Okay, imagine this.
You just went through a long stage in Super Mario World, and you hit the goal post.
The music plays, Mario strikes a pose, and the screen begins to iris out.
Then just before it goes all black, you fall through into some lava somebody has placed after the post.
You've fallen for a Kaizo Trap.
They were derived from the very challenging Kaizo Mario hacks, which can be seen on Youtube.
Other examples of Kaizo Traps can leave you stuck in a rut, with invisible blocks over you.

I've seen that the way to ensure you don;t fall in the lava at the end would be to find a P Switch, flip it so the row of coins over the lava are solid blocks, then be on your merry way through the post.

Glitchy Towns is glitchy...I was on with a Bunch of MM cosplayers (all now in my friends if you want to see their outfits) and we all go kicked out...we were making a scene too we had a crowd of people watching us make a conga line.

I was watching some of a playthrough of this hack.
The "Air Swimming" part was pretty interesting.
