Reaper glanced at Birth hearing her address him, he let out a sigh and dug into his ear with his pinkie a displeased look crossing his face as his mouth turned up. "Sheesh even now you still nag sister," he said before turning towards her. "My men need to be able to handle themselves, I have no need for weaklings and quite frankly a majority of my forces are gone. I wouldn't mind some stronger men." He turned feeling a presence before seeing Mirela nearby, blinking a few times he turned fully to face her and started walking towards her. "Human! Why do you linger here? I know I'm handsome but you'll die if you stay here too long." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Luck ran around the village looking for Kalan but after awhile he admitted that he got away and let out a small sigh, he opened his pocket watch and rubbed the back of his head. "She won't like this....if only that order wasn't....wait....Reaper!" Luck turned and ran back towards the field, that strange babe was listening to Reaper earlier which meant if he could get Reaper to call off the assassination Kalan would have no reason to avoid them. He ran to the field and started to call for Reaper, his eye twitched seeing Reaper standing in front of Mirela.
Sprinting forward he quickly ran in front of Mirela causing Reaper to lean back. "What are you doing?"
Reaper stared at Luck for a moment and moved him out of the way. "This human came back here, trying to find out why."
"That's not important...well it is but anyway, Reaper you command the chain babe right?" "Tsuliria? Yeah I'm her master, lover, and destroyer why?" "...are..are all of those true?" "I'll let you use your imagination," he said with a smile "Anyway I have a favor to ask, could you order her to call off the assassination on Mirela. I'd appreciate it if you did."
Reaper's eyes widened at the mention of a favor before he chuckled and bending down took hold of Mirela's chin forcing her to look into his red eyes. "A favor, what are you willing to give for that?" "I'm-" Luck started but was stopped by Reaper's hand. "She's more affected by this circumstance so she takes more responsibility for it. Now young lady, what are you willing to sacrifice to save your own life." Reaper smiled as he took on his old persona of death his cloak appearing on his body. "You've already lost your mother, can you stomach another loss." Reaper chuckled and released her before crossing his arms making the cloak vanish. "Do me a favor and I do you one, that's how it works with me. Deal?" Reaper held his bandaged hand out. "I like to call it a contract. You help me I'll call off the assassination."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Kalan." Kalan jumped hearing his name and drew his straw, he turned and started to attack before he saw the doctor staring at him his hands behind his back. "Doc?" he said slightly confused. He shook his head and let out a nervous chuckle. "Sorry I'm a little on edge." The doctor looked around to see Kalan was hiding in an alleyway, he was sitting on the ground before the doctor appeared. "You seem....depressed. Kalan withdrew his straw and lowered his head looking at the ground. "You could say that....I'm...in a bad predicament." Kalan felt a hand touch his shoulder as the doctor wrapped his arm around him and started leading him out of the alleyway. "Come with me, I'll buy you a drink and we'll talk about it." "Really...thanks Doc." "Anything for a friend." The doctors eyes let off a faint glow as a low chuckle escaped from him.

Mirela's eyes narrowed as Reaper had approached her. 'Oh what does he want now...' Readying herself to open the violin case, Mirela was ready to engage in battle and was willing to continue on with that thought until Luck stopped in front of her. "L-Luck?!"
She listened as the two talked about Tsuliria and the assassination. "Luck you don't have t--" Mirela's sentence was cut short when Reaper took hold of her chin, which forced her gaze to be locked onto his crimson eyes.
"A favor, what are you willing to give for that?"
Mirela tried to say something but was halted yet again by Reaper.
"She's more affected by this circumstance so she takes more responsibility for it. Now young lady, what are you willing to sacrifice to save your own life."
Mirela watched as Reaper became Death and growled slightly. So her assumptions were right, Reaper was the one that had taken her mother.
Having been released, Mirela dropped to the ground, her glare never leaving Reaper.
"I like to call it a contract. You help me I'll call off the assassination."
"Oh like I would make a contract with you. Besides my life, I have nothing else to give!" Mirela clenched her fists, feeling her blood begin to boil inside of her. "You took my mother and I've never even met my father. I have no real home anymore, and because of your ridiculous assassination order, I've lost one of my only companions!"
Unable to calm herself, Mirela rose to a stand before slamming her fist forward, attempting to land a blow on his face out of pure rage, not thinking of all the things he could do to stop her. Mirela had simply had enough.
"Why?! Why do you do this to me?! Give me an answer!"

