Swedish: My mother tongue.
Finnish: Well... I live in Finland, fluent here.
English: Fluent... I like English.
French: Studied it for 5 years and still suck at it. I love how it sounds, but I really don't get the complicated grammar. Understood everything you've said in French in this thread though. Also was forced to speak almost only French when I was in France and almost managed it xD
Norwegian: Have loads of family there and a friend moved there. Have visited several times and understand the language well, can't speak it very well though since I haven't exactly tried yet (they understand swedish pretty well).
Danish: Supposed to be related to Swedish so I should understand it, but ARGH. Understand it when they speak slowly.
German: Lol, was supposed to take courses in it. Entered the first couple of lessons then gave up. I simply don't like it, it's an ugly language. Understand some of it though...
Icelandic: After spending the summer there I understand some... really hard language though. Can understand the written Icelandic much better than the spoken one (took a while to understand the letters though <<).
Spanish: Very very limited. Understand some words here and there.
Japanese: Hehe, only know a few words, like Neko and Baka and the polite endings to names and things like brother, sister, father etc. All because of anime and manga xD
Hungarian: This language is supposed to be related to Finnish... but NO, just NO. Don't understand it at all. Know a few words though, since I studied it a little before going there. One example: közönöm zeepeen (don't exactly remember how to write it, it's pronounced that way though) = thank you very much.
Russian: Somewhat can guess what stuff means after visiting Russia. Written Russian is once again easier to understand once you've learned the letters.
Wooh this was fun going through all the languages I've ever encountered and learned some of. Languages aren't my thing though, so I've completely given up studying them.

Lemme see . . .
English: Universal language, is a must know . .
Tagalog: I'm Filipino, so I was born there and raised to be able to speak it.
I'm very fluent in both English and Tagalog.
French: Took 4 years of it. First three years were great. Last year we all got lazy and stopped learning. I can read and write better than hearing and speaking.
Japanese: I've picked up quite a bit of words and phrases from subbed Anime in general. Mostly for basic conversation though.
Spanish: I live in California, Spanish is found in every street corner, I should have taken it in high school instead of French, but I liked the way French sounded better. But Tagalog has some roots in Spanish, and French and Spanish have Latin roots, so I can pretty much understand 20% of what people are saying.

well english is my first language so im fluent in it
spanish is my second language and i am semi fluent
and my third language is sign language 3nodding

I wish I could do sign language. I know the alphabet and that's all >.< So I can talk, but very VERY slowly hahaha (and you have to hope I've spelled it right.)

All I know from sign language is that the sign for "coke" (if this includes coca cola, i dunno), is injecting your left arm. XD

i began to learn sign language at the age of four but am about five years out of practice which means i need to take a refreashing course cause if you dont practice any language you forget

There's no new sub-forum, the Vampire Parade mass RP forum was simply removed because of inactivity. Sorry to hear about your RP though, but sometimes RPs are just meant to die... none can last forever unfortunately. If you want you can ask any Mod to move it to the Archives if it is ever declared officially dead. And yes, let's just now all hope that does not happen anytime in the near future.
I've understood that Arabic is incredably hard to learn, I have a friend who studies it. She has for a few years and she still can't use it in casual conversation... << Do you have any specific reason you want to learn it for?
And no, it is not all that surprising I know these languages... since Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Icelandic all are pretty closely related to eachother. And knowing Swedish and English also greatly helps with German and Spanish. *shrug*
Sign language sounds interesting though ^^
