Scarlet with the help of Zenjin made it to the bed where the book still sat. She opened it and to her suprise all the pages where blank. 'What did i do this time you stupid book!' She thought to herself and sighed. "Great...." she mummbled and looked down at the blank book.

Zenjin touched the pages to see if it was some sort of illusion. "What the hell happened?..." he said softly.

Scarlet looked at Zenjin, "Well this book has a life of its own. I have no..." she looked down at the book agian. "Ah must be hungry," she sighed and looked around for her sword. She walked over to it since it was only a few inches behind her and picked it up and then she walked back over to the bed.

"you'll see..." she closed the book and as soon as she did she grabbed the blade with her hand and she began to bleed. The blood dripped onto the book and as it did it was soaked up into it's creases. She let more and more blood flow out on the book.

Zenjin just watched as she bled. He began to get lightheaded but he regained his composure and continued to watch.