It's because you are weak...."
Birth slowly stepped forward, her gently touching Luck's shoulder. Her eyes were staring at the ground as she softly spoke to Mirela. The brisk morning sun shone on her face as her words continued.
"Mirela...My brother preys on the weak, the darkness in their heart...I had made you my temporary envoy in hopes to make you stronger."
Her gaze slowly lifted as her eyes met Mirela's, she walked forward past Reaper, her arms slowly wrapping Mirela as she hugged her.
"You care for my brother quite much yes?"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile,
"Come on! Come at me harder!"
Jazz' breath was heavy as he fought in the gorge, all of his energy being poured out as he struggled to master his skills.
"Any harder and I'll kill you, then what body will I have to use hmm?"
His copy grinned as a black lit hand rose over his face. The gorge was filled with spears of both black and white light. Both Jazz' were pushing themselves to the brink of their abilities. The match had gone on for over an hour now, with no sign of slowing in site.

Reaper didn't move and let the punch connect with him, he placed his foot back catching himself before turning back to her and rubbing his cheek. "Not bad for a human," Reaper said smiling. He listened to Birth for a moment and smiled, however he walked forward after she hugged her and gently pulled her away from her.
He looked at Mirela and brought his hand back before slapping Mirela across her right cheek, Luck flinched as the slap echoed and stared at Reaper as he withdrew his hand. He looked at Mirela his eyes narrowing.
"Mirela," Reaper said. "Releasing your anger on me will accomplish nothing, I was doing my job, a thankless one actually. You aren't the only one that has suffered a loss. I've taken children from good parents, wives from husbands, husbands from wives, parents from children and the only response is tears. Unlike my sister there are no smiles with my job. Only anger, sadness and hatred."
Reaper closed his eyes and let out a small sigh. "Kalan for example, I've taken much from him, I've taken his parents and his sister from him. I watched him cry at their graves, but when he met me did he punch me....no, he smiles and continues forward, living his life with those dear to him close to his heart. He works to hold the people he has now then those that have left him. We've even shared a few drinks together though it went on his tab."
Reaper opened his eyes looking back at her, a small sad smile formed on his face. "Even Tsuliria has suffered loss but unlike Kalan she doesn't smile anymore, still she continues forward in pursuit of her goal, though she may not like me, she does not hate me because of what I've taken from her. It's probably the whole stealing her soul thing."
Crossing his arms he walked past her standing behind her keeping his attention forward. "Mirela, you have something you want to protect right? Something you don't want to lose. You should try and get that back before you lose it....hold onto what you have now." Reaper lowered his head for a moment before clearing his throat. "Anyway I'm done being nice."
He turned back to Mirela and walking up put his hand on her head ruffling her hair. "Humans are special because they're durable and resilient, you're strong is basically what I mean."
He took his hand off her head and walked over to Birth. "With that said Kalan is your companion, if that's so than prove it through your actions. See how far your friendship goes, how much are you willing to sacrifice....do you follow me now Mirela...Luck."
Turning he grinned towards the both of them. "It's not an answer your looking for, since there isn't one."

