This is why I love the set designers in Supernatural. They pay attention to tiny details.

Castiel is based of the angel Cassiel, keeper of the dolphins.

In Castiel’s personal heaven, there is a dolphin balloon, clearly representing the angel Cas is based off of.

Haha... I didn't even know that tidbit about Cassiel. That's pretty awesome!
