[RAID] Attack on Rocket

Whether she was delirious from lack of sleep or otherwise, Tymiko seemed to have trouble distinguishing the situation from a regular battle between any other normal group of trainers. She called out Distance to join her peeved father before pointing at the enemy pokemon and giving orders with the air she had when playing pirate captain.

The desert was like a sea, the other trainers were like her crew, and the sandstorm in her mind was a riveting hail storm of epic proportions. They were taking on an enemy ship and they could not afford to lose lest they be swallowed up by the cruel ocean.

"Distance, Sand-Attack that Delibird!" She instructed, pointing in Rocket 5's direction. "Fathom, use Aurora Beam on that Dunsparce. Quick, before it disappears into the sand or the van!"

Closer to the van, a sea serpent second Steelix emerged from the sand dunes, appearing rather weak but hungry. It squinted at the vehicle before slithering over slowly.

Rosie nodded "Yeah, Thank you." in a light tone, she glanced around when he made a sound and started looking around. "What is it?"
She asked, pushing herself up.

A lot of things happened from that point, some sounds of pain, some people yelling back and forth.
then the familiar call of Sera "Sera! We're over here! follow my voice." She called back,

Letting the Raichu down, eventually the air was starting to clear, not a while lot but it cleared up enough to let them see shapes.
And it seemed like the Rockets were making a run for it again.
"Kiss, Perdy, I need you two to get back in there and stop as many as you can."

Rocket 2 Would find himself being the aim of a Thunder Bolt With some control, Kiss Kiss didn't want to overdo it.

Rocket 6 the Rocket running away was caught in Perdy's eye, the Pidgeot swooped down, throwing his feel out the last second to try and snatch the human from the ground.

Pop pushed herself to her feet letting out a huff and giving up on the stinging of her wounds.
cracking her knuckles she looked over at Greal who was watching the shadows of the Rockets.
Greal told her.

crouching low, she hopped up high only the Sawsbuck's back, the large beast leaping forward to try and chase the humans down and beat them to the van.
Using his Nature Power again, he aimed his Earchquake on the Van this time, trying to sink it into the earth as much as it could go.

Luke turned his head towards the familiar sound of Sera's voice and raised his own to respond, "Over here!" That wasn't very helpful, though, given that the best view he had of much of anyone was vague outlines, and with a frown he released Leste - he felt much more comfortable letting her out now that the immediate threat had passed - and gave her a passing command, "See what you can do about this sand?" Nodding, the green and white bird directed a Whirlwind at the renewing battlefield, attempting to clear the air and restore a reasonable distance of visibility.

"Uh," he looked to Rosie at her question, a mix of embarrassment and concern in his features, "Rem is out there somewhere… She was out when the sand wall hit." He hoped the Whirlwind would reveal her.

[Dove, Dith]
The Dustox was ill-prepared to deal with the Typhlosion's Flamethrower and fluttered to the ground in distress, its colorful wings burning steadily as it flopped about in effort to extinguish itself. It achieved its goal through the aid of Viktor's Psychic, effectively knocked out by the super-effective combination and smouldering pitifully in the sand. Its Leafeon partner stepped up to fill in, blowing out a long, sweet, GrassWhistle at Sparky.

The trainee cried out fearfully as he was Wrapped in Jeeves' vines, falling to the ground as he stumbled over himself. His Eevee was batted aside easily by Moriko's efforts, not yet accustomed to battling. It knew that its trainer was in trouble, though, and pushed to its feet, bounding over to Bite the vines in an attempt to free him.

Vince
The driver - forced into the role of a mechanic without really knowing how to fix anything mechanical - blinked his eyes foggily as the earth was cleared from his face. "Huh, wha…?"

The grunt yelped and fell backwards into the sand as a Thunderbolt struck him, leaving a surging tingliness he had never experienced before. He shook his head vigorously in an effort to clear his temporarily blurred vision, pushing slowly and unsteadily to his feet.

Perdy's target stared in brief bewilderment at the approaching Pidgeot before frowning harshly as though having made a decision she had not wanted to make. A pokeball was pulled from her side as the claws descended on her, and she released an Umbreon into the bird's grasp to defend herself.

Dove watched as Sparky and the espeon were able to take down the dustox, nodding before calling out to the typhlosion again. "Good, Sparky! Now take out the leafeon!"

