Alyssa listened to his mom, paying attention to what his mom told her. She may not be a prodigy but she was smart. She smiled and put up her hair wuickly. She washed her hands and carried the plates out to who they belonged to.

Adrian was cooking up a storm while his dad managed the bar. then one of the guys smacked alyssa's but then it got dead quiet and everyone backed up from him because adrian saw this and the vein in his forhead look like it was about to burst.

Alyssa let out a gasp feeling a hand suddenly hit her butt. She stopped in her spot and noticed everyone got quiet and stared. She quickly walked away towards the back to Adrian and noticed how upset he looked and she softly placed a hand on his arm. "I...I'm fine Adrian..." she told him.

Adrian looked at alyssa and said "no its not fine we had a problem with this new guy for some time and he pisses me off thats why we lost so many waitresses because of him." adrian walked out of the kitchen his dad said trying to calm him down "adrian calm down we all had enough ok." adrian didn't list he walked up to the guy and said "steve your out of here and the gang." then steve stood up he stood 7 foot 5 inches and was all muscle he laughed and pushed adrian down to the ground he just laughed and he said "look shrimp i ain't leaving cause i ain't afraid of......" adrian was up in the air superman punched the guy out cold. he stood up calm and walked back to the kitchen cooking

Alyssa watched him as he left out of the kitchen and through the gang to this guy. She rushed over when he was pushed to the ground but the guys kept her out of the way. She knew Adrian could take care of himself but that didnt keep her from worrying. She watched as he knocked the guy out cold and walk back to the kitchen. She sighed softly and composed herself going back to work cleaning tables, refilling drinks, and serving food.

Adrian finished for the day and sat in the kitchen. the gang took Steve's gang stuff away and threw him out side. adrian got on his phone and started playing a game to calm down he was still mad

Alyssa watched them as she cleaned up the tables and cleared the dishes. She carried the dishes to the kitchen and saw Adrian playing on his phone. She kissed his cheek as she walked by carrying the dishes to the sink.

Alyssa laughed and splashed him back. Once they stopped she laughed and smiled ringing out her shirt in the sink since it was now soaked. She was glad she could make him laugh and lighten his mood.

Alyssa looked at him when he pulled her close. She smiled kissing him back and blushed at his words. "And you're the best thing to happen to me Adrian" she said and kissed him again.
