I never found the Harvest Moon series to be very interesting. I always think of the things the game features (various farming and household chores) as more of additions that should be tacked on to normal action-oriented games.

You don't know how much farming and livestock raising can be soooo damn addicting. stare
Either way, the laptop is now mine, and so I think we can resume with my normal business. xp

Welcome to the RPR!
Harvest Moon is one of the greatest video game series of all time. I used to own it for N64, then when that imploded, I got it on an emu for it. Still play it at least once a week.
Since then I've played one of the PS2 ones--Save the Homeland--and the GC one, Another Wonderful Life.
Don't like either of them as much as the N64 version. mrgreen

The Gameboy Color ones weren't that bad either, and neither was Friends/More Friends of Mineral Town for GBA.

Eh, to each his own. I just happen to find it a little mundane...
The new look is promising (especially since it provides easy access to many parts of Gaia). For now the conflicting styles, current and new, mke it look gross. I am glad that they added 2 new daily chance landing (though they did disguide them as vendor carts).

Hey... um I'm new here and really I don't know where to pick a good RP. I'm a bit picky now these days. I've had a couple... a series of run in's with terrible RPer's. So if anyone could inquire me of good RP's I would be much obliged.
I usually stick with horror, sci-fi, medival fantasy, and of course orient fantasy as well. Although I get a little high strung about high powered characters, lately I realized that it's ok to be the wimpy guy. I've been known to do great villans but of course I've kinda lost a fan base now with the last thing I did. Heh... not like anyone needs to know.

Welcome, Adus! Most RPs with playable villain roles lack many who are interested, so I'm sure you'll find a suitable villain role if you look. There are plenty of good RPs here, so take your pick. biggrin

Of course, you could make your own . . . I recall a RP that I played in a while back where the maker of the thread abandoned it shortly after creation- I played the villian, and we just made it up for a good long while!

Um...Where to begin?? I'm new here and am always looking for a long lived RP. I'm open to most RPs. I've even dabbled in 'table-top' games, mostly Vampire the Masquerade and Dungeons and Dragons.
Oh one more thing, Harvest Moon is one of the coolest games to play to unwind. ^^

Just awhile ago I checked my inbox to find I've been accepted into the guild (Making me giddy beyond all reason), and I realized I need to introduce myself to the fellow roleplayers of the guild. First of all, I'm 17, so I'm not extremely immature, but I love having silly situations in the real world and roleplaying worlds alike, but prefer more serious roleplays with a dash of hilarity. And as derogatory of a comment it is, I will thoroughly enjoy meeting those who I come across in the guild and look forward to joining the roleplaying worlds that exist within this guild.

Let me be the first this time to say Welcome to RPR!
@windyopal: The V:tM RP in here has long since dormant ever since the original players became inactive. I love V:tM with a passion, but not having other people with the same attitude tends to kill most RPs. So, it's nice to find another person with the same preferences.
@Ivylia: Hi, I'm 17 as well, about to turn 18 this Oct. But age is of no REAL importance here, just good clean fun. Maybe your 'maturity age' might count, but still remember that the members range from all ages, with each their own different styles of RPing.
Aside to Yoder and Magni Prime: I think Cobalt might be our oldest, no?
EDIT: Excuse the length of my welcome, It's 11:15 at night, I'm rigged on sugar, and I'm bored as hell. Either way, still, Welcome!

Haha, yeah, I'm pretty old compared to most of you kids. But from previous discussions, I think it's been determined that Magni-san (haha mahn-yee, I can't pronounce it any other way XD) is older than me. I'm really not that old, anyway, I'm 23. :3
Edit: Welcome to the new kids! *gives you all toasted marshmallows*
