Well well, here I am.
An introduction, one of the most difficult things, yet it should be easy to do. I know myself after all *chuckles*.
Getting a second degree in management, as well as learning photography (I'll always be learning in that matter), I started roleplaying since... Er... A long time, I guess I was something around 14 at that moment. Now I am 24, and still full of ideas for characters, as well, as storylines. Defilitely for literate RP, I am not British, neither American, but have a fair grasp of the English language. My tongue may sometimes seen old fashioned, indeed, but I like it this way.

Welcome to the RPR, SireLoup! Or is there any other name you'd like to be known as?
2nd degree in management? Wow; fear not though, you are not the oldest . . .
Please indulge yourself by joining whatever RP you deem fit to your liking.

Hmm, I just realized when reading sashoyants posts that this guild really HAS changed... but that's how it always goes, everything should change and evolve naturally. Don't think it necessarily is a bad thing... pirate
And gee really, I'm such an Gambinoian, I have already decided on my team! Wee heart
About the new listing fee in the marketplace... seriously? The use of the marketplace will go down sooooo much, either that or the prices will rise even more or something. Can't the Gaia administrators just realize they are giving out money way too easily? Okay not the whole truth but that's the way I feel. Couldn't they hold an event where users have to invest money again? Like the 2004 christmas event? That one should get rid of quite a lot of money...

You're right, but change is a part of any people group. The fact that ours has steadily grown in the past years further shows why our guild has changed.
Wel, Gaia's trying. It happens to be on of their worse-sounding ideas, but it'll definitely help (and they'll get a lighter stress on their servers if less people use the marketplace). They're hoping that a new crop of Gaians will be used to the idea from the beginning, thus able to coax in older Gaians who stopped when the listing fee was instated. I'm really glad that the fee is charged only if a transaction occurs (so just listing an item doesn't cost gold).

Welcome SireLoup! *gives you a Hawaiian flower wreath* *hula dances*...ok that's enough *stops*
Mou: I miss the old gold system, no daily chance, just events, and gold was directly proportional to your post size and quantity. That was good because it really encouraged people to make big posts (which we know is FANTASTIC for rps!) *sigh*
[random]We had this AWESOME thunderstorm yesterday. We had to move the car cause we thought there might be hail, but we ended up standing in the garage, watching the wind blow sheets of rain, and attack the trees! [/random] xp

I agree EKA, but everyone always wants to say 'oh it was better in the old days'. Too bad it's not the old Gaia anymore... far from it. Time to get over it domokun

Ha. Yeah god forbid we become some of those "Why in my day you young whippersnapper, we had to hike uphill both ways in the snow, and it was real snow! None of this whipped marshmallow tripe you get now!"
In the words The Who: I hope I die before I get old.

Naah, old people are cool... well some of them. My grandma is definately cool, 86 years old and still going stronger than me. She swims in the ocean every morning and does all the other old ladies' shopping and is active in church and you name it. Can't believe she has the energy or her body is holding up domokun

You should see my grandma . . .everyday, it's chores, chores, more chores, then maybe some good cooking. whee She can out perform any of us when it comes to chores.
She can do in a couple of hours what takes me and my siblings to do in a day.
