"Did you not notice the Strandeds that we saved the other day being reluctant to go to safety..?"

"That's just simple fear of rumors. Everyone knows COG would kill for more soldiers that they're not getting. They would never draft out men though."

"Then where are all of the Standeds going..?"

"Going? Deeper into Jacinto, where it's safer."

"If given these two choices, where would you prefer your sister and I to be: On the outskirts of town where Locust attacks are often with little or no Gears to protect us, or inside town with lots of Gears to protect us?"

"There may be plenty of Gears. But it doesn't mean they'll be able to protect you."

"Where you prefer us those? Alone with no one to help us or in the city where the Locust are less likely to attack?"
