[ORP] Blooms of Spring; To Celebrate New Beginings (NIGHT)

The moment a growl reached the Lopunny's excellent hearing, the rabbit pokemon was on her feet, stance at shoulder length apart to ground her as she shoot a glare over at the fire type that was growling at one of the humans.
She snapped, reaching up to tug the headphones off of her head.

Sparky still went ignored - until the moment he started growling. Sera's eyes darted to meet his, and she matched his glare in full, anger rising in her voice for the first time the whole day. "Don't you ******** growl at me," she said slowly and in low tones, her eyes narrowed. What was with this girl's pokemon feeling the need to protect and defend her from words? Was she that pitiful that she couldn't defend herself verbally and needed her pokemon to do so physicall?

Isabella responded to the growl immediately as well, and she rose to her feet to narrow her gold eyes and return the growl with an increase in volume, even going so far as to bare her fangs at the fire-type. not growl at her.>

Rayan got hit with more water, but to avoid the majority of the attack the ducked under, just enough to grab the Zoroark and surfaced, lifting the dark type with her.

Jacques howled gleefully as Ray grabbed him and lifted him, and rather than try to break free, he instead tried to climb up onto her shoulders.

"Pfff!" Ray snorted as the Zoroark climbed on her. she just held her arms out and flexed them to give herself more strength in her upper body as she leg the Zoroark. "You need to lose some weight man!" she teased "what is Sera feeding you?"

Luke looked to Rosie briefly at her touch, understanding the implication. This wasn't the first time he'd said such words, he remembered. He was glad he had said them then, and now as well. But he couldn't agree with Dove's response. Sensing the too familiar feeling of being overwhelmed, of shattering, of giving in to feelings of self-deprecation and loathing, he pushed to his feet and moved around to the other side of the colored flames, crouching in front of Dove to avoid standing over her. "Just standing can be the hardest part," he said, turning his hand palm up in offering. "You don't have to do it alone." He knew for a fact that he couldn't.

"Zoooor! Zor, zoroark!" The dark-type barked in response to Ray's question, not that she would understand him anyway, and leaned his head down over hers to give her a toothy, upside-down grin.

She took a few slow breaths, but lifted her head as a few of the pokemon around her seemed to tense, Sparky at the head of all of it. The growls he received were met with dark, narrowed eyes and silence, his stance unwavering, both physically and in intent.

In panic, the girl in the sand immediately called the pokemon back to its ball, looking back over her shoulder to both Sera's absol and the Lopunny behind Rosie, the latter making her shift back from the group, nearly topping to her side in the process.

When Luke approached and knelt down with her, she turned her eyes to his, fear overpowering everything the model's face had to offer. She stared, breathless as he spoke to her, then looked to his hand, tears freely streaming as she realized what he offered. She had no right to accept his help, not after all the pain she had cause him. The letter, the apology, everything. How did he have the strength to even offer his assistance, when she had done absolutely nothing to deserve it? In shame, she reached for his hand, her own shaking as she turned her face down again.

Luke closed his hand and rose to his proper height, pulling Dove up with him, and gestured widely once she was upright as well. The tone of his words was encouraging, "And just like that, you're on your feet." His expression was soft and reassuring. "If that's all you can do for now, that's fine. Just do what you can, just a little at a time."

Pop yelled when the pokemon was retracted into his ball,

Rosie smiled softly when Luke went over to talk to Dove, reaching out to her.
But as Pop reached up and threw the headphone down onto the ground violently the blond trainer turned her head sharply toward the pokemon.

Pop, was Rosie's challenge pokemon, the bunny, while it might look pretty had the worse temper that Rosie had ever had to deal with.
but deal with it she always did.
Recalling the fire type was quickly rising the rabbits rage.
Though in a shock of movement Pop had suddenly found herself pulled into Rosie's lap, and hugged tightly to her trainer's chest.

The movement was enough to startle to Lopunny into silence, a silence that was maintained as Rosie whispered softly into the rabbit's ears.
Thought he rabbit wasn't without struggles against Rosie's grip, the force of her temper seemed to have been ebbed away.

Rosie had become very good at knowing when to cut the rabbit off before her tantrums would become far too out of control for Rosie to talk down.
though her eyes didn't once leave Luke and Dove, her smile soft and hopeful.

This was why he was one of the greatest people that Rosie had ever met.

Dove rose to her own feet with Luke's help, her eyes staying low as he tugged her up, even when she found herself standing. After a few moments, she finally lifted her eyes to him, the fear there, but ebbing, replaced by that of awe and soft confusion. Why? The tears slowed as she stared at him, grasping desperately for words that weren't there. She swallowed hard, her head dipping again as she failed to understand his kindness, though after a time, she nodded, an almost inaudible Thank you, Luke... slipping from her lips, along with a small, but desperately genuine smile of gratitude. He had absolutely no idea what he had done for her, with such a simple gesture and easy words.

[Everyone on the beach ever]

It would start off muffled, from a group of trainer gather at one of the bonfires of the beach.
The large numbers celebrating and chatting. until they started singing.
It was a well known song among trainers, and before too long, the singing stretched from bonfire to bonfire, trainers all along the sand joining in until all around voices rose in confidence and cheer, reciting the anthem of the League in a booming unison.

"I wanna be the very best!
Like no one ever was!
To catch them, is my real test! To train them is my cause!"

Sera was mildly surprised at Pop's reaction, but she was still more pissed at the Typhlosion's growling than anything. Isabella still stood, hackles raised and staring hard at the girl and her remaining pokemon, though a stern look from Seraphine and a "sit" caused the dark-type to sit down, though she still looked incredibly displeased and very attentive.

The brunette was similarly very attentive, but more at Dove's behavior with Luke. She wasn't angry (yet), just watchful. There was no way she would allow that girl to upset Luke anymore.

There was also no way she was singing that song. Or anything, for that matter.

Rosie knew the words, as a league trainer herself, it was something a lot of them picked up along the way.
But as the hopeful words rose into the night air, the meanings of strength and courage, with friendship and hope. What grabbed the girl most was the sheer number of voices bursting out with the song.

Rosie let out a small giggle, still hugging Pop. "Nope" She said with emphasis though the loudly sun anthem "definitely not alone Dove."

This were the people that they could rely on, these were friends, allies, and sometimes rivals. All here, and all united.

Luke gave a nod in response; he couldn't know what was in Dove's heart, but he certainly understood the feeling of being pulled out of darkness. It took a while to find light again, but once that was achieved, it was so bright and so warm.

Suddenly there was singing pealing out across the shore, and Luke looked to the source in surprise - or would have, if the source weren't literally surrounding them. Thoroughly confused, he looked to Rosie and Seraphine, neither of which appeared to be as puzzled as him. "What's all this?"
