Kiae quickly let herself in the back door, wrinkling her nose at the dust and disrepair but ignoring it before she started to sneeze. She wanted the attic in case she did have to use the Power - she was unsure what power her angreal held and didn't want to accidentally blow up an inn full of innocent people.

She quickly took note of where her comrades were before drawing in a bit of saidar, enough to heighten her awareness if any weaves were cast or channeling done.

After Chel and Easar were in place, Ethin assumed his position. Not long after, the procession began. At the head were trumpet players announcing the queen's arrival followed by a large regiment of the Saldaean army. Ethin's eyes scanned the men, furiously searching for Erasmus. Soon the queen's personal guard came in to view behind the army. In the center of her guard was the queen herself, waving regally to her people.

Ethin readied himself as the procession stopped for the queen to speak.

Kiae paid little attention to the queen's words, knowing they'd be the same generic ideals spouted repeatedly with little meaning behind them. It was all a ridiculous farce, she thought with a sneer as she moved closer to the window. Erasmus was nowhere in site, nor was anyone else who looked suspicious in the least.

Frowning, the Yellow moved from window to window restlessly, using the Bond to see if anything had happened on the streets out of her line of sight. Ethin was tense but calm and she groaned. "Was this all a farce?" she wondered, anxiety growing.

Esole stood, taking out her fan. She rarely used it since she left Saldaea but found it eased her nerves to twitch it around in the various ways that one could to form messages. Commoners couldn't afford the elegant fans the women of the nobility had so Esole always had the lower quality fans growing up. But now that she was Aes Sedai, she could afford any kind of fan she wanted and made use of it promptly. She refrained from using it outside of Saldaea because it was pointless because outsiders didn't understand.

Esole stopped for a moment to look at the street and stared at it perplexed.

The Yellow wished she had contact with her fellow Aes Sedai Sister, no matter how crazy she drove her, if only because it was beginning to get slightly creepy up in the attic by herself, isolated from the others.
"Perhaps Esole and I splitting up was not such a wise idea," she murmured, more to keep herself assure that she could still hear than anything else. Consequently, she jumped and whirled around in the air when someone coughed politely behind her.
"Speaking to yourself is a sign of madness, Sister," Erasmus said cheerfully. Before she could speak, Kiae found herself wrapped in bonds of Air and pulled to her knees, gagged. "Don't worry, that Green Sister has her own worries to attend to as well. You're both quite unique, you understand, so we may as well take both," he continued cheerfully. He paced slowly around her in a circle, observing her muffled struggle with interest.
"Our trap worked perfectly. You Sisters are all alike, thinking of protecting others and not even trying to keep yourself out of harm's way. Even when I warned you." The man 'tsked', shaking his head as if disappointed.

Esole looked up at Kiae's hiding place and found that she was with someone. "Who is she... Erasmus!" she thought, realizing that Erasmus has gotten to her. She reached for the One Power only to find a Shield was in place. She wheeled around, removing the knife from her skirts in a swift motion, and readied to throw when she felt herself restrained from the neck down by what could only be a bond of Air. "Who in the bloody-" Esole began before a gag of air filled her mouth. The channeler turned her body so that she could see the silhouette of a man dressed in all black. "Blood and bloody ashes! I should have lit a candle so I could have seen their shadow coming!" she thought angrily.

Esole watched as her captor approached. He stopped and stared down at the vanity beside him. His hand stroked the glass jar that was on top of it. He turned his attention from the jar to Esole, almost menacingly - except his face remained unseen so his intention was still unclear. Then he grabbed the jar and smashed it into the side of Esole's head, knocking her unconscious.

Ethin stood warily at the door until a disturbance in the Bond drew his attention. It could only be one thing. "Kiae!" Ethin shouted at the top of his lungs before setting out at run in the direction of the Bond. It brought him to a run down building. He followed the Bond as a guide and he found himself in an attic with Kiae and who he could only assume was Erasmus. "Release her!" he demanded.

Erasmus raised an eyebrow at Ethin's demand, casually flicking a finger in the Warder's direction. Kiae struggled as Ethin dropped to his knees with a groan, having no idea what the man was doing.
"Ah, Warders. They're so annoying and useless. I don't know why you keep them around, to be honest," Erasmus informed her, turning his attention back to Kiae.
"Just a little more..." Fingering behind her back, she finally was able to grab hold of her angreal. Clutching it tightly, she wanted to wait until the last moment to surprise the man, as he would be able to sense her channeling. "Bonds of Air are like Bonds with Warders. I just need to break them right," she reasoned, hoping she wasn't going to get herself killed in the process.
Erasmus kept an eye on Ethin as he moved towards the window, chuckling. "Well, seeing as that feisty little Green proved to be little match, I might as well be getting on. Come along, Sister," he said, slinging her over his shoulder with an ease that belied his slim figure. He was almost to the door when Kiae sucked in as much of saidar as possible as fast as she could, feeling light-headed from so much of the Power in her. It was then she found out what the angreal could do.
"I'm not burning out!" she realized in disbelief, taking in more than she ever had been able to do before. With a vengence, she snapped the bonds of Air that held her and dropped to the ground heavily as Erasmus stumbled back in shock.
"What the...what a surprising ability," he managed, actually appearing worried as he eyed Kiae and Ethin.
"Yes, it is, isn't it?" she growled, blades of Air spinning his way. He barely managed to deflect them and whirled around as they gouged holes in the walls behind him.
"I suppose it's time to retreat, don't want to cause too much of a mess. We want you intact," he warned them, glancing at Ethin one last time before weaving a Gateway behind him. Kiae forced more saidar into her, trying to stop the gate from closing, but it snapped shut just as Erasmus disappeared.
She dropped to her knees, quickly releasing saidar, and gasped for air.

