A bit dated, but the patches are helping. ^^

And now I'm really looking forward to the spiritual sequels. o.O It's... sort of nice to have a game that rewards you for talking to people and basically roleplaying, instead of just killing things.

It is. XD It really is. Having high Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma is pretty useful that way, too, since stats apparently have a MAJOR impact on gameplay...

Those are spellcasting stats.

And giant lasers are possible.

Of course, getting to the high levels for the good spells is apparently a challenge... ^^ Yay for Absurdly High Level Caps!
