Merem walked through the forest, "This place doesn't seem all that wonderful, huh?" He said, hugging Miranda to his chest. He had stocked up on food in the last town so at least Miranda wouldn't starve.

Miranda looked around, she was on edge in this place. She looked at Merem, hearing him talk often made it easy to make connections between words. She wondered if they were going somewhere.

"This place looks a bit dangerous, but no worries," Merem said. He gave Miranda a little piece of dried meat, "Tasty huh?"

Miranda took the meat happily, she squeaked, easily made happier with the meat. She was curious, and part of her wanted to explore this area, especially since she could hear things moving aorund.

Merem smiled to her and sat down in a small clearing, secluded from predators, "I wonder how big you're supposed to get?" He pondered, watching the dragon eating.

Miranda pulled the meat apart, eating happily once Merem sat down. She looked at Merem, wondering if he was ever going to eat.

"Don't worry about me little one. Go ahead," Merem said. Blood was his diet even though he drinks little.

Miranda finished the meat, she went to lay down next to Merem. Miranda was still a little bit tired.

(Those chapters do not exist. There's talk of a Tsukihime 2 coming out but that has been on the plate for years now)

"Go to sleep little one. I'll protect you," Merem said.

Miranda looked at Merem for a little bit before laying her head back down and dozing off.

(The person who wrote the story for Tsukihime was very thorough. The storyline mentions constantly the 27 Dead Apostles. The series only actually reveals one(Nero Chaos). Melty Blood series shows another one(TATARI. Yes with caps. You'd understand if you heard him...). Merem is another one that's mentioned in the art book. His picture is there along with his four summons)

Merem gently petted his friend and looked at his surroundings.

a dark grey and white wolf of an un-natural type quickly darts through the area as if being chased after by something though it is not, the wolf slows down his pace as ahead of him someone or something rest's, Vilks starts to sneak closer watching his footing as the precence he detects is a strange one to him, as he gets closer vilks see's an unfamiliure creature to him then again he is in a unfamiliure place, >Snap< a twig snaps and makes a sound loud enough for merem to hear, Vilks drops down staying close to the ground trying to remain hidden hoping there more friendly then hostile as they look

Merem looked over when he heard the sound. He knew from past experiences that wolves were often passive. Maybe not when they are alone but in a group they are relatively friendly. He watched quietly, letting the wolf go if it wanted to. He didn't have any way of defending himself or Miranda short of his summons, which usefullness in this situation spans from completely useless to overkill with no middle grounds.

vilks poked his head up with his ears pricked up after a few seconds and froze when he realised he was being directly looked at, his ears droping flat, he knew he had been found but oddly didnt understand why he was not being rushed or yelled at as it was far differant from previous incidents that had occourd but maybe this was differant, vilks looks to the ground as he somewhat sighs befor getting up and standing in full visible sight, looking right back at merem he nods his head as a gesture of his precence befor doing anything else, vilks just watch's to see what happens next...
