or maybe Torok flew off into the wall without anyone seeing it. If Daryle could see Will, he would noticed what could perhaps be a pleased look on Will's face, one that Daryle has seen before during his employment as one of Will's negotiators.

NeophantomX
Itachi got anoyed and then he got angry as Torok tried to pout fear in his head and the others as he used his powers on Daryle again. Itachis body lit on fire for a moment to catch attention as it occured to him that amaya may also feel the growing fear, which itachi was so far immune to due to training with will which pretty much made feeling fear again very very hard. What did one expect when training with the devil of course. " Enough torok fighting amonst ourselves will get us nowhere and lucien would not want us killing each other over something like being told to do this by will of all people." said itachi he was no fool he knew what Will told him. The ground below itachi then suddenly glowed red hot and was instaqntly turned into a hole of molten lava as the ground was completly melted allthough it had no effect on the heat owl itachi as he was immune to the effects of heat and temperature. He then took a couple steps forward before speaking again. " If you ever do that again while amaya is close enough to be effected besides being in a REAL battle I will personally kill you myself where you stand I will protect my wife no matter what." said itachi with a extremly icy and frightening tone that he seemed to have developed after training with will for so long and only used when protecting amaya his wife. It seemed will was definitly rubbing off on him now.

In the midst of fear, Amaya suddenly saw a bright flash. It was Itachi. She also heard Itachi speak rather angrily. She looked at him and blinked. She placed a hand on Itachi's arm, narrowly missing . "Don't say that Itachi..." she said softly. "Didn't you just say we're a team?"

Will looked at Itachi, noting the hole of molten lava. He was clearly overreacting. The smirk melted away from his face for the moment as he matched Itachi's tone and surpassed the iciness in Itachi's voice. Itachi could never match Will there, among other things. "Stand down, Itachi. None of you will be killing each other while I'm here."

"That's just it! Neither of those two were my friends! The girl I don't even know. The guy is Roulin from the Night Owls. He wasn't even a friend when I was with the UNS." Anya replied, looking over at Nikolai like he was talking crazy talk. "He was one of the enemies last I knew of him." Anya looked away from Nikolai then. Thinking. She had no idea why she had bothered to stay here to wait and see if those two were okay or not. She hardly knew either of them. Anya let out a sigh and stood up and started pacing back and forth.

When Nikolai started mentioning making up an alias for her, Anya stopped walking and looked back over at him. "Are you being serious? Suggesting Nikita? I'm not some character out of a TV show, Nik! Besides, haven't we discussed this whole alias thing before? I decided I wanted to be called either Rain or Amy if I saw anyone I recognized."

"Alright then. Let's get out of here." Roulin passed through the door into the hallway where the medical staff still stood in shock and awe. His father's side of him arose once again when he grinned at their confusion. For an island full of Owls, they hadn't seen much. Before passing into the stairwell to exit the current floor, he pointed a finger at a stack of paper and manipulated them into forming a large origami crane. A gift for taking care of the both of them in their time of dire need.

The two had finally entered the staircase and were now leaving the fifth floor. The first floor was their destination. In the empty silence of the stairwell, Roulin decided to speak to Cecilia about the transpirations of the past few hours. "It's events like these that have made about five other temps give up this job. If you, Cecilia, want to quit, let me know now so I won't have to fill out paper work for you when I get back. If not, let's start your next job with you telling me what you think about all of this." Roulin turned the corner and lightly stepped down another flight to reach the fourth floor. "What did you think of our Herald friend and Mr. Lucien?"

((TFP= Danny))

Danny left raven after the incident, knowing he had been given free rein to wreak as much havoc on the citizens as he desired, so he simply left the group to find his own means of destruction. After Raven's display it was not hard for him to find the surplus of corpses among the rubble, but several of the bodies were not in good enough shape for him to work. sighing as he managed to salvage three corpses from the debris he shrugged as he figured he might as well make some more while he was here. this is the point of all this after all right? he thought to himself keeping the dog along with the three bodies walking with him while he tried to scout out more dead.

