Uh-huh... I love how the Refuge was made to be nonjudgmental, even when it comes to how happy someone seems to be. I don't see the wrong in someone who happens to be very happy. Way to be downers.

yeah! why should it matter how happy someone is? in fact, people should be commended and recieve acclaim for being constantly happy! this world is a dark place, and we need happy people to lighten it up!
either happy people or funny people...either way works on my count...or both! that'd work!

I'm a realist. Only three or four things make me happy. One of those being my girlfriend becca and the other being music. The other two involve illegal drugs.

That doesn't mean you should diminish the happiness of others. If those four and only those four things make you happy, why would you spend your time online away from said four things?
On another note: it seems kind of contradictory for a realist to be role-playing. I'm not acusing you of lying, I was just merely voicing a thought out of curiosity.

ADD, overactive imagination and a knack for story telling. if I dont get them out of my system then I tend to daydream. The whole reason I started Rping was because my psychiatrist recomendded it.

I too am a realist, but realism doesn't equate with pessimism. Realism is the view of seeing things as they truly are. True, the world may be an unhappy place, but don't mistake jubilation for naivety or ignorance.
It may seem ironic to be an RPer and a realist, but being a realist might only apply to how one views the real world. In a fantasy world with original characters, one can take on the personality of any number of varying characters with differing views. That's why RPing is so much fun!

I'm a realist myself and find myself disgusted with alot of the issues these days.
But I prefer to try and keep an optimistic outlook of the world!
