Fokiri Village

The reflection of light in Shiki's eyes faded and he stumbled. One hand was on the side of his head and he started panting.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Shiki!" Sandra exclaimed and she was by his side, supporting him. "Please, talk to me!"  

[UkyoKuonji2004]

Some sharp sounds came from Shiki's throat as he fought to stay awake. He soon lost and his body went limp.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Not again," Sandra begged and gently lowered him onto the bed. She had a feeling that something was about to happen.

The laugh of a young girl echoed through the room, and Evan ran into the room, "Sandra!" He exclaimed.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Evan?" Sandra questioned. She hadn't expected to see him here. "What are you doing here?" she asked.  

[UkyoKuonji2004]

"This place is dangerous," Evan said and walked in quickly. He looked down at Shiki in distaste for a moment, "Come on! We gotta get out of here!" He grasped Sandra's hand and tried to pull her with him.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"No, Evan, I can't go," Sandra said, pulling her hand out of his. "You go, but I have to stay and help these people."  

[UkyoKuonji2004]

"You have to Sandra!" Evan pleaded, "You could be killed! Come back to the village with me!"  

[Cecily D Aria]

"No, I can't go back there Evan," Sandra said. "ANd I'm not leaving SHiki behind anyway!"  

[UkyoKuonji2004]

"But that one's just a human!" Evan said, "Don't waste your life over a human Sandralene!"  

[Cecily D Aria]

Sandra's eyes widened slightly when he said that. She looked down at Shiki and then grabbed his knife from his pocket and held it in between her and her brother. "Stay away from me," she told him.

"Sandra! What's gotten into you?!" Evan exclaimed.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"You're not my brother," Sandra replied, watching him carefully. Evan wouldn't call her Sandralene, only her father did that.  

[UkyoKuonji2004]

"What? Of course I'm your brother! Stop spouting that nonsense and come with me!" Evan said.
