Egan O'Connor "Come in Brian." He called not bothering to get up from his desk. This young man had proven to be a most worthy addition to his gang. He was resourceful and had some connections. Both of these skills would be put to test soon enough..

Brian O'Callighan Brian entered the office. He closed the door silently. Siting down in the chair across from Egan. "Well sir. As we know business and people are up. But room in the basement has dropped." He leaned back from the seat. Scratching his chin a bit. Trying to gather his thoughts. "I was wondering if I can get a loan to open a shop so I can work." He scratched his head a bit. He was hoping for a yes.

Egan O'Connor Egan smiled "Well do you have a place in mind yet? And about how much would you be asking?" He opened a box on his desk and offered the kid a cigar. "You want a drink? Or a smoke?" He was ready to listen to his pitch, he knew it would be well thought out and put together. A nice chnage from some of the chumps who ask for money and don't think they have to pay him back.

Brian O'Callighan Brian nodded a bit. "Three places. One by Miss Fagans shop. Sadly the others are by the Itilian and Spanish mafia hideouts." He pulled a book out of his pocket. Opening to where he had prices written down. "The ones by the hideout the want about a thousand for. Mostly because the people are crooked owners. As to by Miss Fagan... They want about three hundred for. It's a three level with a basement. Figure we can hide guys there, hold meetings, I can have a real place to stay." Smiling and looking at his boss. "Plus gun priorities for us. And I might be able to get my hands on some enemies with weapons of lower grade."

Egan O'Connor Egan folded his fingers together. "I see, well as things are bound to get a little more 'active' soon I would not suggest we keep our toys so close to enemy hands." Taking a drag from his cigarette he continued. "Well what do you say to that?"

Brian O'Callighan Brian nodded a bit. "Yes. Mostly since I got some big plans." Smiling a bit more at his boss. Big plans that he got from the English. "The shop isn't to far away. And again… priority for us. The main point is to get space to work. Down stairs I have enough room to make pistols. Nothing bigger." Tucking the book away. Rubbing his temples with a sigh. "So... will you help sir? I can load my truck and drive it over. The three hundred makes it so own it."

Egan O'Connor "Seems a sound enough investment." as he moved to the safe he had under the bar and began to take out the cash. "Always pay with cash less for Hoover and his heel hounds to follow" Collecting the bills he walked back to his desk. "Here you can do the second count and don't worry about signing the ledger, I have a long memory." He added with a smile he knew he didn't need to tell Brian what happened to those who tried to short him.

Brian O'Callighan Brian nodded, taking the money slowly. "I should easily make up the money within a week or two." Smiling he put the money in his inside jacket pocket. Standing up with a big grin on his face. "Thank you sir. Is there anything you need before I go and buy the place." One step closer to his own shop. Another step closer to a home of sorts.

Egan O'Connor Egan waved him off. "If I need anything from you, you can be sure I will find you and let you know." This was good, Brian was trustworthy enough and Egan was looking to grow his empire and illegal arms dealing was a great new revenue stream.

Brian O'Callighan Brian nodded, smiling a great smile. "Yes you will." He left the office. Heading to his basement to load up his truck. Placing parts, tools, manuals, ammo, and a few weapons. Placing a tarp on top to keep them hidden. It was all looking up to him. A place to live-ish, a job place, kinda his own boss. But mostly room to work.

ROXY Roxy was just finishing a long night of performing at the Harlequin. It had been a month since she had seen her now boyfriend, Richard O'Sullivan. O'Sullivan was one of the leading members of the Irish mafia in Chicago. He left for important business in New York. Roxy kept herself busy working and just seeing friends while she waited. She had many colleagues in show business but she had to be careful of the guys in the mob because she was a very attractive woman but at the same time the guys were very fearful of O'Sullivan because he is a combat veteran. Roxy finished her night at the bar with her bag of clothing all packed up. She wore a beaded flapper dress, nylons, and dress shoes. She had her fur coat draped on the bar stool. She always ended her shift with a glass of water from the bar tender before going home.

Richard O'Sullivan Irish Mob-Lieutenant Richard O’Sullivan walked through the streets of Chicago after spending his morning organizing the inventory that he’d just brought in from New York. It had been a long arrangement, but in the end O’Sullivan had secured a enough military stock weapons and ammuniton to outfit the entire Irish Mob. Crates of 1903 Springfields, complete with bayonets, Thompson Submachine guns, and even a Browning Automatic Riffle or two. He knew that the boss was coming up with something big, but he didn’t know what. O’Sullivan went in the side door of the Harlequinn as to not draw attention to himself. He missed Roxy terribally, but he knew that he needed to get business dealt with before he had his tender reunion with Roxy. He shrugged, unbuttoning his Marine over coat that he’d retained since his discharge several years earlier. Under it he wore a grey suit that he’d picked up while he was in New York, to give him a bit more of a diverse wardrobe. O’Sullivan knocked on O’Connor’s door waiting to be admitted so he wasn’t shot. In this town people had a right to be paranoid, particularly in the business they were in. O’Sullivan actually had started carrying a model 1911 Colt .45 in a shoulder hoster that he kept under his left arm and under his suit coat. This was in addition to the brass knuckled trench knife that he’d also kept since the end of the Great War.

Egan O'Connor "Enter" came the baritone voice through the door. Egan marked off his loan to Brain and planned to visit his shop soon. Closing the wall safe he let out a sigh and lit another cigarette and poured himself another cup of black coffee.

Richard O'Sullivan Irish Mob-Lieutenant O’Sullivan walked in once he was bid entry and closed the door before standing infront of O’Connor’s desk with his over coat draped over his arm, “Mission’s a success boss.” He said, “We’ve got enough rifles, and ammunition to fight the War all over again.” A light chuckle left his lips as he set his coat on the back of one of the chairs, “Even got the bayonets for the 03’s and plenty of drum magazines for the thompsons.” He was pleased with how the deal had turned out and the best part was that he didn’t have to kill anyone to ensure it’s success, “Can I ask what I missed while I was gone?” He asked knowing that they were getting ready for something with the amount of weapons that he’d just brought back.

Egan O'Connor "Been real quiet, I hear the Spanish don's missus run out on him again. Seems he will offer the queen's ransom for her return. The Chinese been setting up more of those opium dens, but the brass doesn't seem ta min. Then that Shayla girl seems to have found a soft spot with a man who runs things, the little hot head must have no idea who she has taken to having tea with. Then our boy Brian had been rooming with her at the Agincourt but now he will be setting up his won shop. I think this quiet is calm before the storm, I don't trust the Jerries one bit..." He trailed off to take a swig of his coffee. "But other than that no violations of the truces everyone is playing nice and quiet. "
