It's rather fun,but at the same time a bit of a challenge.
You have to make sure that they have all of their needs met and that they're happy.You'll need to potty train them,feed and water them,play with them,keep them groomed,and a few other things.
If you get a puppy,you'll need something for them to teeth on and that they have that special puppy food(it has something similar to what is in mama milk in it).

Also,I'd wait until you got them fully trained to leave them alone when you have to leave the house.xD;
Also,yes they were my puppies.
The two sisters,Chomper and Baby died from separate illnesses at different years.
Roxanne died from old age at 15.(she was a year younger than I was,in birth years)
I still miss them. sad

I think so,they are canines..
Strangely some dogs have lived past 15,one lady's dog lived up to 17 years,maybe higher before the dog died.o.o;
