Roulin's eyes were still somewhat blinded, but in his left eye, he could still make out who were threats and who weren't. Khalifa, with a distraction from Moli, took out the man with the beams. Cecilia's quick thinking a strategy gave her the upper hand against the earthquake creator. She did away with him quickly. Aeon, just as Roulin had feared was taking hits from a runner. Runners were usually small and weak and replied only on their power. She could handle him, but the fact she was being touched was frustrating the young leader. Before he could lift a hand to break the runner's knees, a body was on top of him. Legs were wrapped around his waste and arms were covering his mouth. Into his throat was being pumped a rather poisonous corrosive gas. Roulin wasn't susceptible to such tactics. He could become an element and negate the Owl's efforts altogether. Element of choice...fire...
"Heh, I don't need work. We just need to work together more...watch out, he's back...." Khalifa and Moli's common enemy was back to his feet again. The side of his head was rather bruised, but the blood leaking into his eyes didn't break his aim any. This guy meant business. In the name of what? Something some woman said on television. Shrugging, Moli took a stance and prepared to combat the beam just as he had before. After the concussive beam guy shot off another blast, Moli charged his own shot...
Before he could combat that attacker, the body of a charred Owl was thrown in front of the beam. His already burned body was disintegrated in the attack. It was Roulin's doing. Returning to his human form from the fire element he gained from Itachi, he lifted his hand to the beam user and locked him in place using telekinesis. With the aforementioned ability, he brought the beam user to him and held him now with his hand. "Man, you have a lot of moxy, you know that? You can't beat us. If you stay down when you get hit, you'll live longer and we'll leave. If you don...." With the tip of his finger, Roulin began to draw a twirling pattern across the forehead of the would-be killer. The line though wasn't superficial. His skin and nerves in the area were torn asunder as his skull soon fell to the ground below him. Fully aware of his actions, Roulin dropped the man and knelt to touch his exposed brain.....

When Lucien arrived before Che sporting large, black fairy wings, the Mastering Owl found himself staring off into the distance. Something had shifted, but it hadn't turned....it was something large and something familiar. Midway through Lucien's words, the thick wall of contemplation Che had erected when the aura of the world had shifted fell down. "Yeah, you know....it happens. Might want to get used to it since you're going to be seeing the most of it." The dandelion haired man was still staring off into the sky even as explosions began to shake and rattle the buildings around him. "Are you ready to save some lives? Can you power even allow that, kid?"
~~~
Roulin's collection of power had increased again and it felt...different. Like eating candy or something sweet. The experience was indeed strange at first, but he knew that it gave him what he needed. Power. It gave him just what he needed to protect those he cared for....included Cecilia who was now tugging on his arm to stop him. Looking over at her, he simply asked as if nothing had occurred, "What're you doing Cecilia?" Calmly, he arose to his feet and looked around again. There were more people coming to the area and her clamping onto him with concern wasn't going to keep them away. "Umm, don't stop for me...sorta--" Before he could finish, he had created a cube of energy using his Life Owl powers to shoot at another attacker. Of course, his head burst into syrupy liquid rendering him unharmed by the block. Roulin's eyebrow cocked with interest, but not enough to kill him and take his power. For now, he just wanted to fight him, but as long as Cecilia held onto him and his brother kept staring at him, wouldn't move. "Alright....I love you and all, but can you let go of me?"
Azorius Beat While flashes of the window she heard Mr. Thomas speak in a firm manner. And watched his eyes stare. Slowly looking back she listened a bit more of their conversation and was okay with the fact he didn't worry. Or pretty much didn't care what happens to her. She's only useful and that's all she needs to be. Coming to a halt she noticed a fight outside, a human and another like her. From her view he was hurting the kid badly and saw the door open she watched Mr. Thomas walk out and talking to the kid. Slowly hearing Mr. Thomas to come out, she grabbed her Journal and began to scoot out slowly getting up she felt the door close. Standing their she watched Mr. Thomas talk, from her view hoping to see them cease but sometimes cease will not compromise, thinking about it. She had to stand their and watch.
The kid had voiced his response....a resounding no. Of course, after hearing his explanation, Thomas still felt no remorse for his issue. Apparently, the human he was roasting like a pig was a bully who would dump water on him both in and out of school. Usually out of to avoid punishment. Thomas still wasn't happy with him although he was enacting sweet revenge. Thomas was a fan of revenge. Leaving him with no choice, The Owl of Death walked up to the boy who soon turned his powers on him after a moment of thought. The kid knew it wasn't smart to unleash fire on a man of authority. But his powers...his bread and butter lead him to believe he was invincible. Please. Thomas walked through his fire, though only after activating his powers. Oddly, the crude, oily liquid had lost it's sludge-like smell. That didn't both Thomas. Neither did clutching the kid by his mouth and pumping a quart of Negation down his upstart, street urchin throat. Thomas released the kid allowing him to fall to his feet. At first, there was no reaction. Just how it should be.
"Diana, we're going to continue walking from here if that's alright with you. Heal the kid on fire then come on." Thomas said as the watched the assaulting kid vomit violently. The contents of it went from a bright yellow bile color to a dark pasty film. One of his already charred lungs came up and so did his pancreas followed by a section of stomach lining. The Negation would eat the little oppressed welp up from the inside killing him both slowly and painfully. Fleecing his jacket, Thomas returned the liquid into his body before walking off like a man of real business.
