[Areashine]

After eating all of that pie, Areashine felt an overwhelming sense of power.

"I will win this race!"

With that, Areashine sprinted ahead.

The crowd was torn between cheering on the sure winner and watching the others to see if they would catch up.

Rogi, after resting for a moment, continued on towards the finish line.

((sorry I didn't roll yesterday. wasn't feeling well and went to bed early.))

Rupel seemed to be halfway between the front runner and everyone else. She kept running and reciting the fortune-cookie numbers, and even though she was passing a place where it looked like there were some zombie slaves of fashion shuffling around with costumes they wanted to shove people into she tried her best to ignore them, and some muffin friends of hers bounced around to distract the zombies away.

Rupel only wore confectionary clothing, anyway. She didn't like "real" fabric, it just wasn't her style.

Areashine heard the murmurs of the crowd. Apparently she was very far behind. She redoubled her efforts and ran faster.

Mere steps from the finish line the crowds swarmed Rooj blocking her way to the finish line. Calling for help her servant Ike rushed into the crowd and began pushing them back to give Rooj some space.

Kair looked up at the giant cookie crumblers and ran back towards the start of the race with the giants chasing after her.

Blue raced hoppingly forward as the cheering of people in black agent suits spurred her on. (The dancing was also quite catchy to be honest)

It looked like the race was almost decided..

"I cannot give up! Winning things is a major part of human culture, I am told!"

The crowd watches with keen anticipation as the race reaches its last legs.

Blue was suddenly hit by an amazing plotline. Which came in a leather-bound book. To the face.
This motivated her to run faster, because it was really interesting and a very good cliffhanger. Kinda hurt a little too..  

[Areashine]

As Areashine was running, she found that she was neck and neck with someone who appeared to be taking pictures of her.

"Ummm...what are you doing?" she asked.

"Your struggle to win this race is such an inspiration. You would make a really good book! Can I interview you?" the strange man asked. He was dressed a person who would interview people would look: tannish trench coat, tannish hat, tall, really all around brown looking, and constantly flashing a flash bulb.

"I'm kinda busy right now," Areashine replied breathlessly, "Could we do this later?"

"Sure can!" the man replied, and he disappeared with the next flash of the bulb.

Areashine really didn't know what to think about that, but she continued running.

Justice meeped. "We need to catch up!" His tail poofed up as he tried to increase his pace. The feline mowled and tried to go the extra mile.

Rupel saw a poor sad puppy, and turned back (just for a moment) to see if she could help the little critter out. He'd got a bee sting in his paw, and Rupel pulled it out and let the puppy lick her shoe a little bit, which seemed to make him feel better, but then he looked like he wanted to take a bite out of her toes! Well, she WAS wearing milk-chocolate slippers, after all.

Fortunately for her, just then something came their way which scared the puppy who went running off away from the race course. The abandoned sheep was running back along the race course toward Rupel, chased by giant cookie crumblers!

NOT GOOD.

Rupel dodged out of the way so she wouldn't be run over by the sheep, and called out a few notes on her whistle to request reinforcements. "Hide behind me!" Rupel called to the sheep as a team of nearly-identical lemon pound cake slices showed up, and threw hot icing at the cookie crumblers. Blinded by icing to the... eyes? -and disoriented, the crumblers started crumbling each other.

Meanwhile, Rupel tried to edge around the carnage to get back on track, hoping the sheep would follow along and get out of the way of immediate danger.

Kair turned with surprise to see the whistle blowing girl helping her and ran after her in desperation. Looking towards the devestated crumblers in surprise.

Rooj and Ike finished clearing a path through all of the crowd and Rooj was about to cross the finish line when she noticed the crumblers and Kair were gone.

"Where did my lamb go?!?" She demanded angrily. Walking back a few spaces in search of it.

Rogi, noticing that almost all was lost, began writing a new string of runes in the air. These runes were not like the ones before, for these runes were not for simple teleporting, but for what he had termed multiple translocation. This, when pulled off without a hitch, would allow Rogi to switch places with an object, but he had never tried it with a human, so he didn't know if it would work.