Chel watched as Ethin ran off and became incredibly concerned. He looked at Easar who nodded and the two left their posts and ran to the inn. The two ran up the stairs and into the room with the open door. They found a man looming over Esole's limp body. Chel looked at Easar again for confirmation, the intruder clearly hadn't noticed them. Easar nodded again and the pair charged in, swords at the ready. Chel's went through the man's side while Easar's sliced his neck. The man had one chance to look up at the two before his life ended. He fell on top of Esole with a loud thump.
"I think he may have broken something. Help me get him off," Easar said, grabbing the dead man's upper body while Chel grabbed his lower body and the two tossed him up and off of Esole. Chel lifted her in his arms and headed toward the door.
"Did you see where Ethin went? We must get Esole to Kiae for Healing," Chel asked hurriedly.
"Yes, follow me!" Easar responded, running out the door. Chel followed close behind, making Esole seem as light as a feather. Easar led him to the abandoned building across the street and up the stairs. He found Ethin lying limp on the ground and Kiae slumped over on her knees.
"Kiae! Please! You must attend to Esole. A glass bottle was smashed in to her head and a large man fell on her. I think I heard something crack. Please save her!" Easar begged as Chel came in after Easar huffing and puffing.

Kiae stared at up them, half amazed and half angry beyond all belief. Taking a few deep breaths to try to compose herself, unsure whether she even would be able to do any Healing at the moment, she struggled to her feet and limped over to where Esole's brother held her.
"No wonder the Tower didn't take them as Warders, they're too stupid by far," she thought in aggravation, thinking it would be nice if someone would worry about Ethin on the floor instead of Esole, who had a few cuts and perhaps a bruised rib.
"She's not in any danger of dying, you Light-blasted fool. And if you don't stop yelling at me I'll hang you by your toes out the window with Air," she threatened calmly, quickly delving to find the damage. A broken rib, another bruised, and a few cuts on her face that weren't deep was all that was wrong. Nothing that required immediate Healing, but Kiae had the feeling that if she told them that, they wouldn't listen and she would be forced to drastic measures.
Sighing, and worried about Ethin, she picked up her angreal and drew in saidar once more, not nearly as much as last time, before laying several Healing weaves on Esole. Kiae managed a satisfied smirk as the cuts slowly faded, lines of blood the only sign of any injury. Dismissing the trio, she moved over to kneel by Ethin, checking for any damage and sighing in relief upon finding none, just some bruises.

Esole's eyes fluttered open, the faint moonlight on her face. "Get.. Kiae.. Erasmus.." she muttered, not quite awake.
Chel and Easar knelt at either side of her and held her hands. "It is okay. Erasmus is gone. Kiae is over there," Chel said comfortingly, pointing over at Kiae who was attending to Ethin.
"Thank you," Easar said, turning to Kiae. "She was unconscious when we found her and we didn't know what he had done to her before we got there."

Kiae remained next to Ethin, her hand on his forehead and the Bond wide open to sense any change. She smiled as he stirred and helped him to sit upright.
"I'm fine, Esole. Mostly," she added, wincing at the sharp pain in her sie. "Probably broke something as well when I fell," she mused, but there was no help for it. Esole couldn't Heal her and she couldn't do anything for herself, so she'd have to wait for Esole to recover fully. "Erasmus ran off. He said he wants us intact, so I doubted there was much damage done," she added to her brothers, raising an eyebrow to let them know exactly what she thought of their yelling.

"Are you sure you are okay, Kiae?" Ethin said checking her for any visible injuries. "They went after Esole too?" he asked, confused.

Kiae nodded, pressing her hand to her side to put pressure on the pain a bit. "Yes, they want us both," she said, setting her teeth a bit. It only hurt when she inhaled, so she did her best to breath shallower. "It's a good thing you ran in when you did, Ethin. And you two as well," she added to Esole's brothers.
She got to her feet, forced to use Ethin's shoulder as a brace to stand upright completely. "We should head back to the inn, nothing more will happen tonight. They had their fun," she said shortly, knowing they were all in need of rest.

Ethin put his arm around Kiae to help support her. "She's right, we should go," he said. He looked over and saw that Esole was coming to. "You'll need to help her to the inn. She doesn't look fit to walk," he continued.
Chel and Easar nodded promptly, taking each of Esole's arms and placing it over their shoulders. Her eyes flickered open and closed and her head lolled to the side.
The group limped down to the inn, with the exception of Chel and Easar. Derin was waiting outside when they arrived. As soon as he saw the group, he opened the door and rushed them in.
"What happened?" he asked.

Kiae sat down with a wince and sighed heavily. "Well, the procession went uninterrupted," she remarked dryly, leaning an arm on the table beside her for support. "Erasmus and another channeller attacked us. Thanks to Ethin and Esole's brothers, however, they were unsuccessful," she added, with a nod towards the men who were currently occupied with their sister.

Before anyone could say anything else, the door slammed open and a tall man stormed in, the hood of his Warder cloak revealing bright blue eyes and long blonde hair that was tied back. His clothes were leather and simple cloth, but the two swords at his side and his cloak revealed him to be more than a simple traveler. It only took a second for him to appraise the room before he strode closer and peered at them. He was taller than most, 6'2", and his stance was that of a Warder ready for battle.
"Who here is Kiae Sedai?" he demanded, his eyes resting on the Yellow. "You are, I assume," he continued without waiting for an answer, beginning to move closer.