there was a slight scream ahead of him as he heard a human shouting for some help. it had apparently been caught up in the rubble but unfortunately left alive since Raven had left.
"Oh Thank god, Please get me out of here!" the female gasped as she caught sight of Danny and he balked slightly debating weather she should run or not before she let out another startled gasp, "No, no Please dont go, help me! help me get out of here" she said in panic nearly in tears, and Danny felt his heart jump slighly, Should i help her? she is alive what if she comes to hurt me after i help her? what harm could it do it is half dead after all? perhaps we can help it out of its misery... the voices in Danny's head became more alien as he thought about it and the corpses slowly walked up to him as he debated, looking directly at him as if they shared some of the voices. the woman let out another of her piercing shrieks as the dead approached and Danny was distracted as he himself added his own voice to hers. suddenly the canine corpse lunged at her and she was silenced as it clasped its rotting muzzle over her throat. Well that was easy he thought slowly feeling the presence of her corpse. taking control he found the body to be in relatively nice condition despite being pinned. silently he moved the other three bodies to remove the woman's corpse from the rubble and then continued on his walk down the street not knowing where he was headed, only thinking of getting to higher ground before the city was flooded as Raven had ordered.

(( Haha thanks Scythe, you're a life saver! ))

Luca looked up at Will, he had never had extended conversation with Will, but that was to be expected he wasn't actually a member of the UNS just a hired gun. "It went about as well as one can expect." He said with a small laugh. "Riot here and there, and a bullet to put them down." He looked up at Vincent as he voiced his opinion. "He's the Satan Owl, epitome of all that is cold and heartless were you expecting compassion and understanding? If you want the best teacher you will swallow your pride and listen to whatever they have to say." he learned that first hand when he was in the training facilities. He looked at them spar, he could see the tension between some of the UNS members, he found it a little uncomfortable that such a well organized company had suh a laxed version of cooperation.

Cecilia stared at Roulin in disbelief as they walked down the flights of stairs. Did he really just ask her if she wanted to quit? "You clearly don't know me very well yet, Rou. I don't plan on ever giving up until this entire war is over. I don't care if I am brought to the brink of death. I will never give up," she said before she began to answer his next question. "I do think the mission could have gone better, but none of us were really counting on a fight and I think that's what threw us off. This was merely supposed to be a negotiations mission." She sighed. "But then again, they can't all be winners. Anyways, to be honest with you, Sakura was the first Herald I've ever met. I've only heard of them through what I've read in books about them. I'm not sure if the books are correct. I read that they control the Earth's ecosystem and all that other stuff. But that's all I know. I definitely didn't trust Sakura. I know she did help us, but still...she is a Herald, but then again, they can't all be bad, can they? As for Lucien, I'll be honest with you, the thought of him cutting open a person's head and touching their brain to obtain their power really creeps me out beyond belief. I just hope he doesn't decide to come after me. I quite like my head intact," she said laughing lightly in order to lighten the mood a little bit. "I'm going to take a guess and say that you two used to be friends a long time ago." She had seen it in the way they had spoken to each other back at the hotel.

Roulin hid his smile from Cecilia as he passed from the third to the second floor. Her response was priceless and above all just what he wanted to hear from a temp. Her drive was unlike any of the other individuals who joined and that alone seemed to be enough. His smile faded on the way down. He couldn't speak to her if he did because had he shown it to her, she may have known the question was rhetorical. "I'm happy you want to stick with us. Also, please, don't let anyone strange catch you reading such books. If you know about the Heralds, you know about the Tempanus Wiki, the most important book to Owlkind."

Roulin didn't reply to Cecilia's question about him and Lucien immediately, but instead took his time to think. By this time, they'd reach the bottom floor. From the glass door that lead to the lobby, moans of agony could be heard emanating from the torrent of patients being brought in. Some were covered in blood and others were lucky to have parts to be covered in blood. "Cici, and I hope you don't mind me calling you that, all I can say for now is yes, me and Lucien were friends at one point a long time ago. When we get out of here, I'll explain that and the schism plaguing the Heralds."

Once out of the concrete stairwell, Roulin entered the lobby. He could smell death in the air chased by the strong scent of blood. In this room, he felt a familiar energy. It was far stronger than the people that were being carried in. It was his old enemy Anya. He wasn't aware of her quitting the UNS so to make sure she was alone, he called out. "Anya. If you're in here...well, please be alone! I don't want to have to fight!"
