The Riyo

Admittedly, Amrita was extremely a little intimidated by the yelled challenge that Riyo gave. It was so startling and so loud that the Patchwork seriously considered sneaking out of the class...but she imagined that would make Christof make those irritated frowny faces at her again. Plus, you know, the whole Student Council campaign would be for nothing if she ran like a little girl. She wasn't a little girl anymore! She had put on her big girl body and jack damnit she was going to act like it!

"O-OKAY!" She yelled back, unable to help the stammer. "YOU'RE ON!" She cried out next, stretching out her arm to point at the challenger.

Misses. Just misses. It was still either robot's fight. Colette couldn't do anything more but wait and watch with anticipation. Just one little hit.

The bot squeaked as it rolled up to its opponent, not even lifting the spatula for a slap. Instead, it forced it to the underbelly of the bot and clumsily flipped it. Kind of. Just hitting the underbits was good enough.

There can be only one.

"YES!" Colette cheered and smiled at what played out before her.

Oh, er.

Clearing her throat, the Reaper collected herself and looked at Mot. "Uhm. Good battle."

Ack! No, C.T. took a hit. if it wasn't for the fact that it was a robot toy made by his own paws and the help of stationary, Damien was sure it just whined pitifully at him.

The day it learns to use robot puppy sad eyes was a frightening day indeed.

"Ok, no more taking it easy Rin tin tin." yes that was its new new name. "Go get him." Damien barked out and let the thing run free and chase the ball some more and there wasn't a single nick on the ball bot, playtime was starting to become too much about the play.

"Argh what??! No way not after I JUST flipped it back over!" Bul snorted frustratedly as his failbot continued to squirm helplessly on its own.

Before Bul could help it up though it malfunctioned into a frenzy spitting its parts about until it pushed itself up with its weapon and charged back into Razeil's.

"Guess... it needed a good smackdown?" Bul stared uneasily at the other boil.

Aghk! He was at it again! Taryn made her bot bank left and tried to wheel around (figuratively) and clip the bigger bot again. It had seemed to work well last time, and now that she felt like they were on a more even playing field (kind of) she found it easier to actually try and win.

Oh no, no no no. That was not one of his robot's screws on the floor there.

The Ghoul was starting to get a hang of the robot fight now and that had Damien a little nervous. Damned ball bot and his ramming that knocked him around.

"Lift Rin tin tin! Lift like your little robot life depended on it!" he yelled out to the tiny fighter that went charging back in with its open clamp jaw ready to take another solid bite. But the last knock had it teetering to the side and it missed by a fair margin.

Rin tin tin was losing his touch.

Raziel had still not calmed down since the first flipping of the other bot, and then managed to fail drive his own robot, making him an easy target. Bul's robot landed a hefty hit on his bot, causing some of the wood that made up it's frame to skew and shift a bit. Now it just looked derpy and lopsided.

In response to Bul, Raziel gave a short laugh and said, "I'ts no big deal, it's only class after all!" He harbored no ill feelings towards Bul, the robots were meant to be destroyed, and he was enjoying this as well!

With a determined look on his face he went about trying the same tactic as before, go for the bot and mash the button to flip it. It worked again! How exciting!

Xiu stared blankly at the scene before them, watching with vague embarrassment (and amusement, oh, the amusement) as her robot was tripped, flipping onto it's side. Lizzy's comment startled a laugh out of her. "Robot love squad, yes!" She giggled, eying fail-bot and derp-bot with a smile. What a perfect pair.

Unfortunately, it seemed as if that trip had finally shaken something important loose. It was making a strange noise, and it's wheels were spinning uselessly as if it was trying to right itself back up. The flower that Xiu had put on the robot had shaken loose in all the conflict, and as derp-bot's wheels started to slow and the noise began to fade, the flower fell right onto the spatula...

...Where it was promptly sent flying, landing right in front of fail-bot. Then, all was silent. Derp-bot stopped moving.

Xiu stood there, feeling as if she had just watched some kind of cheesy romantic drama. After a moment of silence, she suddenly clapped her hands. "Yay, Lizzy! Nice win!"

Mot's heart fell as his robo horse fell to pieces in the opposing roboto's spatula of death. "Aaaw..." He sighed, shoulders slumping. He had lost. Sad, sad day.

Mot rubbed his neck, chuckling lightly. "Yeah, good battle." The reaper held out a hand to shake. "We were neck in neck for a while, huh?" Truly they had fought hard!

Why was the ghoul being so soft-spoken like that? It looked like she was yelling, but... All Riyo could hear from Amrita was barely above a whisper. "YOU SHOULD SPEAK UP."

When Lil' Jess took damage, the feline couldn't hide a cruel smirk, imagining a certain parent in it's place instead. "YEAH. ALRIGHT ROBOT. GO GET YOUR a** KIC- I MEAN ATTACK!" She yelled and pointed to her opponent's robot, watching hers try to truck along.

Bul threw his hands up nervously and stepped backwards a moment. "Er- no it isnt. I just.." The boil was interipted by the sound of his robot getting the s**t flipped out of it like Desu's tables.

"...I kinda liked the little bugger. >8 Little Buddy... it'll be okay!!" he cried as he watched it struggle to get back up. Unfortunately it sputtered around some more and crashed into the other robot... backwards. Bul hung sadly with his arms dangling to the floor while his Little Buddy got savagely killed.

The Riyo

...Oh, the...ghoul...? couldn't hear her? Okay! The Vetala looked around her, giving everyone an apologetic look before cupping her reversed hands around her mouth, arms crossed at the wrists.

"IS THIS BETTER?!" She cried out as loud as her new vocal cords would allow in a school setting that didn't involve the need to scream very, very loudly. Riyo's robot attacked hers and the ghoul's expression dropped: NOOOOOO HER MACHINE AAAAAAAAA! Amrita admittedly felt terrible sending her robot back into the ring after getting righted (how did Hellma send the entire school without remorse?!), but she had an oddly proud feeling when the 'bot smashed right into Riyo's.

"YEEEEEEEEEEEAH GO ON!" She had to make sure she knew Riyo could hear her, after all!

Oh! Oh my! She could actually win this! Taryn's spirits were renewed at the thought of winning even this singular battle; she had not yet considered that there might be others. Her half-broken and clunking ball-bot ran back a bit and them rammed forward again.

Although Raziel liked his robot well enough, he had no special attachment to it. That would probably change as time went on, but at that exact moment, he was just entertained by the battle. He did however notice Bul's saddened expression and worry for his Little Buddy. He had grown attached to the bot, and seeing him get beaten up must be like watching your baby sister get picked on by a bully. This scene made Raziel sad as well, completely killing his excitement, though he had no choice but to continue the battle.

"I'm.. sorry :C " Raziel stammered out as he attempted to drive his bot towards Bul's. Somewhere between point A and B Raziel screwed up and ended up just ramming his bot into a nearby table leg. Missing Bul's bot completely. While he did feel bad about wrecking Little Buddy, he figured he should try his best to go ahead and put it out of it's misery the next chance he got.

On the other hand, Damien was freaking out that he might actually lose this battle! There was a chance that more were on the horizon and if he lost here....


"No CT, go go go!" He urged the robot on to strike down the ball-bot even if one of its legs was shorting out. "No, don't make me have to take out behind the shed with a shotgun robot."

That got its gears all revved up as the canine bot picked it up and tossed Taryn's bot aside like it was a new trick he learned.
