Sleeping soundly retsu rolled over in his sleep. He had a peaceful dream, having a smile on his face. Dreaming of after the war, was something that hardly ever came into retsu head.

Hideki quietly thought to herself about what Aura had told her earlier..."Retsu was free..." She smilied quietly to her self but she felt useless at the same time.

Retsu awoke from his sleep, he got up stretched his arms over his head and yawn. Looking over to see Hideki he smiled
"Hey havent seen you in awhile."

Hideki looked at Retsu and smiled. She ran over and hugged him.

Retsu put his arms around her and hugged her back. He looked straight into her eyes. "Where have you been, I have been worried sick about you."

Hideki shivered in Retsu's arms. "I...I can only remember being in the dark..." she said quietly. "I don't ever want to be there again..." She said with tears in her eyes, smiling. "I don't ever want to forget you..."

Retsu held Hideki tight in his arms trying to comfort her. "Its ok its ok, I am here and your not going to go back there. Not while your with me you wont. I promise."

Hideki looked up at Retsu smiling, and kissed him on the lips. "Aura told me, she told me that you're free..." She said smiling.

Retsu nods "It was a hell of a struggle. But I managed to gain control of the curse's power and then break my fathers sword. That broke the curse he placed on me." He looks down remembering the fight "I couldnt kill him though he fled, and if it wasnt for you I wouldnt have been able to do it."

"During the fight Aura yelled at me and said your name. It broke me from the trance I was in. I still had the power of the curse, but I was controlling my actions. Instead of continuing to fight Aura and Kiero I turned my attention to ColdEye." Retsu looked disappointed "But he got away."

Hideki blushed and carassed Retsu's face in an effort to comfort him. "Just be glad that your safe..."she said quietly. "Aura did the same thing for me too, I almost forgot everyone including you...but she reminded me of you." Hideki said.

Retsu smiled knowing that he wasnt forgot. "We are safe for now, ColdEye wont be bothering us again anytime soon."

Hideki put her head against Retsu's chest. She could here his heart beating. "I hope you're right Retsu-kun..."