Mirela remained silent as Birth and Reaper spoke, even as Reaper struck her she remained silent. Reaching up, she hesitantly stroked her reddened cheek, averting her gaze away from Reaper. Lowering her arm she gently took hold of Luck's arm, squeezing it with her soft grasp.
"I understand... But I'm still not pleased. I won't be until my mother is back safe with me. So, I'll make this deal with you." Locking her eyes on Reaper, one could see a burning passion within them. "I want two favors so I'll sacrifice two things of mine."
Mirela squeezed a little tighter on Luck's arm, as if trying to keep a level head. "First, I want the assassination called off so Kalan can return to me... For this, you may have my father. Wherever he is, if you don't already have him." Mirela personally had no emotional attachment to her father, having never met the man. Her mother had cried at the mere mention of him when she was younger, so that was another reason Mirela was willing to give him up.
"Second, I just want to know if my mother is alive or not, and I want the truth. For this information I'm willing to surrender the power given to me. When I'll give up this power depends on the answer. If she is alive, I'll surrender it after I have her back. If not, you're free to take it now, since I have no use for it. Once its gone I'll no longer be a threat to anybody and can live the rest of my days in peace." Mirela closed her eyes, letting out a deep breath before re-opening them and gazing at Birth.
"To answer your question, yes, I do care about your brother. His companionship means a lot to me, even if he can be annoying at times. I can tell that once someone puts all of that past them he's a nice person."
Bringing her gaze back to Reaper, her eyes softened. "So, do we have a deal?"

Reaper let out a small sigh glad she had calmed down a little, having to deal with annoyed humans was not on his list of things to do, he decided it was big enough. No need to add onto it. Listening to her request he shook his head with a small sigh. "I can't accept your first deal, since there's no real reason for me to accept it when you can easily solve it yourself."
Putting his hands behind his head he thought about her second one before a smile formed on his face. "Why don't I let you keep that power of yours and you can find out on your own. Besides I like your melody's." He looked over at Luck who was staring at him who was trying to see if there was hidden meaning behind 'companion' so far he was having little luck.
"Anyway, Tsuliria called the assassination, I don't know her reasoning for it but I'm not going to call it off either. I know who you were Mirela and I see why she hated you. Not because of your title of course. Tsuliria hates existence itself, Jazz's existence is one that really forces hatred from her."
He lowered his arms and pointed a finger at Mirela. "No contract between you and me when your problem is with Tsuliria not me, though if Tsuliria has her way I'll have to get involved anyway if you understand."
He lowered his hand and shrugged his shoulders with a grin. "If you really want answers why don't you ask Linora?" He pointed towards the village to indicate where she was before continuing. "She knows about your mother and you won't need to sacrifice anything, well your life might be at risk since she's always with Tsuliria. Still I ask you again, how much are you willing to sacrifice?." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kalan was led by the doctor to a warehouse and escorted inside, he looked around to see it was mostly empty minus three chairs, two of which were occupied. Seeing who were sitting in them made his heart skip a beat as he laid eyes on Yolor before seeing the man in a cloak, he recalled his name was Kailos. "Yolor?! How are you alive?!"
Turning hearing a familiar voice, a grin slid on Yolor's face seeing Kalan. "Hey it's my favorite sparring partner, you remember right? It was easier to set fire to you then the rest. Probably because of all the straw." Kalan rubbed the back of his head as Kailos turned towards him his face hidden, he felt eyes upon him however and it made him shiver. "Doc...why are they here?"
The doctor walked forward and stood in front of the two before making a motion to the chair, Kalan walked up to it and sat down in the free chair avoiding meeting Yolor's eyes, just sitting near him made him burn up, that or the fact Yolor was trying to burn his arm. Looking over he saw Yolor quickly pull his hand back.
"Kalan they are here for the same reason you are," the doctor said clapping his hands. "They're lost, just like you. I gathered you here to propose an alliance to further our individual goals, it's easier to work through things if you have companions."
Kalan looked around before raising his hand, the doctor pointed at him. "What if my companions have tried to kill me?" "That's all in the past Kalan," the doctor said. "Somehow I can't fully believe that."
The doctor looked at Yolor and Kailos who remained still and stared at him. "Kalan I chose you because I wanted you to be happy again, these two like you have lost their true happiness. Now Kalan, I want to help you but you have to trust us. Join our alliance and we will work together to realize our dreams....what do you say?"
Kalan looked over at the two who glanced at him, Yolor waved at him and smiled. He turned back to the doctor and closed his eyes before nodding his head, opening them he made a fist. "Alright, count me in." The doctor grinned. "Good, let's work well together." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tsuliria and Linora walked through the town as Tsuliria looked at the piece of paper, there were two names on it and a short description of the targets, stuffing the piece of paper back into her sleeve she let out a small sigh. "Finding them will be difficult," Tsuliria mumbled. Linora gave a small nod before seeing Tsuliria stop, she walked up next to her and stared at her. "Something wrong Mistress?" Tsuliria brought her hand to her head, flashes of red appeared in her mind forcing a response from her chains. "...old memories...." Her hand clenched into a fist as more red flashes appeared. "They've been more frequent lately...I don't know why." Tsuliria closed her eyes pushing the memories away before opening them, she continued to walk forward. "Are you okay Mistress?" Linora asked. "I'm fine," she responded. "I didn't come back to life to focus on the past, I came back to fix the mistake I made in it." Linora remained silent and lowered her head deciding not to respond.

