"No. We used to live really close to the mountains, so we went skiing lots," Lynn told him as they glided down, "Then we moved out here since Dad was given the restaurant. Dad took it and renovated it."
Mike fell with her and he fell with Amber falling atop of him. He grinned at her, spitting out bits of evergreen pines and snow from his mouth. He laughed at her, looking at her red cheeks and bright eyes. Mike kissed her. He couldn't help it. She looked so pretty with the snow flakes clinging to the ends of her eyelashes and snow glittering in her hair. "Let's try that again shall we?" Mike said as they parted. Mike got up and helped Amber up.

"Seriously?" Jay gawked in shock. He was actually hoping to be teaching Lynn a thing or two, but it seemed like she was probably more skilled than himself. Perhaps he'll find something else to be 'romantic' with Lynn. Though, his definition of 'romantic' was a little unusual sometimes.
Amber was a little surprised by his sudden kiss, but smiled in response. "Hmm... I don't really feel like getting up," she joked as she got up anyways. "That was the best fall I had yet." She laughed, mainly at herself, the last fall didn't hurt as much since Mike cushioned her fall.

Lynn gave him an enigmatic smile as she continued to glide down. "You were hoping to teach me, hm?" Lynn said what he was thinking.
Mike sat down with her and threw a mini snowball at her. "Oh really? Do I have to bombard you with snowballs to get you up?" he threatened jokingly.

"Maybe," he answered ambiguously as they reached the end of the hill. "But then again, since you already know how to ski, we can try bigger hills rather than the newbie hill."
"Hey! I already got up!" Amber frowned stepping back in reaction of his little snowball exploding on its impact with her. Unfortunately, that little step had enough energy to cause her to start moving again. Eyes a little bit wide, Amber began to slid down the hill again. Gosh, it looked a little frightening now that they were almost at the bottom. When Amber did reached the bottom, she toppled over due to her futile attempt of stopping herself.

"Sure why not," Lynn replied agreeably. Lynn was very woozy, but followed Jay to the ski lift that took them higher. By this time, Lynn was barely thinking straight. It seemed her cold was developing into a fever. Lynn shook herself to take control. As they got to the top. "Race you," she said playfully, and sped down the hill.
Mike followed after Amber and held out his hand. "Boy, you're terrible," he grinned, "Looks like I'll be your skiing teacher too."

Jay grinned and accepted her challenge. He sped down himself, though he had to say Lynn had quite some skill, especially for a body that wasn't that athletic. He trailed behind her, slowly overtaking her, but evened out throughout. It was a pretty even run, though probably when they reach the bottom it'd be time to head in. Dinner then sleep, then another day. But, the next day would have a lot of preparing going on, that's why just about everyone in Glee Club was out on the slopes now.
Amber took his mittened hand and he pulled her back up. She must comment of the strange feeling it was to be pulled up by someone else, especially by your hand. It felt as though your arm would be pulled off, yet somehow you ended up standing. Odd it was. "Obviously," Amber pouted. "This is my first time, you can't expect me to be stellar at it."

By the end of the day, Lynn was pooped. She just wanted to go to sleep and curl up and do nothing. Jay tried to kiss her goodnight, but she placed her hand on his mouth. Her reason being, to keep from spreading whatever bug she had. "Nope," she told him and trotted off to her room.
"Of course not," Mike laughed yanking her all the way into his arms. ... After a good meal with Amber it was time to say good night. "Night," he smiled and kissed Amber on the forehead, then her lips. He turned to go to his room and saw how Lynn totally snubbed him. He walked with Jay. "Wow. Why do you put up with her," Mike said, looking over his shoulder, "That chick is a total b***h."

Amber smiled, bidding Mike a good night as she entered the room after Lynn. "How was your day Lynn?" Amber asked conversationally.
Jay frowned slightly at Lynn's action and sadly entered his room. Though, strangely enough, Mike's remark made Jay smiled. "That's what you think," he grinned cryptically quite pleased that he got to see a side of Lynn that no one else did.

