Desmond nodded. "He seems like a good brother." He hadn't realized that he hinted that he was still alive, which he wasn't. It was an unconscious choice of wording.

"Yea, he was." she said scratching the
back of her neck. "I really shouldn't let Satoshi's death bother
me so much...." she thought. A leaf soon fell to the top
her head. She picked it off and looked at it.

Desmond smiled then started thinking, his head hurting was a sign of remembering something. "I had a younger brother. Sammy." he thought, it was strange he remembered the name too.

Desmond blinked. "Eight... I think." he explained, still shocked that he knew all of that suddenly. 'Of course I can't remember my last name though. he thought to himself.

"Oh." Tokiko said while standing up and
stretching. "I'm surprised you remember your little bro.".

Desmond nodded. "I actually just remembered it. I remember stuff randomly. It's frustrating because I can't remember what I want to remember." he explained, leaning against the grave behind him.

"Oh, well that's like the exact opposite for me..."
she said rubbing the back of her head and hiding her face
under her hair.

Desmond blinked. "What do you mean?" The main thing he wanted to remember was his last name, maybe he could find his family or something. Of course, someone had to go and scratch out everything but 'Desmond' on his grave.

Tokiko still kept her face hidden. "I don't want to have
any memories about my past....never did.." she said
as her eyes were changing into a dark red color but changed
back to their original color.

Desmond shook his head. "You wouldn't want that. I guarantee you that. If you don't know anything, it's incredibly frustrating."

she protested, and sat back down next to her brother's
grave.

Desmond sighed. "Whatever you say." He wasn't going to bother arguing with her. Not so great at arguing a case. "It's just not fun, okay?"

chest and her chin on top of her knees.