"Good god, the lot of you are so absurdly pathetic." Mordikai spoke the words as he emerged from the shadows, hands in his pockets, rolling his eyes. "Do you know how obnoxious it was, having to observe all of you for so long? The three of you think your little story of heartbreak and misery is so captivating, but in all reality, it's so boorishly lame." He stared at Mirela for several seconds after he spoke, holding eye contact with her; then, when things began to get awkward, he turned towards Reaper and spoke again.
"My apologies for not approaching earlier, Reaper. You always seemed so busy giving orders, and I figured interrupting your fight would've been a terrible thing to do." He bowed, only slightly sarcastically. "I assumed now was a good time to speak to you, seeing as how you don't seem to be too terribly busy." Mordikai smirked, a knowing smile that mirrored the wicked grin that seemed to constantly adorn Reaper's visage. He surveyed the Deity before him, truly seeing him beyond a dark cloak for the first time.
"So what task am I to complete next? Or have I finally earned that which you promised me?"

Force started to walk away, turning once more before slamming his hand down, the ground around Rahj cracking and breaking, his body lowering into it.
"Fool, try harder next time and maybe I'll consider it."
Continuum and Force made their way through the town, Force destroying any buildings in his immediate reach, their flattened remains being all that was left behind. Continuum let out a sigh as Force stood before the central square. Bodies lined the streets from the previous battles as a heavy air surrounded them. Force raised his hand before central exploded, being flattened under the extreme gravity flux.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Birth stared at Mordikai, her face going blank as she looked into the young boy's face. She thought he was too young to be working under her brother, but knowing Death he wouldn't take on anyone without them proving themselves.
"Death...Force is getting closer. It seems the young man failed, I'm stepping in."
Birth started into the city, grabbing Mirela as she passed by.
"With Jazz gone, I need your help."
Birth disappeared into the city with Mirela dragging behind.

