Guardians & Demon King Part III (Ending)

[Kaosujin Ryu]

"Why the hell is he just standin' there?" Roark said loudly, glaring toward Amiric, who still hadn't moved. The man smirked, shifting his arm so that the attachment spread, revealing a total of five card placement slots. "Are you so eager to feed the darkness?" he said quietly, his voice soft but resonant. Amiric chuckled. "If that's how you want it... then let's get this over with," he said quietly. He flicked his wrist, his attachment doing the same as the other man's.

" we should move." elaise said having seen the man in her vision she out her hand in her bag and pulled out the object she'd found in the amazon. " i have to go somewhere with this, you coming willow."
willow nodded before flying towards elaise on mina " come on then, let's find out why you need this object."

fast forward:

Eiji, Halcian, Sasori, Acos, and Roarke moved to the teleporter and arrived down where Onyx and the others were. Halcian was a bit worried on why Skurai sent him with them but didn't bother to ask why. Eiji was also just as upset, but remained quiet as they joined the others.

Skurai sighed as the guardians left and jumped back up to his commanding role.

Sasori was not sure why Skurai should chose to go on a suicide mission now. She thanks Halcian and then follows everyone off the ship. They meet up with the others.

When they join up she asks, "Did you see the smoking crater?"  

[Kaosujin Ryu]

Amiric heard Sasori clearly, nodding slightly as a clone formed from the shadows nearby, standing nearby to keep an eye on the other guardians. "Prepare to feed yourself to the eternal darkness!!" the man snarled, a ring of purple flames warping around them. So he wants a Shadow Game... very well then, he thought. The gauntlet on his free hand flared with light as the other personality came to the forefront. "If it is a Shadow Game you desire... you will have one unlike anything you've experienced," Yami Onyx said quietly.

(The name's just to tell them apart; Cimira's Amiric's true 'Yami', or 'darker half', while Yami Onyx is the personality sealed within the gauntlet.)

Ryuu glances at the stone then looks to Tarik. "Alright...guess those guardians are too busy to notice we were even here. Ironic, no?" She says with a chuckle as she takes off with her dragon. Aku follows behind, the bowel left behind; empty of any rice.

Ryuu flies next to Tarik,"That summoning stone might have no limits, if its powerful enough; we could easily summon the other compass stones." She suggests, still just a idea.  

[Mario Dragon]

Tarik agrees. "It might be interesting to see what that stone can do."

They arrive at a small fort just across the border. "We can use this as a base to go to Egypt. I want to check out the crater later and the market to see what news there is."

"We can change and get some food then venture back."

"Alright then boys, let's find that beast and kill it!!" Skurai pointed out into the open sky and chuckled triumphantly. "Charge the cannons, we're going to kill this beast!!!" One of the operators nodded and began to charge the cannons on the ship.

Eiji watches Onyx and tilts his head in a bit of confusion now that he was out of having a moment. He moves toward Sasori, watching Onyx work.

Halcian just walked, being sure to keep close to Eiji as Skurai had commanded for him to do.

After they take care of their dragons, Ryuu stretches as she walks. "I call for a feast!" She cheers, wanting food since she was finally able to eat. Aku chuckles weakly, then glances at the sky. She goes to change, muttering a farewell. Ryuu waves before entering her room.

Aku quickly changes then stares out her window. "Empty..." She whispers as she looks to her chest then sighs quietly. "Is it so...? Are you gone, Slayer..?" She mutters, feeling his presence disappearing. Aku goes to her mirror, brushing her hair silently.

Ryuu gets dressed into causal clothing, then takes out Tatsuko. "Morning!" She calls out, petting the little dragon happily. Tatsuko coos at her, then jumps onto her neck. Ryuu leaves for the dining room.

Tarik says, "Excellent idea, I'm famished." He summons Troddle then goes to change from the disguise he wore for their Egypt trip. He comes back and Troddle was setting up the table for their banquet. Tarik sits at the head of the table.

As Troddle brings out the food, Tarik asks Aku, "This 'devil' stone of yours, do you know the story behind it? Is there a legend? You come from a healing family, is it a family heirloom or perhaps a tool of the trade?"

Ryuu sits at the table, Tatsuko jumping off her neck onto her plate. Ryuu quickly eats her pork, then glances over to see Tatsuko already done as well. She chuckles, petting the dragon's head softly. Ryuu glances over to Aku's necklace, silently using it to give Aku back her memories. She would interview her later to see what she found out through Ryuu's memories.

Aku glances over to Tarik,"The stone was given to my mother by her lover, he wanted his gift to be perfect. He heard of the tales my mother sang to the children of a treasure from the ancestors. It was said how he traveled the globe, having to defeat a sea monster in order to get the chest. My mother wasn't fancy of gold, however he knew she would love the stone. He searched the seas for it, but came home empty. Although he used the chest later to help build our church, he later found that within the lock of the chest was the stone by cheer luck. We have many tales on how our ancestors used it.." Aku smiles warmly, remembering her mother's stories well.  

[Mario Dragon]

Tarik finished off his crown roast. Troddle brings out the desserts. "Interesting. Why is it called 'devil' stone?" He takes a piece of chocotate cake.

"Would it be possible to use the stone to summon a compass or compass stone? Or maybe both?"

Aku chuckles,"The priest moved in after father died, he made the village hate us for being gifted. Then they rebelled, and believed his lies.." She mutters the last sentence then sips her tea. "Perhaps..I haven't tried anything besides the rice." She said with a shrug, the stone in her pouch.

Ryuu eats another plate of full then pats her stomach. "Finally.." She comments, glad to eat again.  

[Mario Dragon]

Tarik says to Aku "Perhaps you can try summoning one after you have mastered the stone. There is a market on the border. When everyone is ready, we can go there and gather some information."

Aku nods,"Sounds like a plan.." She says then finishes her meal. She turns to Tarik, about to ask about Slayer then shakes her head sipping her tea. "I think I'll rest a bit.." She mutters, getting up.

Ryuu glances to Tatsuko as she hops hon Ryuu's shoulder whispering something. "Oh.." Ryuu says, then pokes her skin with a knife. Tatsuko hops over to it, sucking a little a blood. "Apparently she has a urge to it as well." She explains to Tarik who probably glanced over in confusion.
