Meh. I can't stand dubs. With the exception of Death Note and FMA, I haven't found a dub I actually like. I watch everything subbed so I can have the series in it's original goodness. Nothing edited/censored/cut/ect.
Plus, female Japanese voices are hot.

The only anime dubbing company who's censorship annoys me to an extreme degree is 4Kids...because they cut out mostly everything...and even then they're not COMPLETELY bad.
Most anime dubbing companies actually try their hardest to make an anime good for western audiences while still making it as close to it's original format as possible. Now, sometimes Americanizing the anime is necessary. Take Fooly Cooly for example. I believe in the original Japanese version, Haruko talks about certain Japanese celebrities that no one in America knows about, so in the dub, they instead have her talk about American-known guitarists like Jimmy Hendrix and Kurt Cobain. However, all in all, American dubbing companies actually DO try to keep it as authentic as possible. Plus, after a while, they'll release uncut DVD sets with the Japanese audio/footage in it, so everyone's happy.
That's why I enjoy English dubs...because I pay homage to the time and hard work that the American dubbing companies and the voice actors put into it. Don't get me wrong...even these companies can make mistakes and ******** up at times. I DO acknowledge that there ARE bad dubs. But most dubs are actually good, IMHO.
And as far as female Japanese voices go....they can be hot at times, but on quite a few occasions, I find they can be just plain ******** annoying.
Kudos for liking the Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist dubs, by the way.
Well, that's my defense.

Kudos for liking the Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist dubs, by the way. Well, that's my defense. Well, at least for me, I can't stand English dub voice actors. I have nothing against them, I just don't like how they sound, especially since some phrases just come out weird.
And to me, it's actually impossible for me to be annoyed by Japanese voices. I actually like they higher pitched, squeaky voices of some female VA's.
