Karaneshii ^The Obscured Clan^

Shiane looked thoughtful as the woman spoke and then she nodded, "Of course you may come to rely on the clan. That's what we're here for. We seem to collect misfits of all kinds, most with unique powers. So you would be no different." she gave a warm smile. "As for Lady Caly, she doesn't really need to be impressed. As long as you are willing to help in return for teh help we offer than you are always welcome here. She's a gentle soul with depths that not even some of her closest allies and friends have dipped into." she glanced away briefly as she recalled just how a few things were becoming different about the half elf, but seeing as that's how the circumstances were taking the Great Mage, then it was no wonder.

When she looked back up at the stranger, her curiosity got best of her and she had to ask, "Just to be aware for future references, what is your power?"

Fasia squinted. "They call it The Probability Factor. Most people wouldn't jump off a cliff because they'll probably die, and I wouldn't jump off a cliff because I might not like what stops me from dying." She stood and tugged her pants up. "I can't prove its existence to you... you'd have to put me in a situation where it's just me versus the laws of probability if you want to see anything. It could end unpleasantly, too." Saying it out loud dispelled some of her confidence, but she couldn't back down anymore.

"And oh, yeah, my name's Fasia. You've been really, really nice. I could do you some favors in return... I'm used to running around."

Shiane blinked. That was something she had -never- heard of, even with her extensive traveling (time included). It made her want to do some research, but she didn't exactly have access to the Royal library at the moment. "No, it's alright. You don't have to prove yourself." she said. The girl wouldn't have to do anything she didn't want to and Shiane wasn't going to push anything. If she wanted to reveal her talent, then she could do it on her own time when she was ready. Not before.

"And my name is Shiane. If you would like to join us now, I think Alstiara is making some soup in the kitchen." her smile brightened, making her green eyes light up. She really was a friendly person and a person only saw the hidden claws when she or her people were threatened.


Alsti frowned a little at that one, "Amnesia? What happened? Do you know if you will gain your memory back?" already her mind raced with possible things that could help him if he wished for the aide. Afterall Shiane was also a telepath, and knew alittle bit about mind-healing. Perhaps she could help if he wished it.

Seri's voice seemed to float around the demon as her reply could be heard, "Ah, but that only works if I was trying to hide from you. I figured you'd join me in the shadows and follow me to where our new destination lay." a soft,seductive giggle laced through the voice, but the half demon didn't reveal herself from the shadows. It was quite comfortable to be in them after so long.

Vincet smirked and raised an eyebrow. Curious he let shadows envelope him and he chased after Seri. "Then get to leading temptress." Vincent said with a dark chuckle.

Fasia turned her head to one side. Soup?

"Haha, I never turn down food," she said, with a look that meant she was thinking of a few times she wished she had. "Thanks." She hovered beside Shiane, ready to follow or anything else.

"So how many others stay around here nowdays?"

((Sorry!!! I've just been busy..things are also getting a little stressful at home as well.))

Shiane smiled and started leading back towards the way she had come, taking it slow so she had more time to chatter with the stranger. "It's nothing really. Alsti likes to feed people." she giggled a little, her smile remaining on her lips as she continued to lead through the garden. She trailed a hand amongst the greenery she passed through and then looked thoughtful at the other question. "Hm...To be honest, I'm not sure anymore. It seems the Clan has been growing at a rapid pace lately it seems. At teh very least there are a dozen at any given time..any other information I wouldn't be able to give to you just yet."

At this point they were in sight of the backdoor of the mansion and she could just smell the savory aroma of whatever soup Alsti decided to make. Just the scent was making her stomach announce loudly that she was hungry. "I do have to add that Lady Caly would probably have more of an idea with how many people belong to that of the Clan."


Seductive giggles floated around the demon now. She was immersed in the shadows as she seemed to glide around. The world looked different on this side of the Light. And though she herself was mostly a creature of Light, she had a knack for the Shadow magic. It was fun and she was still learning spells from her younger brothers.

Minutes passed and she slowly allowed herself to fade into physical sight inside the bedroom that reeked of the demon's aura. The room he had claimed as his. Her perched on the side of his bed, a leg crossed and revealed a little more skin through slit in the skirt. Inviting and teasing all at the same time. She even leaned back a little, waiting to see when her playmate would arrive.

