Amazing how fast Love-Sick Puppy moved on from me to some other gal. Just makes me wonder how many other ladies he's got lined up as potential mates if it doesn't work out with this one. sweatdrop

We're dealing with a heat wave right now. There are moments where I'm fine with it... and then suddenly I feel like I can stay cool.

Like right now. The heat is definitely getting to me right now.

I want to go stand in our "hot" tub of cold water again to try cooling down. sweatdrop

I might be able to cool down some once I change into my pajamas. *shrugs* Not sure by how much... but it would be something.

Anyway, I managed to finish Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban last night. So I did end up having at least one completed book for the month of July.

Now I'm going to start reading Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare.

Meh... I'm not going to spend too much time continuing with that train of thought. Especially since I don't know what changes some of my friends may have made with their particular characters... and whether I'll still have some characters still involved in the storyline due to recent changes in personal connections with said friends. Not to mention, some folks not even showing any interest in helping me develop their character more.

Internet is starting to drag for me right now. So, I'm going to head off and read for awhile before I call it a night. Talk to you later.

Ugh... I hate when people don't communicate important information to me and then I get caught in the middle of a situation, making me look like a bad guy.

Apparently one of our residents' friends (or girlfriend or ex? I don't know anymore.) isn't allowed in the building. Not sure when they happened as I've never had any issues with her. She's friends with several other residents, so sometimes she would visit with them instead of the initial resident I mentioned. Guess that's what got her into trouble? Not staying with the initial person she said she was visiting? *shrugs* I don't know.

My day had been going pretty well. The weather has been nice and temperatures have been back to bearable again, which is nice. Co-workers being good to work with and actually had some nice little mini conversations with them. Delicious lunch.

Then that whole situation happened... Now I just want my shift to be over and be able to go home.

Ugh... not sure what happened but I'm just not feeling completely 100% right now. Last night while I was watching Sailor Moon S (in honor of it being International Sailor Moon Day), I started getting sleepy... and it was only about 8 p.m. or so. Once I finished the one disc of episodes, I decided to go ahead and head to bed early.

Today I've just been... lethargic? I don't know. I don't really have much energy to do anything significant ((good thing it's a Sunday where there's not much going on in the first place)). Muscles feel tired and slight tingly in my fingertips. *sighs* I had some orange juice (which was okay - flavor seemed a bit off) and it helped improve my energy level a tad... but still a long ways to go before I'm back to normal.

Our Activities Director ended up being the one to serve breakfast this morning. And one of our Med Aids showed up later. Not sure what's going on. Sometimes I don't even bother looking at the schedule to see who is working because lately it hasn't even matched up with who is actually here.
