Gears of War - Defending Jacinto (Finished)

And luckily for Naro, that's where Soqed was. She was busy working on a comatosed Gear, mostly pulling off old bloody bandages and putting new ones on his injuries. She didn't even seem to notice Naro entering the hospital.  

[Zahzi]

Naro merely leaned against a wall once he was in the same room.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Naro..." Soqed groaned, sighing heavily, catching sight of him out the corner of her eye. "Why won't you leave me?"  

[Zahzi]

"There was a time my sister acted the same way when our parents died..." Naro said, staring at the ground.
"She cried for three days straight...It would have been worse had I not been there..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"But I'm not your sister and it's not my parents who are dead." Soqed grunted, keeping herself busy on the fallen Gear. "I am some woman you hold feelings for, and now you're going to die just like all the others before you. And having you around does not make it easier, especially when I take into consideration your missing sister."  

[Zahzi]

"I can assure you, I'm not going to die like some rookie..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Soqed then reached into her pocket, holding the tags in one hand out for Naro to see.
"They promised the same thing."  

[Zahzi]

"Unlike them, I can back it up."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Soqed then moved her fingers around, pulling some of the tags over her hand, leaving four of the twelve hanging.

"Theodore, Andrew, Max and Ray said that too."  

[Zahzi]

"Let's not forget a locust has yet to get past my armor."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Everything has a weak point, a soft underbelly.."  

[Zahzi]

Naro gave a chuckle.
"Trust me, I've tried."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"And they'll try harder." Soqed grunted, stuffing the tags back in her pocket.  

[Zahzi]

"Yes...While they're being burned ALIVE..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"You're being awfully casual about dying." Soqed said with a growl, finally looking up to glare at him.