"A dozen... that's potentially dangerous, but in most situations, it should make us pretty safe." Fasia looked up at the doorway as they approached it. This building, faintly laced with smoke, patched in some places and new in others, drew her in. After all, she could never drop into a place by accident. Who else would she meet here or avoid meeting, or what else would she find or not find?

"Who's been fixing up this place? It looks old, but someone's put a lot of effort into it." She brushed her fingers over the wood of the doorway, trying to remember the house she'd grown up in, a building that grew from the ground up and grafted in with a hollow tree trunk. One thought struck her: It's hard to trust anything man-made.

Vincent slipped from the shadows and into his bedroom where the half breed sat on his bed rather seductively. His eyes went to her legs, very tempting. Vincent closed the distance between him and Seri, his hands sparked with electricity. Reaching out he ran his fingers along Seri's legs, the exposed skin would feel the smallest of electric jolts coming from his fingertips.

Pushing himself onto her slowly Vincent captured Seris lips with his own.

Shiane gave a half smirk and questioned, "Potentially dangerous? How is that?" though by now they reached the kitchen and joined the two there.

Alsti, a half elf, turned to smile at the two and it was her that answered the other question, "Lady Caly is the one who magically restored the house to it's former glory. I can read it in the aura of the house." she waved a hand a little past the kitchen, "But she's been able to do so much because she's a powerful Great Mage, one of vampire and elf legend." she looked thoughtful then shrugged lightly and began padding around the kitchen once more seeking out bowls and spoons.

Seri's skin jumped and jerked a little at the electricity, but after a few seconds she relaxed into the sensations and then found her lips commandeered in a kiss.

Fasia raised an eyebrow at Shiane.

To Alsti, she began, "I haven't been around this much elven blood in one place in forever." She pulled one chair out from the table, dropped into it, and pulled her knees up to her chest. She stared at the teal-haired man like she'd never seen anything like him for a moment, then turned back to Alsti, watching her move with a grace that seemed to pervade everything about her. Fasia blinked. "I was starting to forget what the word hospitality meant."

Vincent grinned. "You ever stick your finger in the electrical socket?" Vincent laughed as he pushed Seri onto her back.

Meanwhile, Sae had finally finished remodeling his new fortress in the center of the now thawed out hot fudge moat! As Sae marched around the ramparts looking officialish in the six foot tall castle tower, he began waving his arms around.
"Soon this entire lawn shall be mine!"
Pointing a plush finger at the shed, Sae ordered his toffees and marshmellows to prepare for an invasion!

Shiane giggled a little, "You think this is a lot? Wait til Lady Caly's half siblings show up. Those two are full elves..." she tilted her head to the side and then added, "So are Aeris and the Oracle Sulthena, whom the latter is here in the Garden, but I'm not sure where the former ran off to. But Aeris is always unpredictable. She might show up for dinner eventually." She smiled again and then rose to help the half elf with utensils. The soup was driving her nuts and she was hungry.

Alsti nodded to the youngers' words, and currently didn't have anything to reply with. Soon she and Shiane had enough bowls and spoons for the time being and started dishing out the soup, placing a bowl in front of the woman at the table. "There you go." her smile was bright as she took a spot across with a bowl of her own.

Shiane gave the male a bowl of soup and spoon and then sat at the table next to Alsti with her own. Without another word she dug into the food and was in complete bliss at the first taste.

Fasia sniffed the soup before spreading it on her tongue. "Hold on... give it a second..." Her eyes fluttered a bit. "Wow... wow... I've never... it's fantastic. I don't think I remember food tasting like this, even back home." She stopped paying attention to every little sound and focused on the warmth running down her throat, with a slight thought about the possibility of food-related magic.

"And you know, it sounds almost peaceful," she said, licking the handle of her spoon and dipping it back in. "Though I can tell you're fighters, even now. That's the life I wanted to avoid, because I wasn't strong enough to take care of others." The wind was blowing outside, the tree branches hitting a window as she took another slow bite to distract herself.
