Monom shweet, I think blue eyes are quite common, especially in Ireland, so why complain about having brown? I wear yellow sunglasses most of the time so no one really sees my true eye color. Blu eyes are quite common anywher are they not o.O

blue eyes are very common in western countries, but are actually quite rare in teh rest of teh world ninja

well all of my family is QUITE irish, over a quarter for all of my brothers and sisters, and we ALL have blue eyes (funny thing is tho that I have a slight english accent)

I'm half Irish half Cherokee. I take more after the irish though. My Great great Grand mothers on both sides were full blooded Cherokee. they married Irish men. My Great Great Grandfather was 70 when he had my Great Grandfather. My Great Grandparents married, since both were half half their kids were half half. My grandmother had my mother with my half half grandfather. My mother had me with my half half father. I'm one of about 20 grandkids with the red hair, we either get red or dark hair. I have more of a auburn hair color. I'm pale right now because I'm also half computer nurd. the sun stings me when i step out now. but when i go out i burn like a red head, but after 2 weeks i tan like a old person in god's waiting room florida.

I mean unless you're 100% Irish, there's no reason you couldn't have an eye color passed down through another line. Even then you never know if your great-great grandparent may have been in another lineage as well....

Lol. Well there you go...if you get it from your mom's side.
Even then on your dad's side you never know with how far back you go. Your dad could be 10% something else and not even realize....

Although that's only that you know of. You'd be surprised at what lurks within your genetics...most people aren't nearly as pure as they believe themselves to be...
