Splish. "AHA! I GOT IT!" Tamiya dunked the drink into her mouth and stood with a confident, open legged stance with her hands on her hips. She tipped her head back and guffawed. "I skip my next turn!"

This time, Nucleo had the ball. If it was like last time, then... "But now you throw it over, right?" he said, intercepting the ball and, somewhat awkwardly, sending it back to Nucleo.

So that was another 'score' - it was... nice? To score? He had no idea, but it was a confirmed good thing to do. "All right." he said as their opponents tried to score on them. He got to the ball first. "Are we winning?" he asked, as he sent the ball back to Nucleo. He thought he had the hang of it now - hit, hit back, score. It made sense; He could do that.

She shook her head. It was tough, losing. But, again, this was her calling. She tossed a ball happily into the cups across from her.

"Yeah!" Nucleo stumbled after the ball to try and set it! He found himself laughing at the frantic pace of it. Moving out of the way, he let Sephos get the opportunity to follow through and slam the ball back!

"I mean, it's fun right?" He glanced over with a smile. Having fun with friends was all Nucleo needed to consider a game a win.

He supposed so. It felt fun enough, if this was fun. He did notice that, when he pushed the ball over the net and it fell onto the sand on the other side, he did feel a rush of something good. If that was fun, then...

"I'm glad!" Nucleo grinned at Sephos's words. The other greenblood seemed a man of few words, so the ones he said counted for real. Nucleo was starting to feel less bad about sort of dragging him here now that Sephos seemed to be enjoying himself! It made Nucleo happy to think he'd made a new friend!

"Oops! Ack!" The barista yelped as his pass wasn't quite as smooth as he'd wanted. Hopefully Sephos could catch it no problem!

Sonnie shuffled around his drinks, swapping out his fizzy lifting drinks for his delicious blueberry sodas. Guo didn't seem to like that, he realized, the blueblood had swapped out his original blueberry drinks for more orange gruice! He held his hands to his mouth in a gasp. He hoped that he hadn't offended the other troll.

His ping pong ball landed in a nasty mixture this time. It looked like his opponent would have to share this one with him, though. It didn't look like he would make it, though...

Well, ok, so the catch was awkward, but Sephos knew he wasn't keeping it for long. He bounced it back to Nucleo with less than ease but more than random flailing. Somehow, they were managing.