The typhlosion swiveled to look at his trainer a half moment as another pokemon was called to her side, the Rapidash he had befriended through their training, and he nodded before turning his head back to the eeveelution and covering his ears at the first instinct as it attempted to lull him to sleep with its note. Shaking off the attack, as he had been able to block most of it, the fire type released yet another flamethrower toward the enemy 'mon. (Rocket 1)

More sand? Really? More? The Lampent huffed angrily at the sand being thrown its way by two separate pokemon, its accuracy lowering before it countered shooting a ball of light towards Velencia, the orb weaving back and forth in a dizzying manner in a Confuse Ray. Almost as soon as the Lampent unleashed its move, it was struck almost simultaneously by two more attacks from a Haunter and a Liepard. While it wobbled in the air due to the pair of super effective attacks, it somehow managed to survive them.

The Agent (Rocket 5) stumbled a bit as something ran between his legs, but thankfully remained upright and continued to sprint towards the operable van.

Once attacked with Fire Fang by an Arcanine, the Dodrio stumbled back, its three heads screeching in unison. However, it stood its ground despite its injuries from the battle earlier, aiming a Tri Attack at Link.

Fortunately for Yuri, and unfortunately for his target, her movements were sluggish as the effects of the Thunder Wave hadn’t fully worn off, and she was too slow to dodge the taser Yuri shot at her. With a shrill cry, the girl tumbled to the sand, paralyzed yet again. This was just not her day.

A sudden Aurora Beam struck the Dunsparce, and though it hurt, it was still okay for now. The pokemon bounced angrily a bit before it disappeared underground in preparation for a Dig attack, though with so many pokemon around, it wasn’t clear what opponent it was targeting.

Seeing a golden Steelix behind them, Claire aimed and released her dark Charizard nearby. With a vicious roar, the fire-type lunged for Aquamarine, his jaws opened wide as a powerful Flamethrower spewed forth towards the temporary steel-type.

Graelhorn and Pop would suddenly find their path blocked as an albino Typhlosion dove in the way to intercept them, taking the brunt of the Earthquake attack meant for the van to protect it. The pink flames around his neck growing brighter as fire suddenly burst out from him in an Eruption aimed specifically at Graelhorn. Pop, too, would find herself a target as a Lucario jumped up behind the pair, both pokemon intent on stopping any from getting to the van, and the dual-type aimed a Force Palm at the rabbit pokemon.

Not waiting for an invitation or to be attacked first, a Pikachu jumped to one side to join in, aiming a Thunderbolt at Perdy to aid his owner’s teammate in her escape (Rocket 6). Joining her teammate, a purple and white Jirachi floated up to get a better view before focusing on Zla and aiming a Psychic attack at the ghost. Fathom, meanwhile, would find a Pidgeot baring down on him with an Air Slash.

"Tighten. Keep that Wrap up." Lin told Jeeves, flatly, satisfied that the grass type had managed to Wrap Rocket 4.

He, meanwhile, stayed atop Moriko, looking down at the Eevee as it attempted to free the trainee.
Jeeve's flinched, allowing the Wrap to loosen, though he had his orders to continue.

"Moriko, Double Kick the Eevee."

With Sparky's orders given,the girl turned to the Rapidash and forced herself up onto its back again, requiring speed now over brute strength. Thierry toed the earth, ancy as he listened for his trainer's call. "We need to stop them from getting to the van, Thierry. Can you get us there first?"

With a snort, the Rapidash nodded and set off, picking up speed at an easy pace and hoping his trainer would do her best to stay on as he moved toward the van. His first priority was her safety, his second her wish.

There was a bit of satisfaction from Yuri at seeing the Rocket crumple to the ground from the taser. After all, one of their ranks had done the same to him.

Removing the now useless cartridge from the taser and tossing it aside, Yuri pocketed the gun itself and continued to run towards the van.

That's when he spotted Rocket 5 stumbling towards it, attempting to tackle the guy to the ground.

Link meanwhile, howled as the Tri-Attack from the Dodrio hit. Faring better than Repede had and leaping at the bird in a Take Down.

Weak as it was, Aquamarine the fake Steelix barely noticed the Charizard and for a split second wondered if that was the same damn lizard that had Fissured her earlier. Hell no. She dove underground using Dig to escape the flames, but not without getting badly burned. Time for another little nap.

"Por!" Barking out a cry of indignation, Fathom ducked down, his attack interrupted by the over-sized chicken slashing at him from above. It raked at his body, but he did his best to dart out of range, turning his Aurora Beam on the Pidgeot instead.

