[RAID] Attack on Rocket

"Aah! Damnit!" Lin grunted, as the Rocket lashed out at him; now it just seemed like a fight would be necessary, which was fine by him as his rage ebbed back up.
Forget not trying to kill anyone.

He stumbled back as the Trainee caught him in the face, then yelled and launched himself back at him, again trying to punch with his right hand and trying to grab ahold of the Rocket with his left.

Moriko looked rather disturbed by this, but Jeeves seemed to understand.
The little grass type narrowed his eyes, then began to try and Wrap the Rocket again; if he had to, he'd try and stop both humans from killing each other with his vines.

Kiss let out a huff, crossing her arms over her chest with a slight frown.


Her attention turned to Perdy, being hit with a dark type attack. He could handle that, she looked around instead for her next Target.
Well there was that. A Delibrid trying to give its wonderful- and by wonderful she meant scary gifts, to Dove's Rapidash.
Kiss lowered her stance a little, her cheeks sparking pushing into a Volt Tackle on the Delibird that was attacking Theirry.

The hit got his attention, swooping his wings out wide as a few feathers fall off of him, that screech really did a number on his nerves, normally an attack like that wouldn't hurt him, but he was finding himself struggling to keep himself from falling out of the sky.

Vince found himself smiling at the friendly introduction by the man before him. So it was Andre, then. "Oh my name is Vince." For a moment, he considered offering his hand to shake as was the customary greeting, but then thought better of it as it did not seem appropriate given the circumstances. Vince was shocked to then hear the man laugh slightly. It didn't seem to make sense. Still if he was comfortable enough with the situation to do so, it would seem that he was in good company. Vince made sure to stay close to his "protector" making sure not to stray more than a few steps away, glancing around nervously despite having a new companion nearby. He still hadn't seen or heard from Larry. In fact he hadn't heard much of anything that brought much comfort, lot's of Pokemon crys and sounds of massive impacts and explosions. This really was like a war zone.

Meanwhile, before digging further into the earth, Larry was pleasantly surprised at the gift the man now offered him. For a moment, the Aron was too shocked to react to the kind gesture. Small beads of tears began welling up along the edges of the pokeon's bright blue eyes. His own trainer had never given him a present of any kind, let alone one as delicious as this. Come to think of it his own trainer didn't really pay much attention to him at all, always fiddling with his notes and staring at rocks, never caring about his own hopes and dreams. Finally after taking several moments to process the generosity behind the gift he took the berry in his mouth greatfully and gave a joyful "Aron Arr" to the man. After ingesting the Oran berry, Larry felt a little bit better and used his newfound strength to burrow faster, there were others that needed his help. While doing so, he pondered whether he could adopt this other kind man as his new trainer.

He could feel a gap in the dirt up ahead, it was much smaller than the one prior, perhaps a small pokemon (Astal) like itself?

Larry would manage to unearth one knocked out shiny Eevee. Poor Astal was just laying there, but at least able to breathe better now that the Aron had come to his rescue!

Pop’s Dizzy Punch connected quite fully with the Lucario’s face, and he spun in almost a pirouette before stumbling backwards, but he lunged towards her again – but instead of attacking, he aimed to hug her instead. While the attack had successfully lowered his health, his type combination made him resistant to normal-type attacks.

The very inaccurate Lampent gave an uncertain cry as Fraener’s attack hit, and the poor pokemon thudded onto the sand, unconscious.

The bird was indeed tired after loosing her Hyper Beam, and took the Toxic in full. With a disgusted look, Odette shook the gunk off as best she could, but its effect took hold regardless of how clean or dirty her feathers were now. Zeus, on the other hand, took both attacks, blocking any of the Pay Day from hitting his trainer.

The large Arcanine headed directly for Claire at a blinding speed left her very little time to react. Thankfully, she didn’t need much time. One hand raised to her mouth as a sharp whistle pierced the air, and almost immediately her Pidgeot abandoned her previous target and sped through the air to land heavily in front of the Arcanine, her wings spread out. Claire jumped onto the bird’s back and held on as tight as she could, her Pikachu clinging to her as well, as the bird took the full force of the Extremespeed attack. It knocked her backwards, yes, but the Pidgeot used the momentum to launch herself into the air more easily, quickly gaining altitude with a few powerful beats of her wings to keep the trip up and out of the way of attacks. The Pikachu, though, didn’t want to leave them empty-handed/pawed, so he sent a Thunderbolt hurtling towards Link.

