Kirara looked over at Hisoka and tilted her head letting out a confused growl, wondering how someone could be 108 years old when they weren't a demon. And these people didn't smell like demons nor did they look extremely old. Other than the smell of death that surrounded them, they smelled like normal humans.

Tsuzuki noticed Kirara's confusion and decided there was no reason in hiding it, "I died eighty-two years ago at the age of twenty-six," he explained as evenly as he would say something like 'how's the weather,' though it was almost a whisper.

"Actually....I think you proably die a few hundred years from now" Kero commented from the side.

"Well, in accordance to the span of my existence," Tsuzuki elaborated.
"How far in the past are we exactly?" Hisoka rose his eyebrow in question at Kero.

Kirara changed back into her smaller form and jumped up, landing on Tsuzuki's shoulder and rubbed against him, trying to comfort him in her own way. She couldn't talk, and she hadn't died, but she sympathized for him, although she was confused as to why he was now walking around. He didn't smell like Kikyo did, of earth and clay and bone, but he was definately dead.

Kero shrugged, well as much as a stuffed animal can. "I don't know, I just know when we came there was a shift in time. But as far as I can tell, it's over 300 I believe, anything past that, I'm not sure"

Tsuzuki chuckled as he brought his hand up to give her a pet, "Thank you, Kirara."
"Wow, this is all so fascinating! I simply must come back sometime with my lab equipment. With this knowledge who knows what I could accomplish! My work can become known as some of the greatest observations in history!" Watari started, getting more and more excited as he spoke.
"But how would you publish it, Watari?" Hisoka questioned, "You're dead too."
"Ah, young Kurosaki, that is where my great plan becomes brilliant! I will use an alias!" Watari grinned, proud of himself.

Kirara gave a small hiss at Watari. She knew that the well that they had all come through was special and that Kagome wanted it to be kept a secret. If he did come back with lab equipment, she was already making plans to break it all.

"What?" Watari looked defensively at Kirara, guessing what she was getting at. After all, even though he didn't seem like it, he was one with brains at the bureau, "It's not like I'd reveal anything about how I got here, but there are special plants and such that grow here that went extinct later. Just get some DNA testing from those and the possibilities are endless! Just think, an even stronger sex-change potion that never fails and holds out as long as one pleases!"

Sakura forgot for a moment that she was scared at the shinigami bewhildered, wondering what that could be used for. "Sex-change potion?" she asked aloud.
Even Yukito looked confused at this one.

Kirara also didn't like the idea and gave a small cat growl as she climbed down Tsuzuki's shoulder so that she was hiding behind him where she COULDN'T see Watari. He scared her.

Tsuzuki looked over his shoulder and at Kirara, smiling reassuringly, "Watari's nice. Just don't eat anything given to you by him. You never know what sort of experiment he's trying."
"Why yes, I was browsing through some old books at the library at the Judgment Bureau when I found a recipe for it. I thought it looked interesting so I checked out the book and decided to try it," Watari explained, "It could help solve one of the greatest mysteries of all time! The female body! It's been a mystery since the immemorial! I've been working on it for six years. My last attempt was unsuccessful, however. But I'm getting closer!"
"Watari, may I remind you that you are a mechanical engineer and not a mad scientist as you like to so believe? You should stop dabbling in a totally unrelated field," Tatsumi sighed, "Your potions never work, just look what happened last time."

Kero shook his head. "Why would anyone make something like that?"
"b-but Kero-chan didn't Clow-san?" Sakura asked. "With Change?" she said holding up a card to kero's face. He shivered remembering oh too well the powers of change.
"Yeah...well Clow was twisted. But I am curious." Kero said turning to Watari. "What did happen when you tried it?"
