No to both. Especially to a Bleach roleplay. The zanpakto's are so easy to manipulate to be the number 1 bad-a**. Basically what they did was gave Aizen the "I kill you sword" with the illusion technique. Well, aside from his already overwhelming power. Imagine, if he could beat Ichigo at Bankai with one finger, he could easily take out Zaraki and Byakuya at the same time (Those are the captains everyone claims are the strongest).
Personally, I think Ukitake [aside from Yamamoto], if he could only overcome his disease. Also, Shunsui is probably also just as strong.
Bleach is nothing more than contradiction after contradiction, but I love it anyway. heart

While them preventing you from discussing such topics isn't the best way to handle the issue if your college have a problem with it, picketing against it also isn't the best response. Such things as freedom of speech and the right to picket disappear when you're on private property (especially if you're enrolled, seeing as they could expel you without giving a reason). Handle the situation with care.
You should join, Magni! *can only wonder at how imaginative his character's jutsu would be if he made a profile for it*
Now that they're showing the dubbed version of Death Note, I've started watching. Yes, I do prefer dubbed anime to the original Japanese (unless the dubbing was done horribly).
Do both, Gale!

Guess I immediately go into defence mode when Naruto comes up, had too many discussions about it *sighs*
Personally I only like the Naruto manga and only watch the Bleach anime... though I have a feeling I would enjoy the Bleach manga more, as I usually always like the manga better of all series.
I feel a Bleach RP could be hard to do, because of the possible godmoding that could follow (like Tana said). But then again coming up with a fun ability and design would be really cool xD

I think if you have time you should join it. DTT's tend to be well thought out and funtastic. As for a Bleach one, I might consider joining it. I have a soft spot in my heart for Kon afterall.

Sorry Tana, but most of the anime you listed is not for me. I will admit to starting to download Legend of Black Heaven on your suggestion. To be honest, my anime watching has slowed considerably since starting college. Fulltime job and fulltime student has killed my free time to sit and watch shows. crying
As for Naruto and Bleach, there is a decent way to counteract the godmodding and uber-jutsuisms. I once joined a Bleach RP that was set in the academy. nobody had much power or skill yet, and you had to learn in RP how to reach shikai . . . nobody gets bankai- period. I wrote out a lenghty app for both the charecter as well as the Zanpaktou. The only reason I quit was they decided to do a time jump ahead two years shortly after I joined. neutral Sama-san did some RP with me in that one, and it was fun for a time. Then he disappeared.
I am sure the mangas would interest me too . . . but it is easier for me to download the animes. Also, it is even easier to watch the dubbed stuff on my DVR, though I am just about ready to start watching the sequel to Naruto's original series and see what goes on two years after Sasuke's departure to Orochimaru's side.

I'm not protesting against the college, I'm just making a point to my classmates. And I'll change the sign to "Silenced by democracy."

Wow. Magni read my mind . . . that was what I was thinking about originally for a Bleach RP . . . >.>
And as for the new Naruto series: Shippuden. I thought that it's actually starting to accelerate somewhere, and that they're finally taking care of business.

Actually, surprisingly enough,my college has a free speech and open protest clause when you enroll. YOu're allowed to use the main lawn to picket against the school, as well as hand out fliers/etc., as long as it's not something offensive such as pornography
