It was also my introduction to tabletop, so I wanted to start easy. Why not just use a character I love as a base? Lawful neutral, yay! ^^

Yay! o wo

*Tries to get alignments that fit the characters, like Camiel's awkward swinging between Lawful and Chaotic, no matter how Good she is*

This program doesn't actually let me do that normally, but that's kind of a weird trait, so yeah. XD

I like Lawful Neutral and Chaotic neutral. ^^

Well, I hear lots of people use "Chaotic Neutral" on their sheets when they really want to play Chaotic Evil... XD;

...

Not sure I have any CN's in the characters I've created so far, though. o.O I do have a chaotic good, though.

Yeah, I've noticed that, too. Like people don't know how to choose their alignment properly. XD

Well, it is an excuse if evil characters aren't allowed... Which I'm given to understand is often the case.

True, True. It's not often one plays a villain is it? XD

True enough, though an evil party member (maybe magically bound to the team Paladin and compelled to help?) could provide some interesting characterization. ^^ Fantasy games do tend to be Good vs Evil, though, so yeah... Evil's mostly an alignment to explain your opponents' motivations with.

Fufufufu~

Though my "Lawful Good" characters tend to be more "Good" than "Lawful". After all, while laws can be useful for regulating society, their purpose should be to promote the highest degree of good... and any law that fails to do so should be changed. Preferably through standard legal channels, but by more dramatic means if necessary.

*Toys with the idea of writing up a campaign where the heroes would be asked to do exactly that* Could be interesting to have the opponent be as good as they are...

To change the very law itself? Is running for public office a part of that? XD

It's not unknown for PCs to rule over a particular area - but I was thinking something more like campaigning to get the residents to petition their (autocrat) leader or something. Or perhaps quietly discussing the matter and pointing out how helpful a change in the law could be; depends on what the ruler's like, really. ^^

Rulers in most of my experience are either too good to be true, and get killed. Or are assholes that eventually need to be killed. XD
So long as they aren't like the Duke from Dragon's Dogma. That lying coward. >.<

So either way, they're all getting eliminated... XD;

*Hides the elder of the kitsune village* o wo He's fun and gets to stay.

I just didn't like the duke. His heroism and fame are nothing but a sham. He's regarded as a hero who slew the Dragon, but the truth is, he didn't fight the Dragon at all.
