Did they like, double what you get for SAT's now or somethingo.o
When I was in high school it was like 1600 was genius or perfect or somethingo.o
For GOds and Devils, these are like my last few days working AND my last 2 weeks of college semester, so posts are going to be slow!

SAT's used to be out of 1800 but they changed it by making out of 2400 and adding an essay.

I had to retake the SAT's now that I'm back in America. My first three exams were 1600's.

Electric Kool-Aid SAT's used to be out of 1800 but they changed it by making out of 2400 and adding an essay. Actually 1600 was a perfect score - 800 each for language and math. I knew a kid from a message board I used to go to that got 1590s and 1600s on all his practice tests, and was freaking out about the test itself. >__> I wanted to punch him. Through the computer.

Other than what I pick up from anime and my Japanese friends, my japanese speaking skills are dismal.
The SAT is now broken as such:
800 - Critical Reading (Comprehension) 800 - Mathematics (Intermediate Algebra+) 800 - Writing (Essays and Grammar)
The 2nd and last time I took the tests, my scores were:
600 (Meh, that's so-so without studying, I guess) 660 (I feel very proud with this part, considering I never looked back to check my answers) 590 (they couldn't just give me the extra 10 points now could they? At least it's better than a 530[yay for illegible hand writing])

i've been trying to teach myself Japanese for like 3 years now... I can't figure out the word order it's so frustrating! gonk
But what i do know is kinda useful...cause when you're in a crowded hallway and shout "WAIT!" or "HEY!" the person you were shouting at tends to not look and everyone else does, but when you shout "MATTE!" and only one other person in school knows what it means it works better...and besides it's so much easier to insult people when they don't know that you are... mrgreen

Good, I'm glad they put in a writing part. It was always frustrating to me to see my peers in college have the writing skills of a ten-year-old.... and sadly, I am not exaggerating.

I actually think its stupid, cause it's so much harder to grade an essay. Which is why I believe screw assignments, it should be just free learning, with a test every few years to figure out if your absorbing it<.<

So, I hate to bother everyone, but if any of you are up to editing a little less than four thousand words sometime this evening (before like... 8/9 central time?), it would be absolutely wonderful.
My two editors I had lined up previously haven't come through for me yet, and the one other person I asked hasn't responded at all. I can't really ask my friends at the same school because they're in the same stress situation as I am... So yeah. This is due tomorrow. It's the beginning of a novel length story. Most of it is pretty polished, but there's still some stuff I'm needing opinions and/or help on and all.
