You both make me sad.

There are few really, really good books.
the majority of them are just plain, or just crap. Full of either flat and boring characters or overly round characters-- the majority of the time being the latter. Anticlimactic plots and/or overused storylines, horrible love stories/scenes and clichéd characters.

      Most books suck D;

But, there are a few that were fabulous.

I find Sturgeon's Law to be a horrible reason to dislike something. Most of everything sucks.

Yeah, well its true then isn't it? xD

Yeah, but why only apply it to books? The vast majority of video games suck, so why call yourself a video game fan?

The difference is the experience, not the total.
You're taking it out of context and trying to manipulate it.
That's dumb.

      Touché.

Games don't require me to sit down holding a book and staring at words for two hours. In video games, at least you have SOME control of what happens, of what doesn't. In books, your only option is to read, or not.
If the book sucks, theres no way to make it not suck.
If a game sucks, you restart and name your character "MYPUSSY" and giggle at the little dialogue there is.

Okay, that makes more sense. I'll have to agree to disagree with you on your opinion of books, then.

That approach to improving games definitely works. It makes me hate games that have you name the file and then never use the name, though.

O look at that.
I was ignored because I was right.

I read the reason they changed Namingway's vocations in the DS remake of FF4, was due to the included voice acting.

As per his name, he allowed you to rename the player characters.

'you look pretty good tonight,'

Mmm... I'm not likin' the vibe I'm getting from the random guy who PM'd me just now...

How did he find me. I'm discreet. Like a ninja.

Not like a certain one who took his color scheme from a construction worker...
