Guardians & Demon King Part III (Ending)

"I'm not Skurai, but I can bet that we're heading right for the beastie that we saw before we were sidetracked." Eiji rubbed the back of his head, hoping that his brother would take a little precaution before rushing into this kind of battle.

On the main deck, Skurai stares out at the gates of space because of their warping. They would be reaching Egypt soon and he did not know what exactly to expect. "Alright, begin the charge. We only have a limited window before a hell breaks loose." One of the pilots nodded as they began the Judgment Day Charge.

Halcian was behind Skurai, watching all this take place. "Are you sure about this, My Lord? I mean to take on a deity like Progenitus is quite insane, even with Juggernaut." Halcian looks down as he speaks, retaining some form of respect for his reckless leader.

Skurai responds, not bothering to look back, " Hal... you're my most trusted ally. I value your input more than anyone else on this vessel. Please... have faith in me." Skurai sounded as sincere as he could manage his his hands balled into a fist.
Halcian's eyes widened as he realized Skurai's tone, "I'm sorry yo have doubted you, my Lord. I will follow you into the arms of death any day!!!"

Sasori watched warily while Skurai gave his orders. Like Halcian, she was not so sure about this but unlike him, she was not so willing to lose her life to such a force.

"I hope is is right, for all of our sakes" she mumbles.

Acos shrugged. "I was hoping it would be Cario..." she said.

Tarik follows the women. They get to the steps of the church. Tarik sees smoke and dust whifting from a nearby mountain. "I would guess the explosion came from over there." he says pointing.

Just as they get to Egypt, Sasori sees out of the window that there was some weird green tinge to the sky and when it cleared, she could see a smoldering crater in a nearby mountain.

"Hey, what's that? Maybe a meteor?"

Roarke felt his armor and spark stone shudder slightly. "It was that 'Wrath' person everyone seems so interested in, I sense," he muttered. Amiric tilted his head slightly, stepping through the gateway. He nodded to Elaise and Willow, signaling it was safe.

elaise smiled at him slightly before following him into the gateway willow right behind her. she jumped slightly as mina jumped from willows shoulder to hers and frowned before rubbing the bird on the head.

Amiric tilted his head slightly. A faint smile crossed his face. "Do you think we should have told Eiji, Acos, Sasori and the others that this method is actually faster than a space jump?" he murmured.

(Sry guys, I went to an hotel for this weekend to go to an anime convention...however we had a large flood forcing us to stay for a few extra days. Lost a good friend, but death doesn't phrase me as much as it should. In other words, I'm back biggrin )

Chou opens the church's doors, reveling the small town sitting down praying. The preacher looks up at Chou, the music stops as the whole room glances over. "I see you, father" She says to the preacher with a bow, then turns to the group. "These are visitors wishing to speak with your son." She says mainly pointing to Aku. "Sanji, do you know them?" The preacher asks the young man sitting at the piano. Sanji glances over to them,"I will handle it, father." He says walking over to Chou and them, he waves at them to follow as he opens a side door.

Once out of ear shot of the villagers, Aku bows her head to Sanji. "We wish to have Yumai's belongings, we have recieved message for us to do so." She says as she glances to Ryuu's necklace. Sanji follows her eyes then gasp, he suddenly takes Ryuu's hands. "Only Aku is to have this, does this mean.." He looks up at Ryuu's eyes. Ryuu looks back with a glare," Give us what we want." She says pushing him away. Sanji glances over to Chou only to see she had already left.

Tarik stands near the door waiting for Aku and Ryuu to finish their business. He watches the sky and sees what looks like Skurai's airship. He mutters, "Can't seem to shake the maggot. That means those pesky guardians are sure to follow." He signals to Ryuu, "We need to hurry."

elaise smiled at amiric " yeah you probably should have. she said softly as mina hopped off her shoulder and landed on willow's again, she still held the object in her hand and watched as it glowed.

As the ship arrives in Egypt, Sasori looks below to see if she can see the others. They pass the devistation, of the soldering mountain.

Sasori sees some people closer to the town. "The others might be over there, to the south."

Ryuu nods, then looks back at Sanji remembering him through Aku's memories. "We need her mother's harp..." She says, Sanji looking at the necklace then nodded. He opens a chest to revel a beautiful golden harp. Aku notices the bell symbol then takes out her knife, she soon carves a hole then removes part of harp carefully. Ryuu smirks as Aku takes out the stone, then she places the stone in Tarik's hands. "Thank you Sanji.." Aku says with a bow.

"Hold it right there." The preacher says, the door wide open to revel fellow priests. "What are you doing with the devil's stone?!" He growls, walking over to slaps his son. "Pathetic!" He yells then glances over to Aku. Ryuu takes hands with Aku, then Tarik after throwing down her smoke bomb. The preacher coughs along with the others as Ryuu escorts Tarik and Aku out of the church.  

[Kaosujin Ryu]

Amiric moved fluidly and quickly into the small town nearby. He noticed a man in dark body armor that turned slightly to glance at him. He smirked. Amiric's eyes narrowed as the sleeve of the cloak the stranger wore shifted, revealing the same attachment he had on his armor.

((Back sweatdrop Anime convention here too, but storms and stuff ended it rather quickly... Tennessee is now just like Louisiana crying ))

Skurai looks around, analyzing the area before he made his decision. "Alright... it looks good, now... get out." Skurai looks over his shoulder at the guardians that were behind him. He looked back forward, expecting to hear some protest, but he didn't care because where he was going, there was probably not going to be any coming back.

"WHAT?!" Eiji was the first to say something, rushing to Skurai's side. "So you're going to kick us off while you go on some possible suicide quest?!"

"No... I just want you off, it'll be better for you and myself to work if you get with your group below." Skurai grabs a device out of his pocket and gives it to Eiji. "Here... this is to keep in contact with the ship so that we can plan. Now get down there to your other guys." Skurai walks off, giving orders to the crew members.
