Len stopped.

"I take it you dont wish to be alone for some reason?" Leonard guessed.

"...Doesn't matter..." Len said, looking down again.

leonard sighed. "you may remain near me if you so desire." leonard said, starting for the sub levels again.

Len nodded and followed him again quietly.

watching her, Leonard now understood her better. she desired company bad enough that she stuck around him, despite the fact, in his mind, he looked like satan, despite his angelic heritage. she also desired to be helpful, so long as it was within company... realizing quickly she must have been a servant of some sort, at some point recently, he made his way to the sub levels, and found very little useful material... in its current form anyway. solid ingots of the ore used in the quarantine room were stacked in one part of the sub levels, and Leonard knew that his own panels were made of the same. reaching carefully, he took ahold of the ingot, which had to weight at least a ton, if not more, and lifted, using a mix of his energy, and his abilities, to lift the ingot, supporting it with an altered version of his barrier ability and his air solidification power to take most of the weight. walking towards the stairs he took down the sub level, he passed len, shifting the ingot to avoid braining her. if he got her with this, he doubted shed come out of it well.

Len wasn't one to judge a person by his appearance so she kept following. She wondered if she could help him carry stuff. So she went to one of the ingots and tried to lift it.

stopping, and watching Len, Leonard had a feeling she wouldnt be able to lift it, but didnt tell her to not, figuring she would prefer it that way.

Len had the strength of a girl, so she obviously couldn't lift something this heavy. She knelt down and instinctively started scratching at it with her hands.

Leonard watched her, having a suspicion that she wouldnt be able to scratch it either, considering that the ore for the quarantine chamber, as he recalled, was hard enough that little short of his own claw, which was harder than anything he had yet met, could so much as scratch it. at that thought, he wondered yet again where his claw came from...

Realizing that nothing she did helped, Len stood up and walked after Leonard again, head low.

"Cheer up. this ore is harder than anything ive met, short of my own claw." Leonard said, taping the fingers of the claw of his gauntlet on the metal with an audible series of tinks. "And its heavier than youd think." Leonard told her, walking up the stairway making his way to the level the quarantine room was on, and heading for it. once there, he would set the ore down and try to figure out how to work it into a useable form. he didnt know how to work the machines meant to do it.

Len walked into the room as well, "...Do you know how this stuff works...?" She questioned.

Leonard shook his head. "Nope. i bet i dont need it." Leonard said, throwing a shield up around her to protect her from the heat, then taking a single deep breath, and exhaling flames all over the ingot, repeating the action over and over until finally the ingot was hot enough to melt. continuing to breath the heat on it until it melted to a pool of metal, using barriers to shape it into a square sheet, and severing the pool into multiple pieces. then he focused making sure the shields stayed up, against the intense heat.

Using this much magic, Len suddenly became nervous. She looked around for a bit to make sure everything was okay. She knew if her master was here, Leonard would possibly be dismantled pretty quickly.
