Le Chapeau Cattra Nightblade Cattra Nightblade Le Chapeau Not good in a good and evil sense but good in a wanting to do good sense. Like helping others.
still no. I think some people are going to be more inclined towards bad than good, and some good than bad, depending on the upbringing, parents, circumstances, etc, but that argument "Everyone is born to do good" is wishy washy anyways because you can present multiple circumstances of plenty of sane people, with good upbringings, doing bad. But they'll say "They WERE MEANT to do good, but did bad for X reason" so if they're being all feely goody, you can't win, because they're probably being dumb. On that point, I don't think anyone is Meant to do Evil either. I think (with the exception of huge ouside influences) that people's fate's are for the most part their own, the hand of God, chance, luck, or whatever one may like to call it, can play a role now and then, but at the end of the day, a person's on will will be the biggest factor. Hat/Sam says: (4:32:28 PM) Your whole argument Hat/Sam says: (4:32:35 PM) Is based off of "meant" to do good Hat/Sam says: (4:32:46 PM) All I'm asking is if people are basically good Hat/Sam says: (4:32:47 PM) xD Hat/Sam says: (4:32:50 PM) Not changing Hat/Sam says: (4:33:03 PM) Not upbringings or whatever you're saying Hat/Sam says: (4:33:16 PM) But deep down, doesn't everyone want to make other people happy?
As I posted on MSN xP
Well then the answer to your REAL question is this then: Are we just animals trying to survive, or are we something more, but even then wheather there is a "true good" affects those answers too.

I think that deep down people have the instinct to be nice to others and form friendly relationships with people.