Claire pulled her masterball from her belt and recalled her Jirachi, then held the masterball to her lips for a few seconds before loosing the small legendary onto her Pidgeot's back. A brief exchange occurred, and the small legendary seemed to be concentrating quite hard on something - but just what that something was wasn't easily apparent. Its trainer, leaving the Jirachi to float there while it focused, silently urged her bird to veer down into the din of battle once more. With a speed that made it a little difficult for the Elite to hold on, Odette whipped past pokemon and trainer alike to grab the arms of first a Grunt (Rocket 6) and the driver (away from Larry) in her taloned feet, doing her best not to injure them but honestly, she didn't have time to worry about them other than whether they were there or not. The rest of the Rockets, unfortunately, were pretty much lost causes at this point. All of her remaining pokemon were recalled in the process.

The Jirachi floating above the group suddenly spread her arms out, tiny fingers splayed with a look of happiness upon her face - it appeared whatever she'd concentrated so hard on had worked. She didn't have time to be that happy about it, though, as suddenly Odette sped past and Claire grabbed the legendary with one arm on the way past. The Elite didn't appear to be stopping, nor slowing down - in fact, she seemed to be picking up speed.

The reason for that became apparent within about three seconds, when suddenly two small lights flashed for a split second - one inside each van - and in less than a second the entirety of both vehicles creaked and groaned before every single window blasted outward, sending splinters and shards of glass spraying in all directions. Almost instantaneously, each van itself exploded with a deafening noise and burst apart, with large pieces of shrapnel and charred chunks of vehicle parts sped through the air. Every piece of glass, every bit of shrapnel and steel exploded outwards with blinding speed, hurtling in every direction - including at the surrounding trainers.

((The Rocket vehicles have exploded, posing a threat to every trainer in the area! Everybody must roll one 20-sided die to determine how much damage your character will take.

16-20: No injuries! Possible exfoliation treatment from blasted sand.
11-15: Minor injuries. Cuts, scrapes, and possible bruises or sprains, etc.
4-10: Moderate injuries. Broken bones, gashes, embedded shrapnel, etc.
1-3: Serious injuries. Dire bleeding, major fractures, unconsciousness, etc.))

It was! The shiny evee was much easier to lift out of the dirt than the nice man was. After successfully bringing the Evee completely out of the dirt, Larry took a scecond to make sure it was ok and that it could find it's way back to it's trainer. . The tiny pokemon nudged the shiny with it's cold metallic snout in an effort to hasten it's conicousness.

There had been a flash of panic when she rememberd that she had dropped Pastin's ball.
Wtih her team doing what they could to handle the battles, Rosie hurried over to try and find where her ball might have gone, obviously buried and obviously rolled away somewhere.
Though it was good fortune that it didn't take as long as it could have to find the Love ball.
Letting out a light sigh, she placed the ball to her hip.

She got lucky, who knows how lost he could have been, finding a covered pokeball in the desert.

With was a yelp as Link was zapped by the Thunderbolt, leaving the Arcanine a bit dazed and weakened. The Arcanine shaking his head and snarling as his target flew off. Catching up with him was Yuri, who stood next to the dog and watched as Claire took off... and at a rather quick rate.

... Wait... something wasn't...

KA-BOOM!

His eyes wide, Yuri instinctively ducked as the vans simultaneously exploded. Though by some miracle, he didn't get hit by any of the debris flying through the air.

However, the reason became clear as he heard a mournful howl, just before a thud on the sand next to him. Link just happened to be between Yuri and the explosions. The Arcanine taking the force of the blast and the flying debris instead, and was now injured and unconscious.

"Link!" he shouted, kneeling down next to the Arcanine. "Dammit." He then quickly looked up to see how the others had fared.
