*sighs* My friend sent me an IM saying "Hi"... but hasn't sent anything in response to my "Hello. How's it going?" neutral Wonder where he is...

*labels pictures of the Red Elderberry* You know... I don't think I've ever had an elderberry before. And yes, the elderberries we have up here ((red and blue)) are edible. Just never ate them before. Hmm...

A lot of the wild berries that grow around here are edible. In fact, for the tribe I was covering my essay on, a large part of the diet was made up of the berries they collected. A nice addition to go with their salmon or other fish they caught, or other meat they hunted. 3nodding

After reading about the things they ate, it makes me want to do a Native American themed dinner for my parents. smile

I always wonder what our place will become in the future. I always thought, if I ever became a famous author or whatever, that our place would become some sort of historical museum tourist site. Sort of like what they did with the places in Fork that were mentioned in Twilight.

I can imagine seeing various signs posted around labeling different aspects of my life, lol. And the stories that would be told about certain things, like the house we built and the retaining wall my Dad built.

Or like the scientists or environmental specialists that would get involved, especially with the various pictures I've taken of flowers and what not... and the pressed flowers I still have from my Flowers of the NW class from community college. Heck! They might just have to make a special place to just display all of the photos of the plants I've seen in my life in this area.

Shadow has returned, so now we're finally conversing. So it wasn't a random "Hi" anymore. xd

*sighs* I'm still worn out from my walk... and my feet still hurt/ache from it too...

*comes back from washing her feet*

My feet felt dusty... so I went to wash them. Not only were they dusty from the dusty gravel road I walked down, but there was black stuff on them too from the insides of my sandals. xd sweatdrop And I also discovered that one of my sandals must have been starting to cut into my skin, because there's a small sore spot on my right foot where there's a cut just into the first layer of skin. whee

So apparently my Dad is taking my Mom out for a dinner date tonight. Meaning I get to stay home and have leftover steak for dinner.

*sighs*

I wish I had someone who would take me out on random dates like that... sad

*plays around on TekTek* I wonder what the Fall Bride items will look like.

I just realized that the bride dresses are pretty much the same design, just slightly different colors and different flowers attached.

*says goodbye to her parents as they head off for their date* *notices folding chairs* neutral

Yeah... apparently Dad is doing some top secret date for Mom. I thought he was just taking her out for dinner to some restaurant. But now that I see he's taking the chairs? I don't know what to make of it.

*sighs*

Well... I should go eat some dinner.

I'm back.

Sitting in the living room playing om my laptop, since I decided to listen to the radio during dinner... and instead of setting the radio setting on my own "micro component system" in my bedroom, I just decided to go on my laptop and sit here in the living room, lol.