Delighted at having found someone in need. Larry let out a triumphant, metallic sounding, "Aroo" before promptly clamped his mouth on the collar of his newly discovered rescuee and began struggling to drag his body to the surface. After nudging the Driver/Mechanic onto the surface, Larry quickly whipped around to find out where his trainer was. Immediately after doing so however, he was blasted by the force of Grael's Earthquake which was directed toward the nearby vehicle. Due to the double super effectiveness, Larry was severely injured by this and collapsed onto the ground. However, as he was not directly hit by the attack he managed to survive, although barely. Larry began to use the rest of his strength to dig underground to escape but then remembered the poor man who he had rescued was exposed to the attacks. With as much speed as his little legs could carry him, Larry made his way in front of the man and used Protect in an effort to shield both the man and himself from the area effects of the more powerful attacks these poke'mon were using.

Andre was getting real tired of these Rockets and their Confuse Rays. Did they not see that those were dark pokemon that were likely to go berserk when confused?

That...was not his problem right now. Velencia would be able to handle herself until he got Fraener going. Scanning the surrounding area for a good place to let his other pokemon out, he spotted Vince standing alone not too far to his right. Without a second thought for his Espeon, he quickly strode over to the dark haired man. "It probably isn't safe to be by yourself right now." He said, his tone relaxed, as if they weren't currently engaged in battle. "Please, try not to make any sudden movements while Fraener is around." He said pleasantly, holding up the Charizard's pokeball. With a bright flash of light, said pokemon emerged with a deafening roar. "Fraener, Shadow Claw on the Lampent. Go." The dark pokemon spun, swinging its tail with the intention of knocking down the two humans before flying off to do as he was bid. Luckily for them, Andre had anticipated this and with a hand to Vince's head, got them both out of the way so they wouldn't lose their heads. "...He is always so cranky when I first release him." He sighed.

Velencia shook her head, her vision swimming. That didn't slow her down though. With a growl she thought she was aiming Confusion at the Lampent, but turns out she was really aiming at Rocket 5.

Luna and Viktor nodded to one another and moved on, focusing now on the Lucario attacking Pop and repeating their Helping Hand and Psychic comb on the steel and fighting type.

The combination of Zla and Teazer was now looking rather shaky on the former half; despite the potion he had been given just before the storm a Psychic from an elite trainer's legendary all but floored him in one hit. Sensing that he wouldn't be up much longer he turned towards the golden Pidgeot (Claire) he recalled from previous meetings and launched a Toxic attack at her. Even if he went down now, which he thought he probably would, he had done something of use. He hoped.

Teazer wasn't best pleased at her attack partner splitting off and with a little hiss she broke away from the Lampent, moving to strike the Dodrio instead with a sharp Pay Day as a follow up to Link's Take Down.

Seeing the approaching Flamethrower, the Leafeon accelerated into a Quick Attack to escape the path of the threat, vaulting itself at the Typhlosion with the intend to cling to its body.

Seeing the trainer and Rapidash combination starting towards the van, Rocket 6's Delibird gave an indignant chirp and tossed another Present, this one containing an explosion.

Feeling the vines loosen slightly, the trainee began squirming in an effort to escape them. The Eevee dug its teeth into its hold in another Bite, wrenching its eyes shut and holding fast through the brutal assault of kicks.

[Vince]
The Rocket man sat up groggily as he was tugged free of the earth, raising a hand to his forehead. He quickly recovered his wits at the side of the approaching threat, throwing his arms up in front of his face with a girlish scream. When he caught sight of the Protect used in his defense, however, he relaxed slightly. "Whaa... Jeez... Thanks, little guy."

AHA! It slowed him down!
Proud of herself the Raichu threw her hands in the air, then pulling herself up she tried her Sing on the slowed Rocket

Ah, well, That certainly wasn't the target he had been aiming for, finding an Umbreon in his grip rather than a human.
With a curious chirp the Pidgeot blinked, then with a beating of his wings the bird hit the air again with blinding speeds, But the sudden attack of a Thunderbolt came cracking up to him.
Letting out a startled squawk, Perdy let go of the Umbreon, tossing it in the way of the attack.

Pop Let out a cry when she was attacked, and knocked right off of Greal's back and onto the ground, just as a eruption of flame took over the grass type.
Greal let out a bellow of pain trying to jump out, but didn't last long before he had collapsed on the ground, fainted.

Weakened and gasping for breath around the pain of the super affective move, Pop shot a glare up at the attacking pokemon. Well, that sucked, any hope in winning this fight would be if her Cute Charm worked on this idiot.

Sparky growled as the leafeon dodged his attack and braced himself as it darted toward him, catching it as it clung to him and attempting to slam it into the ground, his body bursting into an intense flame in a powerful Overheat.

Dove and Thierry, meanwhile continued their burst toward the vans, the Rapidash letting a long whinny as it darted off course, nearly throwing the girl from his back as he dodged the present, picking up his pace with agility. Just barely singed by the flames of the explosion, the girl cling to the horse's neck, willing him onward.
