Bridge/waterfall

Mae glanced at him from the corner of her eyes.
"About Damian and such.." She said quietly.
She thought about Damian again. She wonder how you looked like since he was in a new body or what his new powers were,was he stronger now?

"So you know he's back then, huh?" Nero muttered and propped his head against his hand. He heard a little of his other self talking, and the parts he heard were about Damian being alive and all.

Mae shrugged.
"He could be..." She said.
Combing her hair back with her small fingers, Mae sighed.
"I think I'll head home now." She said,tiredly. It was awfully late,probably 2am. Mae needed sleep very badly but the Damian situation would definitely keep her up. The Johan problem,too.
Mae decided she'd sleep with the lights on and have milk tea to help her sleep.

"You sure you don't need to stay a little longer, toots?" Nero asked and glanced at her. She looked a little shaken up, but she looked like she needed sleep, too.

Mae shook her head.
"No..unless you want me to?" She asked,tightening her bag strap. She then looked at him,her red eyes slightly pink.

Ready to say no, Nero turned to face her and saw that sad look on her face. Dang it! Why did women have to play guilt trips so well?! "Fine." he muttered.

"Well..What do you want to do,Mr.God of Wind?" She said,cracking her fingers. If he had no idea, she was going to suggest Marble Slab Creamery. That was her favorite ice cream store since she was still missing teeth! A sprinkled covered waffle cone sounded good to her.

Nero scratched the back of his head in thought. "Umm, I don't really care." he admitted.

Mae narrowed her eyes at him.
"You didn't really want me to stay,didn't you?", her voice annoyed yet again. She didn't wait for him to reply before talking again.
"Ridiculous. " She muttered,shaking her head.
I'll just go get that ice cream by myself! That jerkface...
The worst thing you could do is faking that you want to hang out with me!

Nero blinked and rolled his eyes. "Man you women get sentimental over everything!" he yelled. How his other self got her to calm down was beyond him!

Mae placed her hands on her hips,obviously offended. But she couldn't find anything to say back.
She opened then closed her mouth then grunted.
"Why do you piss me off so much?! More than any other guy I've met!" She snapped,stomping her right foot. Sure she was moody,but he made her emotion flare even more. That pissed her off even more.
She turned and folded her arms,pouting like a baby.
"Stupid jerk. I'd punch him in the face if he wasn't cute." She mumbled under her breath. Angry,she began making a small line of ice circle a branch on a tree.
She huffed, then glanced behind her at Nero and huffed again.

"That's 'cause I'm a god, toots!" Nero shot back. Man was she annoying! Wait... "Oh I get it!" he snarled. "You're trying to piss me off so you can chat with the other me again, huh?" he growled. The other him always got all the women. Even men.

Mae whipped her head back at him.
"The other you? " She growled.
"Why would I want him back. He's creepy!"She scoffed. Does he really think she's that low?
But at least he knows how to respect women and not piss me off!
She walked up to him and jabbed her finger into his shoulder,pushing it back a little.
"I'm not trying to piss you off,you're pissing me off,toots." She said,mocking him a bit. There was a good foot between their height,making Mae have to look up at him.
"Maybe if you didn't piss me off so much, I would like you more!" She added,still pissed.

Nero clenched his jaw. Her attitude, her spunk, her comebacks. All of those things would usually repel him, but it actually pushed him towards her. Literally! He couldn't explain why he did it, but the next thing he knew was that instead of shouting something back, he kissed her.

Mae's eyes grew wide as his lips met hers.Her heartbeat accelerated a bit.
That was her first kiss,nothing she pictured at all.
Why..is he kissing me?
She pushed him away, her face pink from blushing.


You..I..Uh..You..kissed me!" She said,shocked.
