Backstage had contained a man full of wisdom, and riches. Ethan Carter the Third. Something had been incredibly fantastic about last week's iMPACT show. There were many factors that made the show grasp at everyone's attention, but there was only one, the it factor that had stood out. It was EC3. Yes, you could say it was debatable, but no one out there put out the hell of a show like he did. Frantic, he was in the back, thinking about his rematch with Randy Orton. He had been stressing out, tugging at his hairs, last week he proved a statement to the TNW:R Universe.

EC3 had to keep his image, his image of ruthlessness, he could not let anyone think that he was just a 'fluke'. Not again. Tonight, it's not gonna be like before, because this is the night he is given a chance to touch the gold with his own fingertips. There was no way he could let his opportunity slip through his hands, as it had happened to him one too many times. Techies did their thing with the buttons to que his music, he swallowed as much air as he could before passing through the curtains to soothe down his nervousness.

When he reached the main stage, he was greeted with a bright lens flare that was pointed straight at his pupils, he moves his head from left to right to see the audience break out in mixed reactions. Dragging his oiled body through the ramp, he masked himself with an expression of seriousness as he made his way towards the ring. Reaching the end, he would have obviously slid in and made himself comfortable at the nearest corner as he fixed his hair and stretched certain muscles in his body as he waited for his second time opponent, Randy Orton.

 

[The Viper Orton]

Randy Orton sits idle by the curtains, taking in a few breaths. The cue director leans over and notions Randy of the 15 second mark. He begins to prep himself, more mentally than physically as he waited on for his theme to be played.


Tension rises over the crowd, the only thing you can hear now is the sound coming from the few conversations taking place in the sold out arena. Everybody is on their feet, kids are starring with eyes wide open already captivated with the experience. Old wrestling heads are even more excited. The world freezes for about 15 seconds... I Hear Voices In My Head, They talk to me they understand, They talk to me! (Buy "Voices" by Jim Johnston HERE) blasts over the Public Address system. Everyone instantly started yelling, more yells rooted Randy on than opposed him. Randy Orton waited a few moments before bypassing the curtain and stepping onto the stage where he greets 50,000 people with his presence.

The Viper stops at the top of the stage and glares over the crowd, his eyes seem to capture the moment. He slowly starts his trout down from the stamp and onto the ramp, continuing his venomous stare. He walks with a swagger that only he could pull off, it sends chills down the people's spine.

From St. Louis, Missouri, Weighing in at 245 pounds, he is The Viper. . . Randdyy Orrrtonnn!

After hearing his name being addressed, he rotates his head cracking his neck showcasing his this swagger shortly after continue on his path towards the ring. Once he made it to the end of the ramp and slowly turned and walked backwards to the staircase before proceeding up them and going in between the ropes. Once he's inside the ring he takes a second to relax and soak in the moment. Thousands and thousands chanting his name and now he was the center of attention because everyone was able to see him inside the ring. His motions come back to life as the Apex Predator walks his way to the turnbuckle and climbs it. Where he stares out into space before throwing up his legendary taunt. . .






The Viper leaps down from the turnbuckle and staggers back to his corner while his theme fades from the PA. The crowd becomes more vivid. The Viper stands coldy ready to strike his opponent.

Ethan Carter would whisper a few words into the referees ear before heading back to his corner to glare at Orton whom was on the other side, he rolled his head around and began to hype himself up by jumping up and down before the bells rung

 

[The Viper Orton]

Orton stood in his corner, eyes stuck on Ethan Carter having flashbacks to this previous bout in which EC3 came out on top after falling victim to two of his finishing maneuvers. He wanted to payback, The Viper wanted blood.

The three bells had tolled as Ethan left his corner, he made space between him and Orton as he walked around the ring with his eyes on him.

 

[The Viper Orton]

Orton would clearly prove to be the aggressor in the match, as he felt he had unfinished business with the dazzling newcomer. But he mimicked EC3, circling the ring, easing towards him.

Ethan would move towards Orton, going to start this match off with a collar-and-elbow tie up, very traditional.

 

[The Viper Orton]

Randy Orton would accept the tie-up, but quickly swaying away from the traditional ways of things by throwing a shot at EC3's abdomen.  

[Ethan Carter lll]

Ethan would be caught with the shot, breaking from the tie up and favoring his abdominal region, bending a bit.

 

[The Viper Orton]

Following the shot, Orton wouldn't allow any hesitation in his arsenal following it up with a strong knee to Carter's jaw.

EC3's upper body would shoot up after being hit by the knee to the jaw. Although he didn't fall down, he stayed on his shaky feet holding onto his lower jaw

 

[The Viper Orton]

Randy Orton was set on taking out Ethan Carter, wasting no time rushing towards the upcoming superstar with a strong clothesline! Which would result in him tumbling over the ropes.
