cutting is just sad....it makes me sad when people do it. I wouldnt because it would make my friends sad, and i only have one life to live what if one day you went to far

I probably should have explained more.
There's people at my school who consider themselves "emo" simply by making nicks on the backs of their wrists, and who really do believe emo is about cutting and think it's part of the fashion.
However, emo and cutting are two completely different things, and people who don't realise that annoy me.

This guy I met at school asked me if I was goth and I said no. I said I was emo, and he said that I was a crazy. I said emo means emotional and he said that people cut because they're emotional.