"Mm," Lynn let out as she pulled on a low v-neck t-shirt and sweatpants. Lynn flopped onto her bed, relieved she could sleep now. "How was yours?" she returned, half-awake.
Mike shrugged. "I got to question your taste in girls. Sure she's hot, but like even if she's got a nice face and a good body, but there's got to be something more you know," Mike said as he pulled off his clothes, leaving his boxers. He shivered so pulled on a zip-up sweater. "I mean like. I'm not calling you shallow, but I don't think you should be taking s**t like that."

"I'm bruised all over," Amber groaned as she changed into her pajamas, most likely the next day she'd be aching all over too. Amber plopped down onto her bed looking over at Lynn. "You know Lynn, you should be a bit nicer, particularly to Jay," she suddenly told her. Amber thought that Lynn was actually nice, considering there was this one time that Lynn actually helped Amber pick up her fallen book back in their freshman year. Lynn probably didn't remember it, but Amber did since back then she didn't have basically any social interaction at all.
"Hey," Jay started a little annoyed by Mike's words. "She's not a total b***h you know, she's not like that at all. I'm some people would have noticed it, like Amber for one, she seems observant enough." Jay changed into simple pajama pants and a plain white tee. Unlike Mike, he wasn't quite the type to strut around practically naked. Plus, Jay couldn't deny that he wasn't just an teensy bit conscious about his own body when he was next to Mike, especially like that.

Lynn sat up and looked at Amber. "Why do you say that?" Lynn asked.
"Ah, sorry about that," Mike hung his head down. Mike then strode to pick up his PSP. "How far have you gone with her?" Mike asked curiously as he played C.O.D. This was a good time for a little man talk.

"Well..." Amber began a little nervous and timid still. Sitting straight back and cross-legged, holding her calves like a child, Amber chose out appropriate words to explain her thoughts. "Well, I see that Jay likes you a lot and sometimes you're a little ambiguous with your actions. You should be more... open," she explained with a smile, then added quickly with wider eyes. "I'm not saying that your relationship has to sexual or anything, it can be platonic..."
"All the way of course," Jay grinned proudly. Despite his disappointments, Jay somehow managed to still be optimistic about things. Perhaps it was due to his past. Loved piano, but had to hide it. But, now he could fully express himself, thus the reason why he didn't give a damn about what anyone thought. Glee Club changed him. Glee Club freed him.

Lynn stared at Amber. Amber had changed, Lynn had deduced that. But now Amber was giving her advice on love. What was more, Amber was completely right. Lynn slipped on her shoes as she stood up. "You're right," Lynn said, leaving the room. Lynn tromped right up to Jay's door and knocked on it. Mike opened it. "Leave," Lynn ordered and slammed the door, leaving Mike outside staring at it. Lynn looked at Jay. She approached him and sat down on the bed. She then leaned over to kiss him. "Sorry."
Mike frowned. He still didn't like her very much. He didn't know where else to go, but knocked on the door to Amber's room. "Oh, Kurt. Uh, I was looking for Amber," Mike said. "She's here. Come in," Kurt smiled and Mike watched his eyes flicker to his bare chest and stomach. Mike zipped up his sweater gingerly.

Jay raised an eyebrow at Lynn's sudden arrival. Actually her apology was of most surprise. In fact, he was so surprised that he almost asked 'for what?' As if she didn't have enough to apologize for already. Jay didn't want to act stupid, nor did he want to ignore the fact that Lynn's 'orders' were not always something he could pleasantly abide to. "Really?" He said instead, a hand reaching up and softly landed itself on Lynn's head.
Not long after Lynn had left, Kurt had arrived, visiting. Learning from her mother's proper hosting skills and traditions, Amber stood to make some hot cocoa for them. A bit later, there was a knock on the door. Lynn was back already? "Could you get that Kurt?" Amber asked, a question that would make her mom scold her for. Amber turned to look at the door when she vaguely heard a very familiar voice. "Oh?" She blinked a little surprised. "Hi Mike, cocoa?"

"Yeah. I didn't mean to snub you like that," Lynn nodded, moving closer. She kissed him again, this time with more force. "Let me make it up to you?" Her hands were at the hem of his pajama pant.
"Evening, Amber. Yeah. That would be nice," Mike agreed and sat down on the opposite bed of Kurt. Mike was suddenly very conscious and zipped his sweater higher.