"There's only one person who's that impolite," Reaper said turning his head to see Mordikai. With a smile he took a few steps forward hearing his last words, he rubbed his chin wondering if Mordikai had done enough for him, he thought back to his previous exploits trying to count how many he had accomplished. He started to answer when he saw Birth walk past him, hearing her his eyes narrowed a little before he watched Mirela being dragged away. "I hope Mirela understood what I was saying," he said watching them fade into the distance. "I'm not really in the mood to escort more souls at the moment. With Force here the death count is getting higher."
Reaper stopped in front of Mordikai and pointed in the direction Birth and Mirela went. "If you help us fight Force and well...survive I'll go retrieve your sister, since I'm in such a good mood." With a smile he lowered his hand and walked after Birth. "Come on Mordikai, we get to have fun, it's the second act of this tragedy.." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Here you are Kalan." Kalan looked as the doctor pointed behind him, turning he saw men in black cloaks, a few were holding the others up and the rest were rocking back and forth. "Is that....my force?" Kalan asked. Running over to them he turned one around to see a large ten in a red circle, he felt joy fill his heart turning the man back around. "My force! I've been looking for you! Where have you been?"
The doctor walked forward with his hands in the pocket's of his coat before answering his question. "They were in a nearby tavern drinking before it was flattened by a man, I'm assuming a deity." "Then..how did they survive?" Kalan asked. "Kailos took care of that, the tavern owner is still alive too. He was quite angry about his place being destroyed, I heard him mention something about adding it to your tab and walked off." "....figures...."
The doctor turned and walked back in front of everyone, looking at Yolor and Kailos the remnants of their forces behind them, he extend his hand and pointed towards the exit. "With the village being destroyed it would be good for us to quickly leave here and regroup. Turning he pointed at Yolor who stood at attention. "Yolor you take the west exit and escort our forces out, Kailos you take the east exit. Kalan you take the north and hold off the reinforcements from the guards."
Kalan flinched hearing this, this kind of order seemed all to familiar and judging by the groans from his men it appeared they recognized it too. "Why us?" Kalan asked motioning back to his forces.
"You have the most men still intact so we need your help holding off the guards. Yolor will throw a fireball into the air high enough for you to see, you can retreat then, by then Kailos should be gone as well. I'm depending on you. Now go ahead since you have to march further."
Kalan sighed but nodded and turning moved his forces out of the warehouse, the doctor waited until he could no longer see them before speaking again. "Yolor, Kailos you know what to do."
Kailos nodded with a grin as Yolor chuckled, the two turned and made their way out of the warehouse. The doctor took off his glasses revealing his red and yellow eyes as a grin formed on his face. "I have a date with a not so fair maiden." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Luck watched Mirela being dragged off and bit his lip to hold his tongue, he knew he couldn't say anything to Birth about this. "She should be safe with Birth," he said before running into the village. He opened his pocket watch as it let off a light glow, he increased his speed feeling something stirring in his heart.
"Oh come on!" Luck's pocket watch let off a black glow as a large group of guards chased after him yelling what seemed to be threats in his direction, he quickly sped up his pace glancing back at them every now and then.
His eyes widened as a large forced appeared in his path, seeing the looks on the face of the men, he noticed that they seemed...disappointed and out of it. "I can think of only one person who would command a force like this." Looking past this he saw a blond man leading the forces, his eyes narrowed as he grabbed one of the cloaked men and took their sword before jumping into the air letting the cloaked force collide with the guards.
Kalan!" Kalan looked up hearing his name to see Luck raising a sword above his head, he quickly reached in his sleeve and pulled out a straw sword blocking Luck's blow causing a large burst of energy to erupt throwing all the men around him back. Luck continued to attack him the force of their blows keeping him suspended in the air as Kalan fended off his blows. "I'm not coming back what part of that did you not get!" Kalan yelled.
Luck knocked Kalan's sword away and kicked off of him before landing a few feet away, Kalan shook off his hand before Luck raised his sword at him. "I'm bringing you back, if I have to beat you unconscious so be it." Luck threw his sword away and raised his fists up, Kalan closed his eyes but spread his feet apart before taking a fighting stance. "I'm not going back, I'll make you recognize that, if I have to beat it into you."

yizel Bazos hearing her response let out a small sigh before leaning back against the bench and rubbing the back of his head. "I can't just do that, even if you don't need one the leader ordered me to ensure the safety of those not involved in this war." Bazos looked back at the door of the cathedral hearing the yells outside, he assumed Reaper's men were passing through. "Reaper's men have the whole village covered by a barrier, everyone is trapped in here, no one can get in or out and those that try have to deal with his men at the border of town. Bazos turned towards the tan woman before standing up. "The resistance movement is looking to open a hole in the barrier to escort the people out, everyone's working together, even Reaper's and Birth have teams to accomplish their twisted goals against each other.' Bazos stood up and walked out from the bench and put his hands in his pocket. "You must understand this miss, running around in this city alone, will get you killed." Flora sighed and crossed her arms and she turned to face the man again. So she was stuck here.. wonderful. "And what are you going to do? Save my life? You'll be killed then and whoever your leader is will have one less man to fight on the front lines of your little attack." she didn't want to be followed around but it seemed like he was rather determined to stick with her.
"Resistance?" perhaps she would join them but only to be free.. after that she would leave the little games and go back into the forest. She should have never come to this city in the first place then everything would have been perfectly fine. Running her fingers through her black hair, she pulled it back. "I guess I'm just going to have to fight my way out of this place." she murmured as she headed for the doors. "Come on." she gestured.

