Shane-Cheshner Lord of Armageddon Shane-Cheshner ShisoVienna90 Shane-Cheshner ShisoVienna90 @Hat: That guy from the movie Dirty Dancin'! @Shane: Is it good? (i bet my bro's getting a copy right now) It's not bad so far. Sweet. I might get it soon then. (cuz I really need to find more prog bands to listen to right now... I got songs from DT's newest album stuck in my head.) xd If you're looking for prog bands, Muse doesn't come close. Isn't Muse progressive rock? EDIT: Also, whilst looking into the Progressive style of genres, I realized something....I still need to get Dream Theater's latest album. ...Not at all. They're alternative. Where did you get progressive? Wikipedia under Muse's page: Genre(s): Alternative rock, progressive rock, new prog, symphonic rock That, plus they've always sounded more like Progressive Rock to me. My dad likes Muse because they remind him of Pink Floyd, as well.

So yes we're riding a magical platform and we're hoping that god shows us some sign that we need to eat all the Doritos we can find because that is the secret to true enlightenment but we cannot tell that to the mass public because it will cause pani-- OH GOD KOOPA

And I find little resemblance between the two bands, so I assumed they were not progressive. >_>

l-Kathulu-l OH GOD THE SYMPHONIES IN THE CD. -otagasms- You're talking about the Exogenesis Symphony, right? I haven't listened to them yet, but I heard a lot of the album's praise stemmed from that symphony.

They're all symphonic metal.
