The thing with this rainy weather though is that I just want to relax and not do anything... rather than be stuck here at the front desk waiting for the hours to slowly tick by.

Half hour until my coworker comes down to relieve me for my lunch break. Then whatever we figure out for me to do filing. And then squeeze appointment reminder calls. And at long last be able to go home.

*checks staff phone list in shared documents* Huh... well it looks like the cook I was wondering about is no longer working with us.

Book reading update: I'm about 2/3 of the way through Lady Midnight. I've been quite enjoying it and look forward to continue onwards with the series when I get the chance. Cassandra Clare has never failed to impress me with her work.

One of the residents is insistent that football has been cancelled and track is coming back because of the holiday (Labor Day). Not sure where the hell he got that idea. neutral

Almost thought we were going to have a situation with one of our residents. Turns out she was just upset because she couldn't find her purse. Between me and my coworker, we looked in her usual hangouts and ended up finding it. Must have been in her bedroom still as my coworker said she found it.

Reminded residents of their appointments. Now to wait until my coworker is available to watch the front desk for me to do filing.

I've already taken care of everything else I needed to do today. Just waiting for someone to cover the Front Desk, so I can do Filing.

Doc and Austin, the cats that reside here at the assisted living facility I work at.

Who was the last person you yelled at?
I sort of snapped at the residents on Friday. They kept bugging me about getting their money and I was getting tired of repeatedly telling them I wouldn't have Banking until 9 AM. So, it got to the point where I was like "I won't have Banking until 9 AM. So, I need you all to step away from the desk and I'll let you know when I have it."

Seriously they're like vultures sometimes in the morning when I'm about to get Banking.