Before Mirela had the chance to even say anything to Mordikai or Reaper, she found herself being dragged away by Birth toward the city. 'Why does she want my help? Even if Jazz is gone, I failed as her Envoy... What help could I be?' Struggling against Birth, Mirela tried her best to get away.
Mirela then watched as Luck ran off into the village. The thought saddened her... First being separated from Kalan, and now Luck. Why wasn't he coming after her? Outstretching her arm, Mirela cried out to Luck in an attempt to get him to come after her. "L-Luck! Come back!" After so long, however, Mirela felt that her cries would no longer be heard. 'Its no use...' So she turned her attention to Birth, stopping her struggle.
"What kind of help are you talking about, Birth? You're not saying that I'm your Envoy again, are you?" Mirela made a face at the thought. "Oh who am I kidding, you wouldn't do that. Anyways, you're a powerful Deity... Why choose me to help?"
After thinking for a few moments, Mirela felt that it would just be better not to question Birth's reasoning. "I'll at least see Luck again, right? I've already lost Kalan and I can't bear to lose another friend."

Bazos rubbed the back of his head at the mention of saving her life and shrugged. "If it's for the greater good then I don't mind giving my life," he said smiling. He was glad to hear her mention fighting, it meant he didn't have to be on guard duty all the time.
He followed her outside and looked up at the sky, to his surprise he noticed the barrier was gone but other than that most of the village had been flattened, what was standing either had chunks missing or some part of it was torn apart. He looked into the distance to see a man with what looked like a cape on his right arm and a metal bracelet on his wrist, next tot him there was a man in a strange outfit. A sleeve was missing from his shirt and he had gauntlets on, he didn't seem to alarmed at the events around him. "Who...is that? Well anyway miss I'll at least escort you out of the town now that the barrier's down."
"What happened in my absence, also what happened to Ulior....the plan can't go through if the barrier's not up."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kalan stumbled back as a fist collided with his face, reaching up he touched his nose before looking back at Luck who shook off his hand. "Why won't you give up..." Kalan mumbled to himself.
Glancing over he saw some of the guards had broken through his forces, apparently Luck saw them as his eyes were alternating between Kalan and the incoming guards. Luck ran forward as the guards charged them, Kalan braced himself as Luck threw a punch at his face, he deflected his punch to the side and went for his stomach only to have Luck spin around him and push him forward out of the way of a guards sword.
Kalan glanced back at him before running towards him, he dodged a right hook from him and kicked him in his chest knocking him out of the way of a vertical slash of a nearby guard. Luck caught himself and sprinted back at Kalan before aiming a kick towards his chest. Kalan caught his foot and flipped him backwards causing Luck to dodge a horizontal cut at his torso from one of the guards, Luck turned his body and kicked Kalan in his chest while falling causing him to stumble back.
Luck hit the ground and rolling back pushed off his hands avoiding a sword meant for his neck. Kalan ran forward only to jump back dodging a roundhouse kick from Luck and a stab at his side. He took a step forward and went to uppercut Luck. Luck dodged to the right dodging the attack and a sword that followed shortly after, Luck clenched his fist stopping his attack, he turned and punched the guard and took his sword. Kalan turned dodging a stab from the back from another guard and grabbing his wrist snapped his arm forcing him to drop the sword and picked it up.
The two turned their backs to each other and turned towards the guards. Walking backwards they leaned against each other as the guards started surrounding them. "Hey Luck...why don't we put off our fight till we take care of them." "Temporary truce? I see you recognize real strength when you see it then." "I already regret this," Kalan said sighing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Mistress, perhaps you should rest." Tsuliria used a nearby building to keep herself up, she brought her hand to her chest as she glanced back at Linora, her breathing strained. She straightened herself and shook her head as she continued walking. "I'm fine," Tsuliria said covering her mouth. Linora walked up to her before resting her hand on Tsuliria's shoulder, she started to speak to her when she noticed Tsuliria stop.
Looking ahead she saw a figure standing in their way, Tsuliria took a few steps forward before addressing the figure. "What are you doing here Rai?" The doctor took a few steps forward and smiled at Tsuliria before looking at Linora. "Linora, Tsuliria you two are looking well," he said clapping his hands together. "It's so good to see you again. You look nice by the way."
