Hey there, I'm havishanta, but if you call me a nickname that's fine. : )
I'm a freshman and have only been playing French Horn for a year but somehow managed to make it as first chair in the higher band at my high school. ^^;
Before then I had play three years of flute. I've also done piano, guitar, a bit of percussion, and vocal. I'm hoping to take voice lessons soon. : )
I've been told I'm a very expressive musician and I have a phenomenal practice ethic, but I'm TERRIBLE with rhythms. ^^;

Okay there, well Hi. ^^ Im uh, new to this guild, I got invited actually. And uh, okay well about me....Hm....I play in my middle school orchestra, Im in 8th grade, and Im a first year violinist. I played flute last year and got pretty advanced, now Im actually supposed to be in a beginning strings class, but due to my schedule, I got put into a Advanced class, so learning Violin really fast was my problem. But I did it, and I just got finished doing my winter concert. Im now onto a spring fesitival. And I also play guitar. Oh, by the way, My names Caitlin, but I prefer to be called either Caity, or Alex, because of my middle name Alexa.

I was invited to this guild. biggrin I'm in my first year in junior high (7th grade) and Iv'e been playing the flute for 3 years. And apparently, 5 weeks into the school year my teacher randomly said that I was going to play the bassoon. Now I'm four months into playing it, and I'm not too good at it. xD One thing I know though, is that i'm the BEST bassoon player in school. You know why?........ I'm the only bassoon in school. ^^"

Hi, thanks for the invitation to the guild!
The main instruments that I play are violin, piano, and alto sax.
I've been playing music for almost all my life and love it! I also use to be in an orchestra for violin, but now I'm just a soloist. I'm doing my Grade 7 Exam this year. I play alto sax for both Concert Band and Senior Stage Band (Jazz) in my high school. And as for piano, I stopped taking lessons a few years ago but I've got up to Grade 6.
Whoot~

Hello! Thanks for the invite.
You can call me Chilly, and I play clarinet, bassoon, a little bit of piano, and bass drum in our school's drum line. I've been playing clarinet for 4 years. I started bassoon this year, as a freshman in high school. I do a bit of piano and bass drum.
A little about me, well I'm considered one of the best students in the US (no lie) and I have an afro blaugh .

Hi, I'm teh stealtheh. I play piano, french horn and viola. I used to play violin and baritone, but then I stopped. But anyway, with classical music, I'm playing a few pieces. Piano: Haydn Concerto in C major, mvmt. 1, Haslinger Sonatina, Bach March in G, Bach Minuet No. 3. I'm playing other non-classical music on piano. Then on horn I'm playing Marche by Couperin, and Schwartz International Suite Mvmt. 2 (carol of the bagpipes).
I don't play a lot of viola, I know this is meant for violin but I mainly fiddle on my viola xD.

Herro thar.
I've played the cello for nearly three years now and I've been playing the piano ever since I was five. I've always wanted to play Bach's Suite no. 1 well, and I'm skipping all over the place of Suzuki books 4-6. Piano, I am of Royal Conservatory Level 8, but there are certainly much better pianists than I out there. :3 It's nice to be here.

Hi, I'm a senior in high school. I'm in the concert choir, which is an audition-only group, and also into our Swing Choir, which is the best kids in the school. I used to play percussion in band, but I didn't think I'd be able to handle marching band.

well. I'm Alexandria. but my nickname's Bocco. I'm very exeptional in what I do. It's oboe. It's my life. Although I've only been playing for a year and a half, I'm more advanced than what I should be doing in 2 years from now. I can succesfully play vibrito. I really want to go into music theory (yes, I'm in 8th grade) however my band director (future lesson teacher and an oboe musician herself) feels that I should wait until sophmore year. I'm planning to do what she says because I will take all AP classes(: I adore Beethoven and Handel. Lets not forget to mention Buschel (pardon spelling)
I also play piano. However I only play jazz. For my jazz band at school.
Back to oboe, I still can't make useful reeds (sad times) sad but thats okay. hahah.! I'm going to audition for the youth symphonic orchestra biggrin biggrin lets hope that I make it....

Hi, you can call me Elizabeth or Random Girl. I'm a violist and I've only been playing for a few months (since the beginning of sixth grade), but I'm first chair and I'm already playing music that my orchestra director usually gives to the seventh graders at the end of the year. I'm probably a lot younger than most of the people here and I'm looking forward to talking to more skilled musicians.
I compose a little bit, but I'm not that good yet. I hear ideas for music in my head but the moment I get to my viola to figure out the notes they evaporate into thin air. Viola is my main instrument, but I can also play violin and I can kinda play cello even though I have trouble hitting my pitches right. I also play a little glockenspiel but none of the instruments except viola really matter because I can only read alto clef.
I'm first chair in the regular sixth grade orchesra and the advanced sixth grade ensemble. The regular orchesra is horrible but the advanced one is pretty good even though we only meet once a week. I also take private lessons Saturday mornings. So that's me! Ciao, people.

I'm curious to know if anyone actually reads these... ANYWAY.
I am in my high school's marhcing band, concert band, stage/jazz/windjammers band, and orchestra. I can play baritone/euphonium, trombone, bass guitar and string bass.
I started to play euphonium/baritone when I was in fourth grade. The music teacher wanted someone to play the school's baritone... I bought my own euphonium but still played for the school.
In middle school, I was first chair out of five other baritonies. For two years, this little devil of a kid kept reminding me of how badly he wanted to take my chair and that the only reason I was first chair was because I'm a year older than him.
At the high school I am last and second chair, beat out by a senior. The year before a baritone God was a senior, he is now in college so I'm still sad at the fact that I never had the chance to learn from him. My section leader is still a pretty cool guy and has taught me a lot so far.
I started playing bass guitar when I visited my dad one summer, his wife bought a bass guitar at a garage sale. My dad had been playing guitar for a long long time(I don't actually know when he started to play...) but we had jam secessions while I was there.
I was forced to play trombone by thy all mighty and powerful music teacher/conductor/director whatever you wanna call him. He played trombone and switched to baritone so he wants every baritone player to learn trombone..why?I have no clue. But hey, I am pretty good after seven months.
I felt guilty about not playing bass for a while and forgetting everything I had learned that summer at my dad's. I took orchestra and played sting bass. Luckily I had the guidance of my baritone section leader and another upper class man who played trombone in stage band but played tuba on the field.
I have a lot to learn this year to prepare myself for next year. Mainly responsibility and respect. I'll have to keep an eye out for the little brat who wants to take my spot, and the confident and annoying nerd boy who everyone picks on. WOOT.
